He was a real nice guy to work with. I have a novel and have been through two editors and both were not very good with connection and weren't doing their job. Lance would always give me updates and ask questions that I would forget. He has spent his time caring for my novel and not letting me down. Really the best and I hope I can work with him again soon. Definitely someone you can count on.

Kristy Gillentine has been a remarkable asset to our organization, Houston PetSet. She has elevated our profile in the community with her superior skills in social media. She added a Twitter account for us that has brought new followers and supporters to our organization. Kristy always does what she commits to and goes above and beyond any expectations of her. She is professional, writes well and can express ideas succinctly, completes tasks quickly and always produces the highest quality of work. Our organization has grown because of Kristy and her ability to excel at every aspect of social media. She also has a rare ability to grasp new concepts quickly. Kristy is a delight with whom to work and I wouldn't change anything about my work experience with her.

Laureen is an incredible editor! She whipped my resume and cover letters into shape all without changing the "voice" from sounding like me. She showed me how to make job descriptions be more action oriented. I had three recruiters call to set up interviews within the first two weeks of using the materials Laureen updated for me. I have since consulted with her as a thought partner on strategies for working with challenging clients and getting folks more engaged in the usual brainstorm meetings.

Faye is an awesome tutor! She helped me write my personal statement essay for the optometry school application process. We worked on 2 essays and completed both in a matter of one and a half weeks. She is very flexible and was ready to work with my hectic schedule. She is very sincere and it is clear she enjoys her line of work. I personally love my essays, because I wrote them. I one-hundred percent believe in my story depicted in my personal statement. Faye isn't like other tutors, where she will output an essay after a consultation; rather, she works with you to make sure the story is coming from within. Faye is especially useful in that she has an interview process to get out all the ideas from the writer, and helps to translate that into a written answer. I thoroughly enjoyed and definitely benefited from her consultation services, and would highly recommend her!

Being that this is my first novel, I knew absolutly nothing about the process. To top it off, I couldn't find an editor that I could afford. That's until I got a response back from Alicia's Editorial Corner. Hiring Alicia was the best decision I made and I must say, she exceeded my expectations. Thank you Alicia, job well done!

Cory is actually a former employ of ours. While he was with us he wrote all of our web content, contracts, and company email templates, edited all of our web content, contracts, and company email templates, and he was the copy editor for all of our clients. He's no longer employed by us directly, but we contract with him on our larger projects for content writing and editing. He's a pro, and he's always been willing to go above and beyond for us.

Amanda has been editing for me since college. She has a sharp eye and is willing to add vital input that most writers need to be successful. She probably should edit this feedback for grammar and spelling...

I am usually able to quickly grasp the need behind a client's request. For example, letters or documents accepting a position or requesting additional information or verification, are all similar documents. But each of these deserves a different format, and voice tailored to the specific client.

About

I have over 20 years of writing (fiction, academic, non-fiction, feature articles and ghost writing), editing, and translation service experience. I can do it all! I have been published in both print and online media. I have also done translation from recorders, prints, and other means. I offer timely and professional turnaround on the projects I take.

About

There are writers who want to be Faulkner-like. There are writers who want to be Hemingway-like. I do not have the talent of either of these brilliant writers. But I do have a very direct and clear writing style. (Obviously, the latter's writing philosophy.) My writing approach is similar to that of a good editor: if you don't need it, delete it! Once you have the reader's attention, don't lose it by wandering aimlessly through a foggy maze of irrelevant details. As an editor, whether it is fiction, nonfiction or instructional writing, I can slice it, rearrange it or complement it to make your work more interesting, compelling and comprehensible.

About

I offer freelance writing and editing services, including ghostwriting, article writing, web content, and business correspondence. Attention to detail, time management, and unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction are my strong points. I guarantee the quality every written work deserves. I have always been a lover of the written word and have dedicated my life to learning all I can to make sure the works I write and edit shine as they should. I am well equipped for these tasks because I have the multi-genre/multi-form experience that many writers and editors do not. Not only do I have extensive freelance editing experience, but I have also invested time and money into continuing my editing and writing experience with my graduate degree. My high level of expertise is evident in my willingness to make this investment into my career, and in my dedication to helping written works get their messages across succinctly and professionally.

About

General Business Description: S. Grant Slater I am a freelance writer and editor who is willing to help anyone with any sort of creative writing; however, I am not qualified to perform or edit most technical writing work. My business includes original composition ghost writing, as well as editing. I am ultimately willing to work with my clients, and, if editing, only offer advice, not demands. If I am composing a piece of work for my clients, I will consult with them as a priority. I find writing and editing to be an ultimately rewarding experience for both the client and myself. My job is to supplement clients in the production of the quality work that the client and I both desire. If you would like a sample of my work to prove my qualifications, email me and state the genre of work which you would like me to send. If you require editing for a draft you are working on, or have already completed, email a digital copy of the draft as an attachment (preferably in a .doc or .docx format) to the address mentioned above. Charges: Charges depend on the length of the work, in terms of quantity, and are negotiable, depending on special circumstances. There will be an initial fee, to insure both the protection of my personal finances, and to guarantee a reimbursement for any potential dissatisfaction. If the client is dissatisfied with my work or editing, the client and I will work together further (as long as it takes to satisfy the client). However, if the client remains dissatisfied, after extensive work on the project has been performed, I will gladly reimburse the initial fee of the client, but only after the initial payment is remunerated. Note: No travel or commute is necessary. Mail payments in check or cash form; however, for your security, a check is preferred. If payment is lost in the mail, I will, as will be affirmed in the legal contract which both I and the client will sign, reimburse any cash payments, and urge that the client be honest regarding check payments and contact his or her bank for a stop-payment on the check number. Mail Payments in check or cash form only to the address provided. Legal: In the case that a client fails to pay the fees agreed upon by the client and contractor without the consent of the contractor, legal action will be carried out in order to obtain these fees. For this reason, the accurate personal information of the client will be necessary in order for business to be continued. A digital contract will be sent to the email address of the client who is applying for writing services. Before any business is conducted, this contract must be printed, filled out, signed, and mailed to my address.
