I am happy to assist all loving couples in commitment ceremonies, legal marriages, or vows renewals.

Whether you spend a year planning your wedding or throw it together in a month, its easy to forget that you ceremony likely reserves as much or more speaking time for the officiant as either of the parties getting married.
Karen was the single most successful decision we made regarding our wedding. She was attentive, available and so proactive.
Karen started with really digging into why we were getting married. Her request that we start to figure out how to articulate our reasons for getting married was not only helpful for structuring the ceremony but eventually drove every decision we made regarding our wedding.
Karen then worked with us to come up with a list of things we definitely wanted incorporated and a list of things we definitely didnt. She consistently brought ideas to the table and made us extremely comfortable to take any suggestion, brush it aside or ask her to help us go in another direction.
Karen was a constant source of comfort and calm in a business that is often hectic and stressful. She provided us with deadlines, scripts and was always so nice. I cant express what a relief it is to have someone else be so pro-active about a piece of your wedding, when most vendors put so much of the burden on you.
In terms of her actual performance at the wedding, we couldn't have been happier. Our ceremony was so personal, meaningful and went so smoothly! Every time I thought to worry about something (the rings, the temperature of the venue, etc), she was already two steps ahead of me!
After our wedding she has consistently been the most complimented aspect from friends and family. If you havent picked your officiant yet, stop right here, you just found the right one.

Karen was great to work with overall! She was very professional and knowledgeable about all the ins and outs of getting a marriage license in DC, provided sample vows and was super flexible with us creating our own unique ceremony. I would highly recommend her!

Karen, is totally awesome. Being from Texas we were able to communicate and get everything ready for our big day. Very easy to work with, and a wonderful person. Our ceremony is one that we will remember for a very long time. Thank you Karen for making our day special.
