Coach X has been an integral part in the improvement of my overall health and fitness. I really like that he offers group and personal training options. I take group 2x per week and personal sessions 2x per week. Not only have I lost weight but I feel great! 😊 His style of teaching is firm but fun. He has a great personality and provides just the right amount of support to get me to the next level. His workouts are challenging but effective and never boring. I've been to just about every gym in Richmond and several personal trainers with a fraction of the results I've received in less time from Coach X. He's amazing and I highly recommend him to anyone who is serious about improving their health and ready to do the work!
The staff at FSR fitness studio are very encouraging, motivational,conscientious and professional. What I like most about them is they believe in Total Fitness- Mind, Body and Soul. More specifically, I have been working with my personal trainer now for about 3 weeks and he has helped me to create a healthy meal plan, designed effective exercises that I can do at work and tailored a workout plan just for me as I work toward reaching my personal goals. I'm pleased to say that since I have been working with my PT, I'm more energetic and motivated, overall healthy and happy with my new Wellness journey?.

First, Let me just say I love the service Glatter Fitness provides so much I did a video testimonial! I am in the best shape of my life, I am happier, healthier, and stronger. I never really put much stock in strength training (weights and kettlebells) as a method to lose weight for fear it would make me "bulky" but it is actually quite the opposite. I have lost weight, I am stronger than I ever thought possible, and have lowered some health risks, which before starting were an issue for me. Michael always answers questions I have rather knowledgeably. He is far more knowledgeable than some other personal trainers I have encountered and can even provide me a source for the information he gives. If you are willing to put forth the hard work, actually come and work out, and follow his food guide, you will make improvements. I went from doing push ups on my knees to being able to do one hand push ups. I can lift weights in excess of 150 pounds. I have a smaller waist size and far better endurance. As far as accessibility, he does not limit when you can come, which I love. He has 5 class times throughout the day so it allows for flexibility. I don't foresee any time in the future where Glatter Fitness will not be in my life. When I say I am in some of the best shape of my life, I mean it in every way possible. I owe all this to Glatter Fitness!
CJ is an awesome personal trainer. I have several injuries that she was able to work around when she created my workout, and added in some exercise to make the areas strong. She also was able to realize I was bored easily, so the routines vary to keep me interested. I am definitely stronger since starting with her, and have lost 6 pounds in just about 5 weeks!
When you think about some personal trainers you think about what you see in movies, reality shows, and TV in general. What I mean by this is a hulking and aggressive figure who barks instructions and who reminds you more of a drill sergeant than a trainer. When I had my first session with Jacob my mind was instantly put at ease as his soft spoken demeanor and encouraging methods had me doing 2 or 3 more reps than I thought were possible. When taking breaks in between sets Jacob and I talk about our lives and passions and we have built a relationship stronger than just trainer and client. Since I started working with him I have lost multiple inches on multiple problem areas of my body and I am beginning to see the results I have craved for so long that I thought were lost forever. Without writing a novel singing Jacobs praises (which I could do as he is awesome!), I will just say that if you are in the Richmond metro area and are looking to shed some pounds for whatever reason please go see him at Crunch Fitness on Brook Road in Lakeside and I promise you that you will be happy you made that decision every day. He has given me some of my health back as well as my confidence so thank you Jacob!!!
Shanice is very professional & punctual. Her workouts are awesome & just the motivation that I needed to start working out again. They are challenging but she also knows your limits. I've had a few trainers in the past and she is one of the best I've worked with.
I was looking for a personal trainer to help me change my lifestyle. The Sweet Spot (Coach K) is tough-- she pushes you to do more than you think you can... but guess, what, you can! At the same time, she's your biggest cheerleader and doesn't allow you to be too hard on yourself. She sends timely encouragement and truly keeps you motivated. What I really appreciate, is that this is not a "one size fits all" program. Coach K looks for exercises and equipment that is best suited to her client... things that will make you want to continue working out, even if she's not around. I made a great decision in hiring The Sweet Spot. You can too!
I love Mia!! She as an excellent personal trainer. She was very professional and personable. Mia was also very accommodating, being that I have two small children. She adjusted workouts to suit my needs and abilities. She was very supportive and encouraging. I would definitely recommend her as a personal trainer!

Working with Laurel has been such a positive experience! She has been extremely motivating and understanding, while still managing to absolutely push me to my goals. Laurel definitely knows what she's doing and provides help not only in the gym, but also for any of my nutritional needs. I've been an athlete my whole life, and Laurel still challenges me after over a year of working with her. Laurel really takes the "personal" part of "personal trainer" very seriously, she'll do a training regimen that is specific and tailored to your goals!

He helped me plan my meals and gave me one-on-one personalized training and exercises that I could do on my own as well. I worked with Josh as my personal trainer for several years. Josh did a great job with coming up with new routines and workouts to keep things fresh. He always took into account my challenge areas and pushed me when nessecary. I also brought friends with me to sessions and he came up with great partner workouts! Sarah is a wonderful, inspiring trainer. She's extremely knowledgeable, patient, flexible, and reliable. Her workouts are challenging, but she tailors them to fit your goals and abilities so it never seems overwhelming. I appreciate her always sticking with me and keeping me accountable. Even when there are times I know I'm not doing my best she reminds me of my goals without ever being harsh or negative. Wish I could train with her every day!
