Eduard arrived on time, but didn't have the necessary equipment to start the job with him, he left and was gone 4 hours. I had him install 8 prehung doors. At the end of the job, he said it was more work than he expected and wanted an extra 40%. I paid him an extra 20%. However, I didn't inspect all the doors before paying him. I ended up pulling one door completely out and redoing myself. Another door I had to take halfway out, after having chalked and painted, the door knob didn't line up with the hole. He used screws to hold in the door frames and over tightened some so they boards weren't straight.

Russell did a great job on getting my very worn out door back to original shape and was able to get most of the problematic cracks filled in for my door. The stain came out well and matched the original and it definitely adds back a few years to the door! Russell was also nice and patient enough to give me some pointers on maintaining the longevity of the door to avoid problems down the line and it was refreshing to have someone not only do the work but also give insight on the matter. Larry was very responsive and very helpful. I was planning on getting the doors elsewhere & only having him install them, but he asked the right questions to realize he had the perfect doors for me on hand. He was able to paint, install & provide the doors for less than half of what I would’ve paid elsewhere. Both him & his assistant were very nice, professional & did beautiful work! I am very happy I found him on Thumbtack and would recommend him to anyone.

I reached out to Larry a couple weeks ago about a door issue I was having. He shared he could come out when he was in the area “next week.” I followed up on Sunday prior to the start of the week inquiring when they thought they would be in the area. No response. Tried again last night in hopes of a reply. Nothing. I do however see he’s got reviews for work done this week and he’s active online. Suggestion - if you simply don’t want to take the job, respond. I would have been fine with a simple “sorry we won’t be able to assist with your door issue.”
