I've worked with Bindia in the past at Microsoft and have always valued her as an effective leader at the company. Recently, I had the pleasure of being in one of her yoga classes and her approach to yoga and how it has impacted her life in such positive ways is inspiring. I have even greater respect for Bindia as a person, leader and mentor.
Jeff is natural awesome teacher! He brings into his class his passion and knowledge of yoga. His class is powerful but at the same time loving and calming reflecting his compassion into his teaching and students. He creates an energetic flow of postures that will take you into a calmness and peaceful state. One you practice once with Jeff, you would want more! Kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity fully describes Jeff as a teacher. I have been practicing yoga for eight years with many different teachers and styles and love Jeff's class! Thank you for sharing your passion!
Hien's yoga classes are amazing. They are usually a slower pace and very healing. She pays a lot of attention to everyone's specific needs. Her class that I took was wonderful for mind and body restoration and rejuvenation.
Gina is a phenomenal yoga instructor. I really appreciate her focus on doing postures right, being mindful of the body, not just going through the motions just for the sake of aerobics. I've done yoga for a few years; I was familiar with most poses I needed, but it felt like I haven't made any progress for a while. Gina gave me exactly what I needed: lots of small adjustments in postures that I wasn't doing quite right, but was not aware of. Feels like I made enormous progress. I also love Gina's ability to seamlessly adjust the course of the practice to address her students' problem areas. She has a deep understanding of the body, and also the spiritual aspects of yoga. Her classes are always a highlight of my day.
A yoga class with Jai is a real treat and is a great way for me to start the day. Her classes are calm, focused, appropriately challenging and fun. I attend her classes whenever my work schedule allows.
I've come to the strong center since it opened. It's a pleasant private space. Those of us who are jocks can exercise without waiting for equipment to be free. Those of us who want to exercise without the embarrassment of displaying our out of shape bodies (me) get space, good equipment anda women's only space with equipment. The vibe is relaxed. There is a big yoga room for several types of classes. I'm reccomending David as the best personal trainer I've had in 15 years. He's as good as a Physical Therapist for injury rehabilitation.
What I love about Crissy is that she is attentive and diverse in her yoga teachings. If a pose is too hard or too easy, she always has an alternate pose to show. She also encourages me to challenge myself and to listen to my body.
Rachel is an amazing yoga teacher. Her classes (Purna Yoga level 3) are active yet they calm the mind. Her words are insightful making it more than just physical activity. Her extensive training and experience keep students safe in class. My favorite part of class is when we get to "play" and safely explore new or challenging poses. Hopefully I'll see you in class soon!
I have noticed a difference in my flexibility & balance as I get older. After reading about the benefits of yoga , I decided it's time for me to sign up. My first attempt at yoga classes failed, but my next attempt with Cecilia at INCLUDEYOGA was perfect. Cecilia is very patient and corrects my body positions. After only 8 classes, I can see a difference in my flexibility & balance. My husband attends class with me and has gained an inch of his height back. Yoga will always be a part of my life. I highly recommend "Hatha Yoga Basic Fundamentals" and "Yoga for ease/next 48 Yrs."
Outstanding community and studio that offers both yoga and massages ! Located in interbay it's a must try for any of the classes
I make it a point to try and go to every class Athena teaches. I smile my way through the flow and the uncomfortable poses. Her assists take my next yoga class deeper into the postures. Always appreciated.
Liz is an excellent yoga instructor. It is clear she has been practicing for a very long time. Her classes are A+!
I hired Josh to do a weekly private yoga class for elderly residents in my adult family home. He is very soothing and adapts his routines to their level of mobility and cognitive ability. He did such a great job that I also hired him to do a private session for myself weekly. He is very professional and takes time to correct and make sure you are doing poses in a healthy way for your body while also pushing your limits. I would definitely recommend his services to others.
Pamela is an incredibly inspirational and knowledgeable yoga instructor! From the opening Dharma Talk to the closing Meditation, her words and flow bridge mind and body leaving me refreshed and centered. She was able to quickly assess my practice and meet me at that level while safely improving my poses through her attention to detail. It’s obvious Pamela cares about her practice and those she is leading allowing me to always look forward to the next session!
I completed an RYT 200 Hour Training with Greg and the Himalayan Yoga Darshan. Greg's teaching inspired and motivated me to achieve many things outside of my previous range of capability. With an unperturbed belief in the capabilities and potential of each individual, as well as the knowledge of what works, I felt that I was in competant hands that were able to guide me to the next evolution of my practice and life. Greg's teaching took my practice to the next level, and he gave me a breadth of yoga knowledge that privided the foundation for the teacher I am today. Because of how he trained me, I am able to teach yoga from a place of feeling, sensing what is needed in each situation. As such, classes are never the same. Yet at the same time, he gave me a firm foundation in understanding the mechanics and anatomy of the body, which I convey to my students. I also had the privilege of learning some aspects of Thai massage from Greg which has been a valuable part of my assist methodology. What I learned in my practice and training took me deeper into my body and mind, and gave me the power to surpass previous obstacles. It is a great gift to have received the knowledge to be able to share with others, and I continue to grow and learn all the time. Thank you Greg!
I have taken various yoga classes from Ellie Luna. She's bright and engaging and very skilled at yoga. She led me in a wonderful flow class that stretched and strengthened every part of my body. Her instructions are clear and coherent, and she pays personal attention to every student. After doing yoga for 30 years, I was finally able to stand on my head for the first time thanks to Ellie's help and support! I recommend her highly.
Anu is an excellent teacher and she brings in meditation during the yoga session. There is a beautiful mindfulness and serenity in her classes. I look forward to continuing my lessons with her.
Michael is awesome! He's a very calming presence and helps you feel very comfortable in his class. He helped me see yoga as an exercise for your whole person- body and spirit. I recommend him to everyone who is searching for a private teacher or a class.
