How do I find someone to fix my sprinkler system?

You can find a sprinkler repair professional by conducting a little bit of online research. This gives you access to their ratings and customer reviews. Some customers will even submit photos of their sprinkler systems that were fixed by the pros. But before you hire a professional, contact them. Ask them questions about their expertise, tell them about your sprinkler problem and request free cost estimates.

How do I increase water pressure in my lawn sprinklers?

Figure out why your sprinkler has low water pressure and determine if you need to make any repairs. There could be an issue with the valve, a leak or the sprinkler heads may need cleaning. If the water pressure is low in your house as well (check your water pressure regulator), the problem may be with the municipal water supply.

Why won’t my sprinklers pop up?

Several problems can prevent sprinkler heads from popping up. For example, here are a few possible culprits:

  • The valve is partially closed.
  • There’s dirt, sand or debris between the sprinkler’s cap and riser.
  • There's low water pressure.
  • There are leaks in the water line.

Contact a pro to help you diagnose the problem and repair it.

Why is one sprinkler zone not working?

One sprinkler zone could be malfunctioning for several reasons, although the most obvious one — a closed valve — is often the culprit. Check to see if the main system valve is closed. It’s easy to forget to turn this back on after repairs. Other causes for failed sprinkler zones are electrical issues within the valve, timer, wiring or solenoid. A common reason is a bad connection that needs to be re-soldered.

I hired this company to repair my sprinkler system. I was charged $800 for replacement of sprinklers and to fix errors on my system. I was told the system was completely fixed and rewired plus given a 90 day warranty. A week later my system still read error and I called the company back out. They wanted to charge me an additional $255 to fix an issue I initially reported was an issue during the 1st repair. I refused the service and will find another vendor. The customer service is good but I feel cheated on what I was told was fixed.

The New Era team came out to repair my sprinkler system on a cold rainy day. They arrived in under 30 minutes and did not charge me an arm and leg to repair the broken valve. The team member was professional and great at explaining what the problem was. Definitely recommend them and will hire them again in the future.

WOW! What could I not say about professional man repairing and installing new irrigation sprinkler systems, I will get to the point about his work, he is a professional and he knows his line of work. He came and he repaired my sprinkler system which is about 26 yrs, he did a great job and he explained everything to me, he also installed a new controller, he brought what I ask him for the Hunter brand, but he explained to having a WIFI control system would be very, first I was a reluctant, because I don't care for all the latest technology, I decided to get was I happy very much so, and if anybody use this professional man for a irrigation system repair or new installation, I would recommend getting the WIFI irrigation system he recommended, it is very and that's the same one he use for hisself. I am glad I found him and I look forward to have him do more work for me.

John came out to replace a broken sprinkler head and repair a non-functioning zone. We couldn't be more pleased. He arrived early, stayed until the job was done, taught us about our system, and found the valve that we couldn't find (turns out it was buried under some dirt). Money well spent!
