Eric and Jayden came out to install a Nest thermostat, to replace an older Carrier thermostat I had in my gas furnace HVAC unit. They were very nice initially, but about 10 mins into the job they said they had another job and had to go to it and that they didn't know my job involved rewiring to accommodate the new Nest thermostat. They then proceeded to tell me that they couldn't do my job anyway because the Nest thermostat was incompatible with my system and that I needed to order a new thermostat. They kept repeating this for the next 40 minutes, even supposedly calling their friends up to confirm that the system was supposedly incompatible. They then demanded payment for their time of the $100 we had agreed to, for installation of the thermostat and they wouldn't leave without payment, even though the thermostat was not connected or working and I still had no heat in my house.
I ended up doing the simple rewiring myself (took me a total of 20 minutes) and the Nest thermostat has been working just fine for a few weeks now. I reached out to them to ask for a refund since I would have expected HVAC techs to know how to wire up a Nest thermostat, but I had to do it myself. I never heard from them again. If I ever do get a refund, I'll remove this review, but I can't recommend this company as they don't seem to know what they are doing if they can't install a simple thermostat. I would caution others to look elsewhere at more experienced pros before considering these guys unfortunately.
