Latest Review: Having had one on one personal training with other trainers, Lupé is by far the best trainer I've ever had. the privilege of working with. He's kind, but focused and motivating.. He explains proper form and body mechanics better than anyone, and his in-depth knowledge of building muscle tissue safely is very refreshing, He pushes you to reach your goals while also working with your limitations, avoiding injury or burnout. He truly loves what he does and it comes across in his bench-side manner!

Latest Review: Randy worked with my husband, who is a stroke survivor, from May, 2013 until October, 2013. It was a bit different than what a personal trainer normally does. He performed arm and leg stretches, along with teaching him and myself what exercises we could do at home to keep his muscles from tightening up. Randy went above and beyond what was expected by doing research on what would help a stroke patient, since it was outside his normal realm of expertise. They met twice a week at an apartment gym. Randy was always on time and very professional. He is obviously very knowledgeable as a personal trainer and has a great rapport with his clients. We initially hired Randy because of the proximity to our home, his reasonable rates, and his willingness to try something different. Over the course of working with Randy, my husband was able to increase his strength and his flexibility as much as his physical condition allowed. We would definitely work with Randy again and strongly recommend him to anyone!

Latest Review: When my friend referred me to Brian, I was very hesitant because I've had bad experiences with personal trainers in the past. My previous trainers would either yell at me during workouts or not care at all and play on their phones. From the initial consultation, Brian made me feel like I was his most important client! He took all of my measurements (not easy to let a guy do) and explained in detail what we needed to do to reach my weight loss goal. The next day he went with me to Market Street and spent an entire hour going through the grocery store and taught me what to buy and what to stay away from. He showed me that you can eat right on a budget too! He also printed out a list of foods to buy in the future so I would have a guide the next time I went by myself. I work out with Brian 3 times a week for 30 minutes and he is less expensive than every other trainer at the big name gyms I've been to. He is also very flexible with time, which is great because I have a hectic schedule! He changes up the workouts so I'm never bored. Not only does he work me out with weights, he's shown me great exercises that just use my body weight. In 6 months, I've dropped 75 pounds and 7 sizes! I still have more to lose, but I know I will get to my goal as long as I stay with Brian. He's so motivational, I feel like can do anything as long as I stick to his plan!

Latest Review: I've been working with Chad for a month now and it's been great. He knows what he's doing and is always switching up the workouts, which I like. He is strict on form, which is good! I also keep a food journal that he looks at every week and makes suggestions for what I'm intaking on a daily basis. He is not the first personal trainer I've had - so this is not completely new to me - but he is definitely better than my other experiences with other trainers. He definitely cares about yor successes! I recommend him 100%.

Latest Review: When I started my search for a personal trainer, I did not know where to start. I knew I would likely need the person to meet me at my office gym because I work many hours. Also, knowing myself and my likelihood of continuing a workout routine and sticking to it decreases for each pause point (getting out of the office, driving out of the office garage to a gym, etc) that is baked into the process of getting to in an effective day's workout. I found Gigi on Thumbtack, reviewed her website, and made contact. Her response time was fantastic. We setup a time to discuss what I was looking for by phone. During the convo by phone, she recommended us meeting face-to-face (no pressure and no charge for either the call or the f-t-f meeting). Upon meeting her, I was impressed with her punctuality, communicating abilities (text, ability to use GPS for address locations, asking the questions I would expect when starting a workout routine, etc), her attentiveness to my answers to questions, and a no-pressure approach to discussing my training needs. I decided to try personal gym training for the first time and bought a package of sessions. I have now finished one package of sessions and feel stronger and have noticed more definition in my body tone. If you are considering personal training, be honest with yourself about: 1) how hard you push yourself when you work out alone. I know without a doubt that I would probably given about 50% (at best) of the push during my workout that I gave when working with Gigi. 2) the likelihood of actually getting to the location to workout (there are always more appealing options that we all rationalize our excuses away when deciding to blow off our solo attempts to go to the gym--friends meeting for dinner, family obligations, errands, and the list is endless) when going solo to the gym 3) the time (even a couple of hours a week) and the money you put into your workout really is for YOU, your health (physical and mental), and your life. I recommend Gigi for your training needs. She always has a variety of workouts (and even brings many different tools with her to add variety to the workout), takes notes of the workouts completed each visit, and strikes the right balance of push with a careful eye on your actual capacity as to not push into unhealthy territory for your body and physical level--this point is important because there are so many people with different capacities, different ages, needs, etc. Reach out to her, contact her, you will not be disappointed. Take a step for YOU and your health.
