Awesome working with Chris! My daughter has tried piano lessons twice in the past and her interests always fell off, but with Chris she's motivated to even PRACTICE without being told. I'm loving it!!

I am a piano, cello and music theory teacher. I have a BA in Music (Cello Performance, Minor in Piano) earned from a music college in Russia. I am highly professional. Since 2010, my students participated in over 25 recitals and concerts at College of William and Mary, Crosswalk Community Church, King's Way Church, Tabernacle Baptist Church, Greenfield Senior Living, Patriot's Colony, and many other venues. My students also participated in The National Federation of Music Clubs for the last 4 years in a row. All of them received superior rating, and four of them already received Golden Cups. I have been judging piano solo events for the last 3 years. Our recent performing project was playing in the Bard's Market at the Virginia Shakespeare Festival. Three of my students did an exceptional job entertaining the audience by playing a classical piano repertoire. I also provide wedding/special occasion entertainment (cello, piano, and violin) as a trio, duet, solo in any combination.

Private and group violin, viola, cello, and piano lessons are offered. Beginners through advanced students are taught in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

I can teach jazz, acoustic and electric bass as well as beginning guitar, violin, viola, and cello. I have a music education degree from Old Dominion University.

We have teachers in our store for most instruments, including guitar, bass, drums, flute, clarinet, sax, trumpet, trombone, violin, viola, cello and voice. Our teaching environment is relaxed and kid friendly, and our teachers shape their lessons to the musical tastes of their students. We'll get you started by finding out where you're trying to go and give you the tools to get there, so you can play music and have fun! Ask around, you'll hear good things about Moe's Music!

I'm offering in-home, private cello lessons for students of all ages. I provide a creative, patient, and individualized instruction.

I give lessons on piano, voice, viola, violin, and cello. I can teach all ages and levels from beginner to advanced.

I am an experienced string player (violin, viola, cello). I can teach private lessons for beginners (violin, viola, cello), intermediates (violin, viola, cello), and advanced (violin). I offer theory help for students who are thinking of taking music in high school and college. I also offer vocal training and elementary piano lessons. I will travel to you or I can conduct the lessons out of my home. I have been involved in music since 1994 and have taken college courses in music including theory and composition classes, vocal lessons, piano courses, and played in the college orchestra for four years. I believe that any person interested in playing an instrument has the ability to do so with proper training. My motto is, "A good teacher knows when to push, a great teacher knows when to stop". Students will grow in their own time. You polish them like diamonds and eventually they shine.

How hard is it to learn to play the cello?

Taking cello lessons can be a rewarding experience for students young and old. As with any instrument, how hard it is to learn to play cello depends on the practice and dedication you put into it. It’s true that some people are naturally more adept at learning instruments than others, but with lessons and a daily commitment, you too can learn to play the cello.
