We hired Proman Services for painting, pressure washing, cleaning gutters and window cleaning at a rental house we own. Did an amazing job, easy to work with and did in a timely manor. We are currently working with them on more things at our home that need to be done. Highly recommend them!
Dennis installed some laminate flooring and baseboard in our home recently. He did a very nice job, including resetting the toilet. Dennis is very skilled and careful in his work. He was there on time with his own tools and ready to work each day. I don't think we could have found those skills at that price many other places. Thanks Dennis!
Axel did a drywall repair job to patch up some holes that were made by an electrician installing a light switch. There were 10 3" diameter holes that needed texturing as well, and he did a flawless job. Definitely will use him again in the future.
Amazing Doctor LLC's Serghei responded quickly to my on-line request for estimates for some vinyl siding repair work. After coming to terms, he began the work promptly, and finished promptly. He answered my questions, cheerfully. He cleaned up the area well when he was done. I would hire him again. Serghei is a very nice man who does quality work.
He helped me finish a project that had been left incomplete by a previous handyman. The project involved ripping out bad drywall work and re-doing it. I look forward to having him come back to finish the exterior work around the new window.
The project included reattaching gutter and cleaning the roof from moss. It was very easy to deal with the contractor, gave a fair quote, completed on schedule and provided a good service. Will hire him again
Dan and his crew renewed my faith in contractors. I had Dan come out and estimate painting my house and staining my deck. I knew it was going to be a tough job as we were going from a very light color to a very dark. It would also be tough as the previous contractor did a very poor job staining the deck. Dan was very knowledgeable and his quote was reasonable so I went for it. I am elated with the job these guys did. They pressure washed, scraped, caulked and sanded as needed. They didn't leave a huge mess as a by product as some contractors do. The paint job is flawless and doesn't show any of the previous paint which was hard do to the color change. The stain on the deck is seamless even underneath ( I asked for this due to mistakes by previous contractor ). These guys also stuck to their schedules as much as they could due to bad weather. Any time there was a change in schedule, it was communicated right away. I can't ask for any more than that. I feel Dan and his crew lived up to their name; Extraordinaire Painting. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.
Really happy with the results. The cost was fair, and was about half what another contractor on Thumbtack tried to charge me.
Robert, owner of Hawaiian Construction, is amazing. Our townhouse had (what turned out to be) a long-standing roof leak which we only found out about because of a water spot on our LR wall/ceiling. Our association had folks out to tear out part of our wall and ceiling and fix the roof. Then they had 2 bidders come out for the recon work. Robert was the 3rd bidder - and the first to mention that there was obvious water damage at the base of the wall and probably mold behind it. For the next 2-3 months we fought with our association to get mold testing done, with Robert on our side telling us what the association should be doing. Finally the association relented, did the mold test...and we found mold up and down the wall. Without Robert's constant insistence and help, our association would have just sealed up the wall with the mold in it. As to the recon work, Robert insisted that painting just the ceiling and the 2 walls affected by the mold mitigation would not be enough. None of the inside walls had been painted in 13 years and he said (and many others have since agreed) that the other walls would not match the newly painted ones, even if using computerized paint matching. His quote called for all the walls in the "line of sight" to be painted, which ended up being about 2/3 of the house. His bid ended up being lower than the one the association got from a different contractor to just paint the ceiling and 2 walls!!! Robert and his team did a tremendous job on the recon work itself. They finished earlier than expected, did some extra work we asked for at a very good price, and did a better job than we could have hoped. Robert is simply a quality person. Every step of the way he only wanted us to get quality work done, regardless of who ultimately did the work. Probably 10 or 12 times during the bidding process he said "Write this down - make sure that whoever does the work does it thus and so way, otherwise you're going to have issues later on." His focus was always on doing things the right way. He's incredibly honest and candid - he'll tell you what needs to be done, but always in a way that let's you know he cares about you and getting the job done right. Robert and his wife Julie have been an absolute dream to work with. Any future work we need done, he'll be the first one we call. And I would recommend him and his company to any and everyone.
Prestige Gardens and his owner Cully deserves my highest recommendation for the following reasons - Ownership: Cully owned the project to deliver on time and with quality Engagement: He kept me fully transparent of the progress and engaged me to suggest changes and even ask opinions on choice of materials. Quest for Quality: He looked around and identified the few things that he would like to do to ensure overall bigger value. He trimmed my backyard trees to the right size even when it was not in scope. He also indicated his displeasure on a few overgrown vegetation in my front yard (totally unrelated work) and offered to trim them without bothering for extra money. Timeliness: Our original estimate was within 7 to 10 days, he completed in 7 days. Proper closure: Post project during the walkthrough we identified a few gaps. While some were by myself, a few were noted by him. With trust, I paid him the second and the last payment but he did appear again a few days later to close the gaps. This included buying some extra materials (pavers, glues, sand) as well as labor. Professionalism: He is the only person amongst 6 other contractors I talked to, who provided me a proper hand drawn sketch with exact sizes, and a detailed breakdown of the cost. His talk and all dealings were sincere and professional. He and his crew were meticulous and hard working. Can work in uncertainties: Our project included dismantling a deck and we were not sure of the ground below it. With certain assumptions we came up with the original estimate. After dismantling the deck, we found that there was hard concrete below and big roots under the soil and concrete. This needed extra work and material. He discussed with me the contingency plans but kept costs in control and did not charge me an extra penny.
Kenny did some repairs on our roof and siding. While up on the roof he repaired some additional smalls issues proactively, which we very much appreciated. He was on time and stayed within the proposed budget.
