I contacted Jill about hiring an in home personal trainer for my 75 year old mother after she had achilles surgery and was done with physical therapy but still unable to function comfortably in everyday life. My mom has been training with Nicki for a few months (she told me in the beginning she was just going to do "a few sessions") and has improved wonderfully. I have been working with Tom since June 2017 and in this amount of time we have accomplished so much together. I was initially referred to Tom by my physical therapist while coming out of a hip and shoulder injury and looking for someone to train with who would help me work though these injuries in a safe and healthy way while focusing on continuing to reach my goals and help me learn how to move in a better way. Shortly after our training started Tom was able to address and recognize every single dysfunctional area of movement and weakness in my body and since then he’s helped me focus on ways to build strength, gain balance, add stability, and work on mobility while ALWAYS conveying the importance of form first with every movement while listening to my body. Every single day we train together is different and every workout and movement is adapted and altered in a way for what my body is capable of handling that day. He has never encouraged working through the pain while recovering from an injury and is very vocal about wanting to know how every movement feels and is impacting my body. Tom asks a lot of questions and but more importantly sincerely listens to every word of the response I give and listens to every single one of my needs. If something is painful we stop immediately and find another movement to work on without judgement. Learning how to have a healthy mindset and how to stop pushing through the pain from an injury is a skill I didn’t even realize I needed help with until I met Tom and he has offered me so much helpful guidance and advice while being so incredibly kind, encouraging, and supportive along the way. Throughout our time spent working together Tom has been incredibly helpful with teaching me how to feel my muscles working and how to use the proper muscle groups for each movement which has really helped with my mind body awareness. Learning how to feel my muscles working along with learning how to move and train my body in a healthier way and being able to acknowledge where my body is in space were some of my major goals and I am so thankful for all of the guidance Tom has given me to help me work towards reaching these goals and for everything he has helped me accomplish so far. Tom is constantly learning and demonstrates on a daily basis the amount of passionate he has in this field and training his clients by the amount of experience he has and the level of knowledge he has shared with me since we’ve been training together. When I met Tom I had no idea how much he would impact by life with our training by teaching me how to have a healthier mindset, being supportive, always having an incredibly positive attitude, and by teaching me to move in a healthier way while listening to my body. I’ve worked with other trainers and in no way has anyone I’ve ever worked with compared to Tom. I cannot say enough positive things about Tom’s wonderful, yet professional personality. Tom has been so incredibly honest, kind, supportive, and patient with me since we’ve started and has helped me acknowledge and work on so many areas of dysfunction within my body but also within my life and I could not possibly be more thankful to be working with him!
I experienced Kristin to be extremely knowledgeable and confident with human physiology and how to strengthen the body without injury. With many years of experience and on-going training, she practices what she preaches and offers many tools to accommodate any comfort level. When meeting with Angie during the consultation I felt comfortable and well informed so I decided to begin my fitness journey with Inspired Fitness LLC. I workout twice a week. Angie is great with changing up the routines so you're never doing the same thing everyday. The gym is very private and clean. I would recommend Training with Angie!
