Jan is a great piano teacher. She's also really good with kids. My kids have been enjoying her lesson. Her price is really reasonable. I'm glad to find her.

We unfortunately only attended one of Bryan's drum lessons .(only because my four year old wouldn't practice). Bryan was great! He even had on Aladdin, upon us arriving which made my daughter extra comfortable. It was a great ice breaker for them to talk about. I would absolutely recommend Bryan to anyone needing drum lessons ages kids to adult.

I’ve been studying guitar with Mary for about two months now, and I can’t say enough good about her. tl;dr: Mary will understand and support your goals for guitar playing, and she is beyond capable of helping you reach those goals. First, Mary is very supportive and cognizant of my goals as a musician. If I had a song in mind that I wanted to learn, I’m absolutely sure she would help me learn it. As a beginner, however, I don’t have anything in mind and happily play the tunes she gives me. Speaking of tunes, she has so many on hand. Every week she gives me new sheets with songs that cover the technique we work on. Mary’s extensive lesson repertoire certainly helps fulfill my goal of expanding my musical vocabulary to more artists and genres, all while developing my skills on guitar. Similar to her supportiveness, Mary is also very understanding yet insistent. As a busy young adult, on average I work eight to ten hours a day and follow a daily workout regimen to boot. While my goal is to practice guitar at least 60 minutes per day, on many days I don’t have time and fall short. Despite less-than-ideal practice, Mary accommodatingly works around the progress I make (or don’t make). At each lesson I can consistently expect help with last week’s trouble areas in addition to new material — Mary sure likes to press on. Can you blame her? There’s technique to master and songs to learn! :) On her teaching style, Mary is very creative. She customizes her lessons to the individual, and — I really like this about her — she tells me exactly what she wants to cover at the next two or three lessons. This way I know what she’ll teach, and I have the opportunity to discuss what I want to learn (e.g. scales, barre chords, etc.). With decades of guitar study under her belt, she can teach anything. By “teach” I mean make you really understand. She has countless analogies, anecdotes, and demonstrations for helping you learn or improve any technique. She’ll try things until it “clicks” for you. Teaching creativity like Mary’s is an invaluable skill that will undoubtedly help any student she has. To end on a light note, Mary truly is a spectacular musician. Her playing is effortless and always a joy to hear. She makes even the beginning things I’m working on sound musical and fun to play. Mary is a gem of a teacher, and I can’t recommend her enough.

My 10 yr old daughter came to Ryan as a true beginner and left her first lesson playing 2 songs! She went into the lesson very unsure of herself, and left feeling confident and successful. Ryan's patience and easy-going friendliness was what made my daughter love working with him. His talent and outside-of-the-box teaching methods were what made me happy as a mom. We got more than our money's worth and I would highly recommend Ryan's lessons to anyone. Lessons for my daughter lasted 9 months and only ceased because Ryan relocated to another state. Our loss! Excellent teacher!

Our experience at Studio Savage has been fabulous. My daughter asked me for violin lessons and we couldn't find a better match. Theresa is very patient and explains very well to my daughter what she need to practice during the week. The lessons are good and fun, some times lessons involve games than after a few weeks transform into songs on the violin. Also, my daughter is catching fast on notes and reading music while she plays. Most important, my daughter is still exited about the violins, I am happy because she is doing progress, and we both love the teacher.

My daughter has been taking drum lessons with chris for over a year. She is only 9 and she loves it! Chris is great with her when it comes to taking the time she needs to learn things and how to read music ect. He also helped me get her a great starter kit for her to have at home. Lessons is something that she looks forward to on a weekly basis and its worth every penny! I wouldnt want my daughter to get lessons any where else he is great with kids and their learning styles and needs!

Ken was able to create a teaching method designed to teach a visually impaired student. I'm amazed on how simple yet effective his methods are. Lessons were FUN yet productive. I can't emphasize enough the value of having a professional recording studio/engineer/teacher offered through Ken Fordyce and Mirror Sound Studios.

Elaine has been teaching 3 of my children piano lessons for 3 years now. She has since added a 4th. She is patient and encouraging yet firm. She makes sure they strive to do their best and teaches strong technique. She also include improv, ear training, and chords. Rather than just sticking to the books, Elaine is constantly coming up with fun, creative ways to reinforce the theory the kids are learning.

Luke taught my son Garret for over 6 years. Garret, who is highly dyslexic, benefited from Luke's method of teaching, Luke's patience and overall wonderful personality. Luke is a magician with teaching kids on the piano--wonderful. I also referred Luke to some of my adult friends who enjoyed taking lessons from him. Further should you need an extremely accomplished and wonderful entertainer for an evening even-hire Luke-You’ll marvel at his talent on the piano! Lessons or entertainment with LUKE—it not to be missed! Emily & Mike Laurelhurst

David O'Suna has taught my son for almost 2 years. He is patient, but knows exactly how to push my son to keep trying and keep improving. David has obviously played guitar all his life and is able to also inspire my son to what he can do with this instrument. We've enjoyed our lessons with him. He is also available to answer questions if a part of the lesson wasn't understood, or doesn't sound right at home. That way we don't keep practicing it wrong all week. Real dedication to making sure the lessons can be fun, picks songs my son will like!

Our 12 year old son has been taking drumming lessons from Chris Pollina for over a year. As parents we were truly amazed when we heard real rhythm coming out of the basement pretty quickly after the lessons started. Chris has built a great rapport with our son who enjoys the lessons and is continually challenged. Chris is a talented drummer and instructor. He comes to the lessons on time and fully prepared. He has a solid method to his teaching that develops the very important basics and builds upon them to keep the students excited and progressing. We can wholeheartedly give our recommendation Chris.

I really enjoy music lessons with Jacob, I've had several teachers and he is by far the easiest to work with and to learn from. He's a great guitar player and keeps the lessons fun, he also does a good job at making sure that what I'm practicing has something to do with what I'm interested in. I've had teachers in the past that did not make guitar interesting, Jacob is great, well worth the money! I'm much better than I was before I started with him.

I have known Masood personally and professionally for over 35 years. He is an extremely patient and hardworking individual. I have had the opportunity to work with him and have referred students to him on numerous occasions while my niece has been taking piano lessons from him for the past year or so and has made excellent progress. I would definitely recommend Masood for anyone’s music endeavor.
