Working on writing a song with Mr. Perrmann, he's a talented teacher and a great guitar player! Taught me about everything I know about Pentatonic and Dorian scales, and improved my understanding of Music Theory and learning songs in general!

Taylor is such a great teacher! He does a really good job of teaching the 'basics' while at the same time allowing you to choose the learning path you want to go down. I feel like I've learned an incredible amount, not just about piano technique, but about music theory and even song composition. Such a brilliant and enthusiastic guy - I would recommend 100%!

I had an introductory voice lesson with Laura last week, and it left me more excited than ever to delve deeper into understanding my voice and body as an instrument. Even after one hour, I felt like I was given foundational building blocks to a maintaining a healthy voice and vocal practice that I will use always. I am a performing musician, singing in two Austin bands, and I am a preschool teacher, so I use my voice a lot. Like, really really a lot. I sought out vocal lessons as a way to protect myself from injuring this expressive outlet I rely on, and to feel more comfortable and confident in my vocal performances. I understand a lot about my voice but I had never had lessons, and I could tell from the strain I was left with after shows or a busy week at work that I was at an impasse. Laura was recommended to me by a friend, and we set up our lesson the following week. My first vocal lesson ever! Laura was so warm and supportive. I was nervous but she was very reassuring. I felt comfortable working with her and found that she communicated complicated or specific ideas in a way that was accessible and immediately applicable to posture, breathing, and vocalization. I left feeling thrilled that I had found her and really excited to have her as a guide to pushing the boundaries of my vocal expression. I am so happy we made that connection. I've been singing all week, practicing what she gave me, and cannot wait for my next lesson.

I have enrolled my 6 year old for violin lessons with Dolce Studio. Two Lessons and my son has taken a liking to the instrument and the teacher Ms.Emily is so encouraging & supportive. She knows how to draw out my son who can be very reluctant to try in the face of a difficult task. Thanks to the wonderful Brenda Bedell for all the initial ground work in setting up the violin teacher for us! Highly recommend the studio for music lessons.

I have been taking guitar lessons from Nick recently, and he is great! Very patient and explains things in a way I can understand. Doesn't jump down your throat the way some instructors do. Know he also teaches voice and keyboard lessons, and believe they'd be a good bet too. I would definitely recommend him!!

Tom is awesome, he is teaching both my sons and I. He is patient, and brings everything together to where it makes sense even to someone with no music background. If you're looking for a great teacher who has the knowledge and patience to teach anyone he's your man!

My 11 year old son began taking piano lessons with Mrs. Melanie Richards approximately 3.5 years ago when he was only 7. He has amazed us on how much progress he has made since he began taking lessons with Melanie. She is patient yet sets expectations for their learning progress. Not only does she teach how to play the piano but what my son also enjoys very much is the music history lessons she provides regarding a piece of music and composer. She is knowledgeable and is a great teacher and we highly recommend her.

A friend of mine referred me to Ross for drum lessons for my 13 year old son about a year ago and we have never looked back! My son has some challenging behaviors and takes longer than typical kids to learn new things but he is totally rocking out with Ross. Ross is more than just a music teacher, his passion for music and its benefits is obvious as well as his patience and understanding. He has a natural ability to relate to the needs of each student and teach at their level while pushing them forward at the right pace. My son loves learning drums and I love watching his confidence grow. I’m just thankful that we found Ross…Also, his student showcases are a blast!

I love this service! I have 4 kids and I can my physically get them everywhere they need to be. Traveling music lessons made piano lessons possible for our family. It’s not as expensive as you would think.

Highly recommend Tom! I've been playing guitar for some time now and he really knows how to get you to the next level. He's extremely flexible, punctual, knowledgeable (knows practically everything about guitar - from technique to music theory), a great teacher, and has a stronger desire to help. Looking forward to continuing lessons with him!

    About

My teaching techniques really zero in on bringing out each student's individual and unique sound in as healthy a way as possible. I teach how to apply classical techniques to any style or genre of music to give you a supportive base to go from, or in other words give you all the rules and how to apply them so you know exactly how to bend them in order to achieve your style. I am strong in communicating these techniques to any age group. I regularly teach students ages 5-35. I do well to get the goal aspect of a lesson while keeping it fun and personalized. I also have a background in fitness and hold several certifications, so I understand the concepts of movement and alignment (such as Alexander technique) best to support your singing.
