I've been learning from Georgie for about five weeks. I have no guitar or music background and I am well into my 50's. We started at the very beginning....music theory 101. It has been a very fast five weeks and I have struggled at times to keep up. Learning to read music, count, play notes can be a little overwhelming. Through it all, Georgie has been an absolute professional. He's patient, firm, and expects his students to invest the same effort into learning as he puts into teaching. He is exactly the instructor I was looking for and he is covering the content I wanted to learn. I am very confident in his methods of teaching guitar and look forward to our lessons each week. If you have ever wanted to play the guitar or have been trying to learn on your own, contact Georgie. You won't be disappointed.

Sophia did a great job with our 7 year old son. He understood her teaching and was able to make progress and enjoy what he was learning. She was also very flexible with schedule and in home details. I would highly recommend Sophia to anyone considering lessons for their little ones or themselves.

About

Eric and the Ridglea School of Music are fantastic! He works so closely with my son (who is only 8), and is patient with his ups and downs as a budding guitarist. He fosters a "family" atmosphere that really makes my son WANT to learn, and unlike many music teachers, he isn't a musician who happens to give lessons. Eric is a teacher through and through, and clearly has a love of conveying his craft and knowledge to others.

My wife and I have hired Michelle Cullers to give piano lessons to our 9 yo daughter. After the first lesson, it was apparent that we had found a great teacher and coach. We can't wait to see the progress our daughter will make in the near future!

About

I had a great time taking guitar lessons with Jon. He showed me many useful techniques to use in playing the instrument. Under his guidance i was able to improve my tab reading skills. In addition he gave me technical knowledge about scales and how to use them. It was time well spent every week getting the instruction from him. i would definitely encourage anyone seriously thinking about playing guitar to sign up for lessons with JOn.

About

Ben is one of the best guitar instructors I've had the pleasure of working with for over a year now. Not only is he an excellent instructor he's a first rate studio musician caliber talent as well. He received his degree in guitar from college in California. As his student I've benefited from his expertise and the skills he learned there. Ben brings patience and encouragement that is important for beginner students to have in an instructor. He's fun to work with and I always look forward to jamming and learning from him. If you are considering either beginning guitar lessons or furthering skills you may already have let Ben Hefley help you get to that next level.

About

Richard is a very talented and a patient teacher. He teaches my 6 year old daughter in the comfort of our home and he is very regular. He follows a learning book and mixes his lessons to bring difficulty and technicality while keeping it interesting for my daughter. My daughter was difficult to work with at the beginning but he was able motivate her in every possible way. As a parent I make an effort to learn with my daughter so that when my daughter practices I am able to guide and correct her and Richard is very generous to take the time to give provide me concepts. I am extremely happy with Richard and his ability to teach children.

About

Marc is a great instructor! I hired him for my teenage son who recently became interested in playing the guitar. Marc knows how to interact with beginners and he patiently goes back over something if necessary. He stays focused on teaching and doesn't let anything distract him during the lesson. He gives my son "homework" after every lesson, which seems to help reinforce what he just learned. My son is always excited to go to his guitar lesson with Marc! Overall, I would definitely recommend Marc to anyone wanting to start/continue learning guitar. Thanks again Marc!

Ric has been a great songwriting mentor. We started with basic guitar, but that bloomed into creatively capturing my thoughts. He listens and reacts to both the technical and emotional aspects of songwriting and has great advice. Over the last year, he has helped me foster my guitar knowledge and lyrics into songs that I stand behind and want to record. During lessons, Ric has suggestions, alternate chord progressions, and small tweaks to the songs (with a ton of input) and stresses that the exploration of music and listening to peers is the path to the songwriting world. I would recommend Ric to anyone looking to pursue songwriting. His technical knowledge is vast, but his ear and advice are amazing.

I attend church with Jameson and found out he was teaching piano. I took some lessons at a county college but didn't stick with it. Jameson had an opening that worked with my schedule. He is patient with me and will explain something whenever I ask a question. He will also attempt to reschedule if something comes up which I appreciate. He gives praise and encouragement.

My daughter has been taking lessons for over 5 years from Ms. Marie, and it has been a delight to watch her grow both in her in piano playing skills as well as her confidence. Ms. Marie's style of teaching is the perfect balance of structure and flexibility. I love how she has taught the core concepts, allowed for stylistic changes when her students needed to switch gears, and even encouraged the kids to use their knowledge to compose their own music. What I love most is that my daughter is still excited to go to lessons each week.

Matt was very helpful with teaching me the Sitar and 12 string guitar. His practice studio was well kept and maintained nicely. After the hour session, we talked about the goals we both had in mind for me so I could prepare for the next lesson. Matt was so positive and helpful that I was able to progress right away! I will be working with Matt for a long time!

About

I started lessons with Edward a little over 4 months now and have noticed a vast improvement in my vocal ability and range, I still have some learning to do but there's no doubt in my mind I will get where I want to be with my voice while having Edward as my teacher. Edward does an amazing job at teaching the proper technique in using your voice and explaining how it all works and what you have to do to get it better. I remember my first lesson and was so impressed with how much I learned just from that first hour and since have learned so much. I've been able to accomplish things with my voice I was never able to before as his teachings are geared toward the right way in using your voice, my range has increased an octave thus far and I'm excited to see what else unfolds from his teachings. I highly recommend Edward to anyone who is serious about getting their voice to a better place as I believe everything he has taught me is the absolute 100% correct way. I have never felt any discomfort or strain with his teachings, only improvement.
