Chris Korzin is an excellent teacher and drummer. As I was starting from no drumming background he made me comfortable and opened me up to learn all the many aspects of drumming. His teaching methods are great for all experience levels! As I reach my 5th year of drumming he still challenges and inspires me. Chis has been instrumental in my music career allowing me to take the ideas in my head and convey them through my drumming! No doubt, the choice for drum lessons in the Tacoma area!

Jason is an outstanding drum teacher. I have been taking lessons with him for a year now. He has taken me from a complete music beginner with no discernable rhythm to the point where I can read the music, HEAR the time of the music, play all kinds of neat rhythms and play my full drum kit along to songs. Jason is organized, passionate and focused on making sure you become the best drummer you can be.

I had Ed Mays as a drum teacher through most of high school and he was a very good teacher. He was caring about me as his pupil and did the best he could to make me into a better drummer all while making it fun.He is very calm and extremely trustworthy. He also taught me things other then just physical drumming. He taught me some amounts of drumming history and tons about music in general. If you want drum lessons he is definitely recommended.

I took percussion lessons from Sam. I appreciated his desire to teach what I wanted to learn - and especially his ability to keep up as that changed from lesson to lesson! Experimenting with a raft of different percussion instruments and styles was key to my deciding which ones I wanted to focus on and which ones I didn't enjoy at all. I also appreciated his ability to debug what was going wrong with my technique and to brainstorm drills that not only improved my playing but that I also enjoyed. Without a doubt Sam gets my highest recommendation if you're looking to learn percussion!

Chris is a dedicated, creative drum teacher who knows his stuff! My 10 year old son loves learning with him, and has made steady progress since starting lessons about 6 months ago. Chris emphasizes developing good habits from the start, which has given my son an excellent foundation on which to build. One thing I really appreciate about Chris is that he's both firm, and totally supportive and encouraging. He also has a great sense of humor! I wholeheartedly recommend hiring Chris for drum lessons.

I really enjoy music lessons with Jacob, I've had several teachers and he is by far the easiest to work with and to learn from. He's a great guitar player and keeps the lessons fun, he also does a good job at making sure that what I'm practicing has something to do with what I'm interested in. I've had teachers in the past that did not make guitar interesting, Jacob is great, well worth the money! I'm much better than I was before I started with him.

My simple mission is to have students excel at drumming and develop a lifelong joy and passion for the instrument and music. Happy drumming to you! Warm regards, Glenn Thilman Testimonial: "My son started playing drums when he was 15. It was his first experience playing an instrument. I thought he was a typical teenage boy wanting to be in a rock band and figured the interest would die, but somehow, Glenn got him hooked and he fed that interest and developed my son's talent. Over the three years of lessons, his skill and confidence grew quickly." -- Lisa (Sept. 28, 2011)