It has been a pleasure to work with Neggassi on our home remodel. We purchased a home from 1979 that was well loved and needed all new trim, baseboards, window sills, etc. Many of the walls are not perfectly straight and neither are the floors making it difficult to line everything up. Neggassi’s carpentry skills aretop notch! His quality of work and detail made it so you can’t even tell the walls aren’t straight. I would highly recommend Neggassi as a master carpenter. You will be very pleased with the results. He is also extremely responsive, easy to work with, and puts the customer’s needs first. We will be using him again.
We waited almost too long to get the exterior of our rental house painted and were discouraged to find other contractors were either too expensive or couldnt do the work before fall. But we called Chuck and he came to the house within a couple days, gave us an estimate that was extremely reasonable and started the work the next day. He did all the necessary pressure washing and caulking and a great deal of priming as the paint was essentially gone in several places. The house looks absolutely lovely now and is ready to weather another wet, cold winter in better shape. Thanks Chuck.
Habitation Harmony put weatherstripping around a really old door in my house. It was a complicated job due to the house settling and just the nature of an old house. He put in the effort and good work ethic to get the job done right. The first time he came the floor was rubbing against the existing weatherstripping and replacing it actually made it worse. He came by again later to put a different type of weatherstripping and raising the existing door threshold to fix this. Now the door doesn't rub against the floor and seals properly. He also put a new plexiglass window to block more sound from the road noise. Habitation Harmony went above and beyond what I expected and I can see that he stands by his work. I would highly recommend him.
I'm not one to write reviews unless the service is something so stellar that it warrants taking the time to write one that might be useful to others. This is definitely one of those cases and I want to applaud the work done by R&L Windows. There was a terrible windstorm that hit the Puget Sound about a week ago that caused much of the north Seattle area to lose power. There were also downed trees and one of those trees just happened to be in the green belt behind my rental home. It came down the side of the house and completely destroyed the window on the main floor. It was a Sunday when I found out about the damage and I was completely devastated knowing that I had tenants moving into the home in 2 weeks. It was also on the main floor which caused me to have a lot of anxiety about the security of the home. I was on Angie's List for about an hour contacting contractors for expedited window replacement and most places would tell me that the window would not arrive for another 4-6 weeks, a timeline that I found unacceptable given my particular circumstances. After nearly giving up for the night, I received an e-mail from Tasha asking about the dimensions of the window (reminder, it's Sunday). I sent over pictures and she quickly (within an hour) responded with what needed to be replaced and an estimate of the work. She was very cognizant of the time frame I was trying to meet as well as the security issue and was also willing to board of the window if we had to wait for the window to arrive. She went out to the property next day, measured the window, confirmed it was a stock size that could be installed the next day (not 2 weeks, not 4 weeks etc from other quotes I received). Tasha and her team did an excellent job with installation, got the color right without me confirming and did it so quickly! From first contact to installation and final billing, I would absolutely highly recommend R&L Windows!
I have know Raul for 6 years and I have seen the quality of work that he produces. I met Raul when I sold his personal home that he had done a full remodel on. The work was done with the highest standards. Recently he bought another property and took it from a place you would not want to live, to a beautiful top quality home with tile work, granite, new windows, siding, and much more. I have referred Raul to several of my customers throughout the years and they all speak very highly of his knowledge and work. Raul is a person that I feel comfortable referring to my customers on a regular basis
Moisture ants damage. It was a small job and most of the contractors that I called put me on the back burner, but not Viking Hammer LLC, they did the job quickly and correctly. Will not hesitate to hire them again when the need arises.
I had Chris out to my house recently to redo our house. When i say redo, i mean redo. A pipe broke but it was more like a slow leak so when i had my floors rotting out that rippled into walls we decided to redo everything. We had hardwood and tiles put in and they were flawless. I dont know if i can attach pictures but if i can i will. He remodeled our bathroom, our kitchen, and our living room. Remodeled half of our study and my daughters room. I painted the whole interior to get rid of the mold. Insulation and plumbing was done by a sub he recommended but everything turned out flawless. I loved getting updates while i was at work or out of town. Toni sent me pictures of extra work that was going to be involved and asked if i wanted it performed not pressuring me into it. I also appreciate the fact that they worked weekends. I appreciated the fact that they were so courteous of my stuff, covering my clothes when they sanded the drywall in the laundry room, carefully placing my paintings where they would not get broken, etc. At one point, something was cut short, it was a really simple mistake but Chris went and got some more to replace it. I really appreciated their honesty. They did what they said they would do and on time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I loved the fact that they fixed the issues and i loved the fact that they stayed within their estimate even though most of the work was hourly rated. They really increased the value of my home! Call them for repairs or remodeling...
Jeremy is a highly skilled, reliable contractor, which is rare these days. He arrived on time, did great work, and finished in less time than expected. He did a great job fixing my roof and cleaned up after himself. I plan to rehire him to do a window for me and have already referred him to friends. He just completed the kitchen of a friend of mine who has had bad luck with other contractors. He did great work and she is very happy. This guy is the real deal. He also turned out to be a really nice guy. Hire him. You won't be sorry.
Willie was prompt at coming out to give me a fair bid for our garage update. He was honest about the timeline. When he said he and his crew would be here at nine they were even five minutes early. He has a mature crew in Franciso and Juan and they are the hardest workers I have ever seen. The work was superior to my previous contractor. He had installed windows and never returned to caulk or paint the trim. Willie gave me a discount to finish that work as he and his crew were installing windows too. The siding he installed and painted on our garage made a dilapidated sixty year old building look BRAND NEW. With the new windows it is light and cheery inside too. He subcontracted the new roof and it is beautiful and a great price within the total bid for the garage update.
I go the extra mile.
