From the cake tasting (making extra gluten free flavors as we alternated layers), to the execution the day of, and not to mention how great it tasted and looked! Everyone told us that night and the next day that it was the best wedding cake they had ever had!

The cake tasting was a real treat. Both my fiance and I went and there was no question that we wanted Leigh from A Sweet Life to create our wedding cake. She let's you do your own thing but makes very helpful suggestions based on your likes. We had divine carrot cake in the bottom layer and dark chocolate on the top two tiers - DIVINE and our guests were blown away. As she told us it would be, our cake size was perfect for the number of guests and she delivered the cake and showed my friend how to cut it perfectly. I don't plan to get married again, but I would certainly use A Sweet Life again for any special celebration. Great service and great cake.

Leigh is a jewel! She listened to what we needed for our daughter's wedding, and went over, above and beyond! From the cake tasting to the finished project, we were kept informed, and she even sent pictures of the cake as it was progressing. She gifted the bride and groom with a sketch she had made before painting the cake. Our theme was Legend of Zelda, which we thought would be difficult, but she was a real trooper. She researched and made everything work. The finished project, which was a gorgeous reveal cake, was the centerpiece of the reception and almost took away from the bride and groom, it was so amazing. Numerous people came to me to tell me what an outstanding job she had done, including one who was a professional chef who wanted me to let her know that she was tremendously impressed. Not only that, but we did everything long distance, as mom and dad of the bride live in Colorado and the bride and groom are in Texas. What a shame I don't live closer! She would get ALL of our business from now on, but I'm sure that the bride/groom and all of the Texas family will use Leigh for every special occasion from now on! She's also so friendly and personable, she takes an interest in what she's doing and in the family she's doing it for. Super, super job, Leigh! We can't thank you enough for the amazing job and effort you put into our daughter's special day.
