Naj is awesome! She is always challenging me and pushing me to "sink deeper" into poses. She also gets excited with me when I try something new and I'm decent at it or when I get deeper into a pose I struggled with when we first started. Was looking for personal instruction as I restarted my yoga practice and came across Khaleyah on Thumbtack. She was very quick to respond with a quote and we scheduled my session. Leslie is one of the best yoga instructors in Houston. Expect excellent vinayasa and hatha experience and knowledge. Her sessions pull together movement, breath, spirituality, and philosophy. Her teaching style accommodates novice to intermediate students and challenges all both physically and mentally. Leslie has a warm and kind personality, so even someone who is returning to the world of yoga feels comfortable and at ease. Guided meditation during savasana is a key draw, and she is also a wealth of knowledge on yoga spirituality. Mix all this with some playful humor and witticisms for a fulfilling and enjoyable yoga experience. If music is important to your experience, I think she has great, emotionally enthralling playlists.

She is not only knowledgeable about what she is doing but doesn't hesitate to share her knowledge with everyone. If you are a beginner she takes her time with you and is always making sure you are doing the pose correctly. if you are more advance she also will challenge you. She makes yoga fun!
Leslie is an amazing instructor! Her yoga lessons flow easy like a dance but expect to be challenged and pampered all at the same time. With her mellow voice and amazing energy , you'll end the class feeling like a real yogi! I've also tried her belly dance lessons in a private party...we had a blast!!

My 9 & 3 yr. olds attended an amazing yoga class with Ameera this summer & they haven't stopped asking when they can go again! She even had the perfect "Finding Dori" theme which all the kids could relate given the movie had recently released & they really had a blast with her innovative & unique poses! She's also amazing with children so that just made this a truly memorable experience for all of us!
