I've had my first 4 guitar lessons with Vaughn, and look forward to continuing our lessons. He has a knack for making music theory feel less daunting, and more memorable/functional knowledge. I've already noticed an improvement in my guitar playing.

We couldn't feel more confident and pleased that Eric is our son's guitar teacher. Our son enjoys each lesson and is eager to learn more each time. The lessons are always a little more than a hour which we feel is a good amount of time spent on a beginner such as our son. We love that it is one on one individual lessons. The price for the attention, quality and professionalism is more than worth it. We highly recommend Eric to anyone!

I started voice lessons with Dr. Bruton in 2014 When I first started my voice was really bad, I had a range of a 6th. I could not sing "legato" and everything was nasally and bright. I could not act nor felt comfortable on stage when I had to in our studio voice labs. As the first year went by, my notes and voice where making a huge difference, I was singing for connected and also with some support. I went to GHNATS and also placed in the final rounds. His technique helped a lot, his technique is very unique and very helpful when it comes to singing on the breath and also support. His style of teaching is very clear and he gives you tips / comments on what to work for during the week prior to the next lessons. He suggests a journal which is pretty standard in every voice studio the professor usually asks to keep a "practice log" Dr. Bruton is very personal with every single one of his students, and is very caring and passionate for all his studios. His passion really shows in the way he teaches and the way he focuses on every student he works with. I learned a lot from him, not only voice technique but also acting and how to break down an aria / art song. His method of analyzing the dramatic text from the literature is very helpful in performance. By the time I finished my studies and Junior recital al SJCC, I was singing repertoire by Duparc, Respighi, and heavy / dramatic roles for the Tenor voice because his technique allowed me to do so without tiring or hurting my voice which is a crucial thing. He is very pro vocal health and would not make you do anything that would hurt the instrument, which is great in a voice professor. Dr. Bruton's help and teachings I was able to successfully apply, audition and got accepted to some of the most prestigious music schools in the nation for voice. Because of his technique and help, I was accepted to Cincinnati Conservatory, UNT, UT at Austin and also I was in the top 40 auditioners for admission to The Curtis Institute, which only two out of those 40 receive acceptance every once a year. If it wasn't for his time and effort, I would have not been able to get to where I am today and probably the future. If you live in an area where he teaches at, I strongly invite any future voice major who is starting to invest time especially if you go to any of the schools Dr. Bruton gives lessons at. You will learn so so much and will be 1000% worth it. He has opened many doors for me and he can do the same for you. I have nothing but great, amazing, positive things to say about him. I could keep going on and on. His love for his students and job really shine through in every lesson. He is the most amazing human being, teacher and the best voice teacher I have ever studied with or that I have been around of. If I could give him a million star rating I would.

Ben is a patient and hugely gifted singing teacher. I had never taken any voice lessons and was feeling pretty shy and self-conscious. He has a way of putting you at ease and bringing your guard down. Ben is a master of his trade and a very experienced teacher. I highly recommend him to everyone old or young, beginner or advanced.

Working with Debbie has been an amazing experience. I came in having no voice training what-so-ever except for what I had taught myself listening to showtunes. She has helped me to expand my range, develop both my head and chest voice and that your singing should be an extension of speaking. As an actor it is so important to connect with the character and meaning in a song and Debby never lets you just sing without investing in the intention and truth of a song. She is not just teaching voice, but acting too.

I couldn't be happier with Keturah's approach to teaching the proper way to sing. I've been singing for years and I always knew there was something that wasn't quite right. Within weeks of vocal lessons, I can already hear a great improvement in my vocal resonance and breath control. Highly recommended!

My son started lessons with Ms.Alty 6 months ago. We are happy with it. I thought he won't take it serious and will quit after half of the year. But Alty showed herself as a high professional, because she found a special approach to my son Max. He is happy to attend every class. Alty is not only developing a skill to play but arouse a passion for music

I have had the privilege of having Cheryl as my Chinese tutor and I would give her the highest rating possible. She is an exceptionally gifted teacher who is very knowledgeable about the Chinese language as well as the Chinese culture. Being an older student, I do not have the ability to learn the language as quickly my younger fellow students but she was very understanding of this. Indeed she was God sent because she was able to strike a fine balance between being challenging and being patient. I highly recommend her for anyone starting Chinese lessons because her musical background allows her to hear if you are using the right tones in this tonal language. This is very critical in building a good foundation for Mandarin. Lastly, I want to mention that learning Mandarin is not easy but her enthusiasm and constant encouragement is a blessing!

My daughter learns piano in the conservatory of music at cinco ranch. They are very caring, punctual and best for music lessons. My daughter was very novice at the start and now she can play piano looking at the scripts. We are very happy they way she is progressing. Teachers are very attentive and pay proper attention. Thank you very much.
