We could not have made it through our wedding without Barbara Cooper, or Saint Barbara as I will call her! At first, we just hired her for our day-of coordination, but as the tasks started to pile up, my mom made the smart decision to hire her on as a full-time coordinator. It was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire process! Barbara's calm demeanor, professionalism and positive attitude were the perfect match for this stressful time. She had many great ideas, design supplies and was very organized with To-Do Lists and Timelines that allowed our multi-day celebrations to run smoothly. Her decorations for our Meet and Greet and for the Wedding Day were perfect! I was so pleased with the way everything turned out. On the wedding day, Barbara was there from start to finish. We gave her a few items we wanted at the entrance for the guest sign-in and the display was perfect and really reflected our style! The table settings with burlap runners and small votive candles brought added romance to night. The biggest asset of having Barbara on our team was being able to leave the venue with our friends at the end of the night, knowing that everything was taken care of. All of the vendors had been paid by simply giving Barbara the checks with tips to hand out, all of the leftover food and alcohol was packed up and transported and all of our decorations, including flowers were collected and brought to where they needed to be. I have heard horror stories of couples celebrating their big day only to have to stay late to clean and tie up loose ends. Barbara ensured that all we had to do at the end of the night was walk under the lit sparklers held up by all our guests (which Barbara provided), get on our shuttle bus and enjoy the magical day that had just taken place. I would also like to add that Barbara's assistant was a huge help all weekend! They really worked great as a team to get things done expeditiously and beautifully. Hiring a wedding planner is the smartest thing you can do for your big day, and hiring Saint Barbara with Austin Event Studios is the perfect choice!
when i was planning my wedding i realized "hey, i need help"! As most of us do in this day and age i turned to facebook lol I (jokingly) stated "can i just hire a wedding planner! Low and behold i had a response, and it said yes you can! I was given Shalamar's contact information. My initial thought was, no way! i cant afford a real wedding planner, but when i had my first meeting with Shalamar i was pleasantly surprised. The cost was within my budget for what i needed ( i only needed day of coordination) and my first impression of her was ... comfort... she put my mind at ease, very attentive to what I wanted and how i wanted everything. She asked questions, as many as she had to and took notes! I knew i was going to be ok! Most brides know we want things how we want things and when we cant be there to overlook things it is extremely stressful. Shalamar helped take that stress off my shoulders. She was there front and center for rehearsal and taking notes as to who belongs where and with who. Day of wedding she was at the church even before i was, and made sure flowers were in place and people were in place. My bouquet was wrong, wrong and wrong, well she found the flower lady and had her fix it. easy fix but for a bride its the end of the world lol. When we got to the venue, again, she was already there and everything was in its place. The last minute items i had for her were put where i wanted. She had a schedule and was on it! She made sure everything went as it should, even had her assistant to help, because as you know one person can not be in 2 places at once! She made things even easier for us when she made sure she got our gifts into our vehicle before the end of the night. All in all she was the best facebook response i ever got! I am so very glad i had the opportunity to hire her! She was on point and for a person like me, pick, she was my perfect fit! We hired Hailey to help with day of coordination for our 100-person wedding on March 31, 2018. Even before our wedding day Hailey was so much more than a day-of-coordinator and helped out so much. She spent time thinking about logistics and walking us through what we would need and the things we hadn't considered yet and we were very thankful for her insight. We were particularly impressed with how she handled our rehearsal since we had a very large wedding party (16 members) and a large family to wrangle in. It was clear that she knew what she was doing. There were a few minor hiccups on the day of but overall she is 100% worthy of hiring as a wedding coordinator.
I was a very "hands off" bride as I was accepted into law school after my husband and I already set our wedding day. Emmetria connected us with a fabulous caterer (Queenie's Delectable Delights) and super awesome photographers (Mia & Taffy). I needed a wedding planner that could literally just tell me when to show up and what to do (especially after I learned that my midterms were scheduled to begin the Monday AFTER my wedding weekend). We had a fabulous wedding. I am still getting compliments from our guests on the fact that our ceremony and reception were so well coordinated. I went "bridezilla in reverse" because I was so apathetic about the details of my wedding the closer the date approached. I had to step away from 95% of the planning 60-days out from the date to prepare for my first semester of law school. I do not recommend starting law school and getting married at the same time; but, if you must, your wedding is safe with Emmetria. Also, we live in Houston and Emmetria lives in Austin. She drove to Houston for our initial consultation and after we hired her, I never felt like I was working with an out-of-town wedding planner. Ahh Emmetria, I know I gave her hell, but she was 100% professional from beginning to end. My husband and I had several "freak out" moments but Emmetria let our irrational moments of insanity slide right off her shoulders.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Evelyn helped us plan our wedding and served as a day of coordinator. Working with our limited budget she was able to create a truly memorable night. Her personality and work ethic will set you at ease. She was easy to collaborate with. Everybody knows how strenuous a wedding can be but Evelyn's attention to detail alleviated our stress. This October we will be celebrating our one year anniversary and will be looking back fondly on our special day.
WOW! Where to even begin. Kim was absolutely amazing from the start. She worked with us throughout the whole entire process of our wedding and knew exactly what we wanted - a fall themed wedding. She is a pro at decorating, especially weddings, and had the magic touch on placement and making due with the space we had. Anytime I had any questions at all she would get back to me promptly and would relieve any stress I had. Kim truly has the vision and made my wedding a dream come true. As a bride, we want our day to be perfect, and it could not have been any more perfect than it was thanks to Kim, her assistant Elaine, and the other workers that helped set up. They also provided take down/clean up and day of coordination. I wasn't considering a wedding planner/day of coordinator until we met with Kim and I am so glad we hired her! Everything went smoothly and my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing. We truly got to enjoy our day and have gotten handfuls of compliments on how magical and beautiful our day was. I could go on and on about this company and their employees. I am SO thankful and grateful for everything they did. I would a million times over hire them again and I recommend their services to everyone. Wonderful people, wonderful business - they are 150% there for you every step of the way. Lindsay is amazing at what she does. She was with me every step of the way when planning my wedding. She has lots of connections; so it was easy to fit my budget. My wedding budget was pretty tight. And she managed to find vendors that fit my budget and fit my expectations. She was constantly helping me set up meetings to fit my schedule. The ceremony/reception was beautiful and ran smoothly. Lindsay did everything from helping with décor, coordinating staff, helping me with my bustle and more. She has an amazing heart, is professional and truly loves what she does. Working with Will has been a great experience! Before anything was negotiated he wanted to make sure that we had our vision and he wanted to know everything that he could do to make that vision come true. Working tirelessly at all hours, he negotiated with vendors and caterers on our behalf and was able to procure for us better deals than we could have imagined getting on our own. Planning for your wedding and reception (or any other buisness/corporate event) can be one of the most difficult things when you are not exactly sure how to find the best people for your vision. Will knows exactly how to speak with the vendors and caterers so that we can get the most out of what we put in to the budget. I highly recommend Will Bailey to anyone who is serious about wedding planning or serious about planning any other event and anyone who wants to see their dreams come true. 10/10

Veronica blew me away! I did hourly consultations with her for my wedding, and she brought my attention to details I had never even thought of. Veronica is an excellent communicator, and from the moment I started speaking with her my planning process became smoother. We discussed budget, vendors, layout, staffing, and décor. I was especially impressed with her vendor recommendations, which removed the stress of spending hours online reading reviews and looking through websites.
