I have been looking for someone to teach my 4 year old daughter how to sing and finally and fortunately, I found Brian. He is very patient with my young daughter Charly, teaching her the basics and how to enjoy singing lessons at a slow and steady pace as to not deter her. Charly has fun and gives him hugs not only during lessons but afterwards. Brian is truly a diamond in the rough and has so much to offer anyone that is looking to learn, get better and fulfill their personal dreams.
I highly recommend April. I started with her about 7 months ago and had no singing experience. When I started I was terrified (singing in front of others has always been my greatest fear) and didn't even think I would be able to sing at my lesson. April set me at ease instantly and I loved it so much I couldn't wait for my next lesson. I had been living under the assumption that singing should be as easy as opening your mouth and letting sound out and was afraid that I was going to not be able to improve the sound of my voice. I never knew all the technique involved. April is so knowledgeable and has helped me with proper technique. She is very skilled at being able to hear exactly what you are doing incorrectly and help you correct it. When I started I couldn't have even come close to hitting a G6, especially without hearing it first, and now the high notes are my favorite part of singing. The best part is I'm gaining more confidence every week!
It has been a pleasure to liste to Joseph teach my child. He is a passionate man for music. I’m thrilled to see her progress in the coming months.
Our daughter has had 2 singing lessons so far, she is loving it and we have been very impressed!
Greg is awesome! I had my first vocal lesson with him today and I feel that I've already learned a lot. First off, he does not charge much, compared to other vocal instructors, which is great because I am trying to save every cent I can. Secondly, Greg is nice, friendly, and cares about your success. Greg is also funny and outgoing. He will definetly help you come out of your shell if you are a shy singer. Greg has helped me by teaching me helpful vocal warm-ups, correct techinque (posture, breathing, etc.), and by practicing songs to improve my vocal ability. Greg knows what he is doing and I would definitely recommend him to anyone. I had so much fun at our voice lesson today and I can't wait for future voice lessons!
Vocal lessons with Belle have been a fruitful and edifying process. She is a seasoned singer who is adept at pinpointing exact problem areas and developing a plan of attack to address them. She noticed immediately into our lessons that I tend to exhale before I sing, essentially cutting my breath in half and leading to breathy vocal delivery. In a short period of vocal exercises, strange-but-effective analogies, and genuine care for helping her students succeed, she managed to help me achieve my goal of feeling consistent and well-rounded as a singer. Outside of her fifteen minutes on national television, she has a solid grasp of who she is as an artist, which helps her instill confidence in her students. She’s also quite accommodating with scheduling, and understands that life gets in the way sometimes. Whether you’re a complete novice or self-proclaimed virtuoso, everyone can benefit from taking vocal lessons, and I can think of no better instructor than Belle.
Maren was amazing. I was terrified to do singing lessons and she was easy to talk and put my fears to rest. I'm excited to continue the lessons!
I started working with Alisa about one year ago on a regular basis and I am incredibly happy! I have never felt more confident and comfortable as a singer. In fact, I am amazed at how much different and improved my singing is. As a teacher she is really patient and has a great way of explaining things in different ways to help me understand the concepts. Highly recommend!
Highly recommended. Beautiful voice and helps you get back into singing.
My two grandchildren (ages 10 and 8) are taking beginner piano lessons from Stephanie. She is patient and kind and very good at helping them understand the basics. She has made the lessons very fun. She is a great motivator, and an excellent piano teacher with a lot of experience. This has been a very rewarding experience for all of us.
I've been taking lessons from Patricia for over a month now. I'm truly impressed with what she has to offer. She makes learning fun and has a great sense of humor! She really knows how to break you out of your shell and help hone your skills. A great teacher!
Bennie is great! Super fun to be around! Going into singing lessons I was worried, didn't want to feel like I was being judged even though that's the reason I'm there. But he didn't make me feel that way at all! It was easy going and has been a blast!
What an excellent find! ...and so close to my home too. I have had one lesson with Charles and am looking forward to the next. I appreciate Thumbtack for putting me in touch with him.
I've always wanted to sing, but I've always felt uncomfortable taking lessons with someone. Kahli has been so comfortable to work with. She's helped me progress quickly, and hasn't made me awkward or self conscious. She's excellent at identifying areas that I need to improve, and helping me implement techniques that correct my struggles. Highly recommended!
I started taking voice lessons from Nanette when I was in my forties. I thought I was too old and that it was too late for me. I had only sung in high school and in church choirs, but always wished that I would have had vocal training when I was younger. Nanette never made me feel like it was too late. She is an excellent teacher and she always made me feel confident in my abilities even when I didn't! I went on to sing my first solos at recitals and have been very involved in choral music. Nanette helped me to have the confidence to be able to make singing a very important part of my life. I have also had the opportunity of working in a home office at Nanette's home so over the past 20 years I have been able to hear her teach many young students, and some older ones. I can hear the progress as the weeks pass and know that she has great skills; not only in vocal techniques, but in building the confidence of her students. She has helped a lot of people. Thanks Nanette!
Was professional, actively listened to the kids goals, worked well with both of them and my son could not stop talking about how excited he was for his piano lesson. Thank you
My daughter has been taking Voice Lessons with Leah for almost two years. Leah has an engaging personality and works well with my daughter. She has helped her increase her vocal range and introduced songs that have challenged her and helped her voice develop. As a teacher Leah is dependable and flexible. She lets her vocal families know her expectations up front and has been a pleasure to work with. My daughter genuinely looks forward to her voice lessons every week.
I knew Jennifer before I started taking voice lessons from her. Although I know several other voice instructors, when I decided to take lessons, I deliberately sought her out over the others because I knew she'd give me instruction that I couldn't get from several of the others. Jennifer knows many different styles of music and can provide instruction in each style, as well as teaching ways that those styles can cross-pollinate with one another. In the first three weeks, I had already noticed a dramatic improvement in my singing. I, of course, still have a lot to learn, but it was heartening to see improvement so quickly. Jennifer has a great enthusiasm for teaching music and I always leave my lessons with a smile on my face because she makes singing fun and exciting.

I provide a customized lesson: 30 mins, 45 mins, or 60 mins (for advanced students), consisting of warm-ups, vocalization and repertoire work. We will also focus on diction and vocal health. We will set and work towards your goals as a performer, whether they be personal or professional, family events or competitions. Classical technique will enhance your singing, whatever the genre.
