We had a very good experience when choosing Radon Mitigation of Maryland. Tim came on time and was very professional during the entire process. He let us know what to expect before everything was installed, which included drilling into our foundation. His price was fair, and I'm happy with our decision to hire him.

A home inspection by the prospective buyer of my home revealed radon present in the home. I advertised on Thumbtack for radon mitigation services. Mr. Reyes responded quickly to my ad for service. He quoted a price in his response. I spoke with Mr. Reyes by phone and he described the company's experience and provided references. The reference I contacted gave a very high review of Mr. Reyes and his company. Mr. Reyes and his team member arrived promptly at the appointed time the next morning, despite it being a rainy day. For this job they drove from VA to Baltimore, MD. The men got to work immediately and continued through to completion in about two hours. Work was done very professionally, no mess. Everything looks proper and very official, labeled and identified. There was no "surprise" change to the quoted price. I am very pleased with the work done by this company and by the professionalism of Mr. Reyes. I would highly recommend them for this work.

Michael was great to work with. Understood the scope of the job, and found another unrelated problem with our sump pump when working on our Radon mitigation. Great catch! Highly recommend.

"We were informed that the EPA recommends all homes be tested once a year for radon. We weren’t sure what it was or how to do it. We contacted RAEES right away and they came out to our home. They left a small box with two E-Perm canisters at our home. The testing period was quick just 48 hours. We were so pleased to have the results emailed to us. Superior job”!

They immediately emailed me back and unlike other companies, they didn't give me a price right away even though they had never been to my house, but set up a time when they would come to my house and review the work that needed to be done. The price they offered me was very reasonable and they were very professional. I was very pleased with the work they did and definitely recommend them.

Thorough evaluation of our home with multiple courses of action provided. The work was well done and the work area was kept neat and clean.

I take a lot of pride in my work, and I truly believe in the golden rule of treating others how I would want to be treated. Therefore, I am very courteous, attentive, and empathetic to your concerns and needs since I am a homeowner myself and have gone through this process. On my inspections, I don't adhere to the standards of practice, I SURPASS them! The only way to perform a true home inspection is to dig deeper than most others and really go the extra mile for my clients. I ALWAYS walk attics (which can be hard for some of the older, heavier inspectors), and I definitely get into crawl spaces when it is safe and where so many issues are usually found. Again, this can be difficult for a lot of inspectors who are likely to just disclaim that the space was not "readily accessible." Also, I am very knowledgeable, but if I don't have an answer, I do my best to find the answer for you. Once you are a client, you are always a client, and I am here for your concerns or questions about home maintenance and such for life. I love the "CSI-type" investigation process! A home has a lot of stories to tell if you know how to listen. A home inspector like myself is trained to "listen" to the house and follow all of its clues. For example, just the other day I had a property with a newer roof on only one side to the house...curious...So, I went into the bedroom on that side of the house and noticed the ceiling texture was slightly different than the rest of the house. This makes me wonder if there was a major ceiling repair. I went into the attic and sure enough, there was a different colored insulation in that portion of the attic, and the roof had some wood patches in it. I then started looking for moisture damage in the original roof rafters, but found none. This led me to believe the cause of the repair was not directly related to water infiltration...then I remembered the huge, broken looking tree in back of the house and finally deduced that a branch had probably broken loose during a storm and fell through the roof causing the need for roof repair, and subsequently, ceiling repair from the storm water coming in. See what I mean? You have to "listen" to the house and follow all of its "whispers."
