"It was my first time using Thumbtack - My wife and I decided to look for a personal trainer. After going thru some choices that were narrowed down to our liking, we shot off rate/quote request to about 5 personal trainers nearby. To start off, what I liked about Zak was that I got a call from him IMMEDIATELY. Showed that he was serious, so I took the call and had a brief discussion on what we were looking for. Moving on to first meeting.. First meeting was free and during that time, he really took the time to get to know our needs, strengths, study our posture and make corrective suggestions. After the session, prices were discussed and on we go. There you have it - Simple, no hassle or obligation to we were signed up for his training. For people who are looking for a personal trainer, I know this can be a virgin territory. It certainly was for us. Zak understood that and took us from the basics. He offers nutrition programs (which is included in the rate for training - Can't be that). Nutrition program is designed for each individual and not that one plan fits all. My workouts are far different from my wife's workout. He has tremendous knowledge in what he is doing and is a dedicated student in learning more himself. Very respectful and a humble individual he is. We get weighed in end of every week and progress is recorded. You can really tell that he cares for your goals and not like other trainer that I've heard horror stories about, who only care about the money. With Zak, you are not just his paycheck - he truly cares for the well being. Zak being a powerlifter, he has shared many tips on better posture, better workout, and muscle recovery remedies. It's unusual for me to write a review online for anything, but when I know that I'm working with the best and with a person who is honest and genuinely cares for people, the least I can do is to pay it forward and let everyone know about what Zak has to offer. Give him a call - First session is free anyways, what do you have to lose?"

"I've worked out with the Fitness Professional since the start of the year and plan on using them in the future as well. I have worked out with personal trainers before, but my experience with Randy has definitely been more worthwhile. His approach is much more varied than trainers I've worked with previously, focusing more on overall health/fitness than just cranking on weights at the gym. Within a short period, I felt my energy levels increase significantly. It's also helped me develop a routine that is more flexible so I can still workout at home on my own time between sessions. It's helped get me in a routine where I feel the need to workout if I go too many days between, which is one of the hardest things about working out regularly. I would definitely recommend Randy to anyone truly wanting to begin working out and develop a proper routine to reach their fitness goals whatever they may be."

"Marvin offered personal training at the office building I worked in this was extremely convenient for me because I didn't have to drive to gym and it did not interfere with family time. Also as a new mom, I was looking for a trainer that would be patient enough to allow me to get back into a fitness routine - but at the same time, keep me on track with my goals. Marvin delivered on both! I found Marvin to be knowledgeable and thoughtful when he created my fitness plan. Things worked out so well for me, that I told my colleagues at work about working out with Marvin - they decided to join me for the lunch hour work out sessions and we got fit together!"

"When my friend referred me to Brian, I was very hesitant because I've had bad experiences with personal trainers in the past. My previous trainers would either yell at me during workouts or not care at all and play on their phones. From the initial consultation, Brian made me feel like I was his most important client! He took all of my measurements (not easy to let a guy do) and explained in detail what we needed to do to reach my weight loss goal. The next day he went with me to Market Street and spent an entire hour going through the grocery store and taught me what to buy and what to stay away from. He showed me that you can eat right on a budget too! He also printed out a list of foods to buy in the future so I would have a guide the next time I went by myself. I work out with Brian 3 times a week for 30 minutes and he is less expensive than every other trainer at the big name gyms I've been to. He is also very flexible with time, which is great because I have a hectic schedule! He changes up the workouts so I'm never bored. Not only does he work me out with weights, he's shown me great exercises that just use my body weight. In 6 months, I've dropped 75 pounds and 7 sizes! I still have more to lose, but I know I will get to my goal as long as I stay with Brian. He's so motivational, I feel like can do anything as long as I stick to his plan!"

"Steve L. is the best personal trainer / fitness specialist I have had! I've been working with him for less than a month and have already experienced and seen significant improvements. He comes directly to my home on Turtle Creek and we use my building's fitness center machines and weights. In addition, we alternate with outdoor sessions to change pace and routine to achieve even more results. He knows fitness and the right techniques. Steve L is truly one of the best and highly recommend him to anyone looking to get fit and achieve results."
