Amazing food, you have to get the chicken salad!! We had a HUGE party for a corporate event and it went of without a hitch!
This was for my granddaughters Sweet 16 Birthday Party. We had about 30 guests and we rented a hall. I needed someone to help setup the tables prepare the food and make sure food and drinks didn't run out. I had never thrown a large party like this before and didn't really know what to expect. Jessica came in and asked me some questions as to what I wanted and then took over. She was very professional and very quick. The food and drinks were prepared and displayed perfectly in a buffet style. She even assisted with the birthday cake letting the birthday girl cut the 1st piece and served to the other guests. She also cleaned everything and had the left over food packeged up. I am so glad I hired Jessica and so thankful to her for everything she did. The party wouldn't have been as great if it weren't for her and I certainly wouldn't have been able to relax and enjoy the festivities.
The Great Surprisal was hired to be our event coordinator as well as serving as our emcee. This is an annual dinner/fundraiser for a small non-profit. Amelia worked with us from the beginning finding a caterer, hiring musicians, working with venue, coordinating volunteers for our silent auction as well as other parts of our evening. We increased our net income by over 25%! We had used the venue before but with the creativity and cost conscious Great Surprisal we had a totally transformed 'gym' from years gone by. Past attendees commented on the greatly improved environment, excellent food and the overall sense of a better-planned event. We will work with The Great Surprisal again and encourage others to do so. Last year we worked with The Great Suprisal as an emcee only. Customers should definitely check out 'Gina' as an addition to a party or event. We are very pleased with The Great Surprisal's work ethic and creativity of working on a limited budget.
Nola and her staff did such a fantastic job catering our wedding. From helping us plan to menu, providing a delicious tasting, answering questions about logistics and dietary restrictions, and providing stellar food and customer service to the day of the wedding, Nola and her team went above and beyond to make our day special. Our main entrée was fig balsamic glazed wild BBQ salmon with mango kiwi salsa. I wish I could make something this delicious myself, because it was amazing. Our salad consisted of organic mixed greens with julienned apple, shaved fennel, herbed crouton, and a really light but creamy bleu cheese dressing. They even made a separate salad with a different dressing for our dairy-free guests. The guest (and groom’s) favorite was our side: Beecher’s mac and cheese. So good! It was very stormy the day of our wedding, and a lot of things went wrong for us. Nola and her team went beyond the call of duty and helped out where they shouldn’t have needed to. They kept an incredibly positive attitude the entire time, conversed with guests, and helped reassure an incredibly stressed-out bride. The only complaint I heard from any guests was the portion-control at the buffet, but with a buffet we personally feel that was probably necessary. I had been concerned that people would take more than their fair share and leave guests at the end of the line with no food, and I’m sure that was the whole reason for starting out with smaller portions. I also heard that guests were invited to come back for seconds once everybody had been served, so I’m sure everyone got enough food. Overall, we were more than satisfied with Nola, her team, and the food. The food was everything we had hoped for, and the service was outstanding. We recommend them to anybody planning a wedding or other event.
We worked with Shelby for almost a whole year to plan our wedding. We were out of state for most of the time, but she was great with using Skype and keeping a timeline of tasks. We would have regular meetings to go over ideas or plans, but she was always available and answered in a timely manner if we had a question outside of our meetings. The most important aspect is that she really listened to what we wanted and the day turned out better than I could have imagined! Shelby made the whole process stress free and we didn't have to worry about anything the day of. I would highly recommend her for any party/wedding planning or decorating/designing needs.

I contacted Joy on very short notice for a company Christmas party. She quickly furnished me with several great menus to choose from. We did a non hosted event, and I probably only had to interact with a total of 20 minutes to plan the entire event. The food was great, and the portions were very large. My employees were very happy. I absolutely recommend Joy Max Catering.
Kristina did an amazing job with our office happy hour! She created a custom menu of 'spooky' themed drinks for Halloween that our staff enjoyed a lot. They were all delicious! She was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful during the preparation process. As the internal event planner, I hardly had to do anything. The cost of the event was also very reasonable. We will ABSOLUTELY be bringing Kristina back for future events!
Where do I begin....my Son and his beautiful Bride had the most Spectacular wedding this past Saturday July 25th, 2015. We have been working on this wedding with Kari Morgan on very tight time-line and also budget. Kari was able to pull it all together and exceed our expectations!! This was a outdoor wedding and unfortunately it was the first rainy weekend Seattle had experienced all Summer....however Kari was able to calm all of our nerves and transformed the outdoor setting with more tents and utilize part of the indoor facility. She never missed a beat pulling it all together, and it turned out breathtaking!! Our guests were in awe of the location that Kari selected, and the beautiful decorations and flowers throughout the wedding. Her staff was also incredible to work with and they made sure every detail was covered during the entire wedding. I'm good at planning my own events but I wanted to be present for my daughters graduation party, as this event only comes once. I didn't want to worry about all the details like are the beverages and food being refilled, or even when the dog got out...she went and chased her down so we didn't have too. Angela was able to come in and take over so I was able to enjoy the day with all of our friends and family without having to worry about a thing. Outstanding job and will use her again!!

My first baby shower was hosted by PBB on November 8th 2015. This event was beyond what I expected. The venue was amazingly decorated, the food was delicious, games were fun, and all my guest received messages from one of Bernice’s staff. Bernice made sure the details of this event was handled without putting any stress on me. I picked out the decorative colors and Bernice took over everything else. I was included in the shower invitations which was a fun girls night full of laughs. The photographer Bernice hired for my event made it a priority to take photos throughout the night and mailed me a CD of the portraits as soon as she edited everything. The venue was a great choice for the size of guest I expected. I wish i could include the photos from my shower, I would highly recommend Plushed By Ber-Ber for all event planning needs.
Matthew Love made our wedding amazing. He listened to our desire to give a spiritual message wedding, rather than religious message wedding. We had guests from many faith backgrounds and we wanted our union message to respect all in the room, but be personal to us. Matthew has education and training in spirituality that made him the perfect officiant for our day. Matthew knows how to emcee and his public speaking was fantastic. He was able to bring all these people together and give a message in our union that everyone enjoyed. We recommend him highly for your wedding, or union event. He is all class and sure knows how to dress for the event. He made our event very classy.
My organization hired Yellow Bird for an event of about 100 guests, just appetizers, and they were fantastic. Gwen and her team arrived on time and were very professional, the food was delicious, and they passed around the appetizers to guests which was an unexpected treat. We would definitely hire Gwen again, fantastic from start to finish!
They are reliable and get the job done. Jennifer will meet before the event and make sure she gets any additional instructions. For our event, we added some lights around a patio railing that was outside but visible from the event.
Hannah was the day-of-coordinator for my wedding in Sept, 2015. She was professional, friendly to all (guests, family, and vendors), and always calm. I had a large wedding, with a huge wedding party, and there a few decorating mishaps along the way. But Hannah dealt with everything with wit, poise, and firmness. I would hire for her any and all events!
