Theodore Eftimiades is a very thoughtful , thoughtful teacher. He went to great measures to accommodate Matthew Hornbuckle's busy schedule and his so that Matt could come to lessons. I would recommend him as a English teacher, and of good character. Sincerely, Gerene Lombardini, Nanny for Matthew Hornbuckle

I took Japanese lessons from Shigeki-san when he was teaching at the Experimental College at the University of Washington. The classes were always a mix of students at various levels of Japanese, but Shigeki-san always found a way to include everyone and kept the classes interesting for those at a more advanced level, without overwhelming the beginners. He is a kind, thoughtful and patient teacher. I would recommend him for anyone wishing to make progress with their Japanese.

I'm from Brazil, so English isn't my first language. I moved here with my husband and I needed an extra help with English, especially because I want to become a lawyer in America. I needed a native teacher who could help me, give me tips that I can't find on books, and fight with me on this big challenge! Then, I found Good Speaking and I love to have private lessons in my home, so I don't need to drive and to get the traffic, and I can also choose the best hour and day for me. It's being a great experience, I have a lot of books to work on, I received a plan according to my goals and every difficult that I feel with the studies, I know they are there to help me. They also helped me looking for volunteers jobs and a way that I could practice more my speaking. They just want the best for you and to help you reaching your goals. I'm learning a lot of things that I've never studied before, they rock!

If you want to learn Japanese language, I can help you. I can teach from beginners to professional and advanced level of speaking, reading, writing, and listening proficiency. Teaching is one of my passions.

I am currently on hiatus from the classroom. I taught Spanish at high school and junior high level for 15 years before moving to Switzerland. I took up French before moving to Switzerland and continued for two years while living in Geneva. I had a son upon returning to the Seattle area, and I am currently a stay-at-home mom looking to reenter the work force.

I teach English and Spanish in a very innovative and fun way with non-traditional methods. I am experienced in working with businesses interested in developing their workforce.

I have over 10 years of experience in translating and interpreting in Japanese and English. I have worked as a Japanese-English translator and interpreter for schools in Japan, the World Affairs Council in Seattle and for individual Japanese and American businessmen. I have also been a Japanese language tutor at Seattle University's learning assistance program for over a year. Furthermore, I have taught a diverse age group of students in both Japan and the US. I am half Japanese, born in Honolulu, Hawaii and growing up in Hokkaido, Japan. I lived in Japan for about 15 years attending a Japanese school and an International school. I am currently a senior at Seattle University majoring in international business with a focus on Chinese language and culture. I can also speak, read and write Mandarin Chinese at a working proficiency level.

I am from Colombia, and I like to help people learn about my language and my culture. I am going to teach you about basic grammar to the most common slang in Spanish.

I am a WA certified teacher. I have taught both international schools and a private school in this area. I also own a Japanese language school business. I have many years of experience working with children in wide age range. I am flexible and can modify a program to fit your needs.

I speak fluent Cantonese and Mandarin. Having English as my second language, I have good grammatical skills and am able to communicate efficiently with it. I can provide my service for anyone from all ages who wants to learn Chinese, English grammar or elementary math. I am a dance major in college, and I would love to teach ballet/creative dancing for kids. I am also a reliable person for house, dog and babysitting. I get along with children very well.

I am Aeri Kim, s soprano voice teacher who has fair amount of voice teaching experience in classical opera singing and the musical theater singing. I can teach from the very beginner to the advanced singer who wants to go to the college in voice performance or musical theater.

I’ve had experience tutoring students of all ages in multiple subjects (math, science, reading comprehension, and foreign languages). I also speak Japanese, Korean, and French, and I can provide tutoring in all three languages if needed. I love to teach and help others. Looking forward to meeting you!
