I was in need of major help with editing of my book. Monica stepped in and made sure everything was correct. From our first conversation to the end of the editing process she listened and made sure everything was to my specifications. She was even gracious enough to edit the back cover for me when I needed it. I will be using Monica for all my future projects.
Delores did the copy-editing for my book. She did a thorough job, making me aware of errors and giving me suggestions on how to make my book better. She is extremely professional and helpful. I learned so much from her as she is filled with amazing ideas for promoting and publishing. I would recommend Delores to anyone, she is a great editor!
Laura helped me with an essay I was writing for admission into the nursing program at UW Parkside. She was very quick with her responses back to me and had a lot of wonderful feedback to help me better my essay. I really appreciate the time she took to help me.
After my session with Dorothy I went back to an article I had written and was able to edit it in one shot! With all of the notes I took from our session I gained a better understanding of where my areas of opportunity were to improve. She is a phenomenal teacher & excellent writer! Dorothy you saved my blog!
Luciana did an incredible job editing my book. Her thoroughness and attention to detail was amazing. She picked up on points that not only helped my book look great, they also made me a better writer going forward. I can't say enough about what she did for me.
Tracy is a great worker, energetic and fun to have around. She has helped me for the last 3 yrs. M Nelson
Chaudhry did the excellent work of review writing on my kindle books and also helped me a lot in getting excellent quality of reviews through review swapping. I will highly recommend him to all new clients for getting chance of availing his great reviews' writing services.
Great ideas and great person, not in that order! Looking forward to working together again soon.
I have worked with Steve on a variety of projects, as a contributor to his anthologies (he's a fine editor) and as a collaborator on stories. He has always displayed a great attention to detail and produces excellent work (check out his "Blue Kingdoms" series where he has designed covers, edited others and contributed fiction. First rate work and a perfect trifecta of skills). When I developed the idea for a serial fiction series, Steve was one of two writers I asked first to contribute.
Joe was co-author and editor on MY LIFE IN FOCUS. He helped me get my true voice on the page, was receptive to comments, helped design page layouts, and didn't stop working until the job was done right. He also handled all social media marketing for the book, including creating and managing multimedia Facebook posts. Joe's work was professional, punctual, and invaluable. - Gianni Bozzacchi, author, MY LIFE IN FOCUS: A PHOTOGRAPHER'S JOURNEY WITH ELIZABETH TAYLOR AND THE HOLLYWOOD JET SET
Cindy is the best of the best! She is someone you just want to get to know. She handled everything so beautifully and led us through it each step of the way. Our wedding was better than we could have ever hoped for! She made the entire wedding so personal and even wrote the most incredible poem about our lives together. We are going to have it framed as a lifelong reminder! With Cindy performing our marriage, we always felt comfortable that everything was in control and would go well - and believe me, that's a great feeling! After all, your wedding is your most important day! Cindy doesn't only have a lot of experience marrying people, but she has been a speaker for years! So she is very used to talking to big crowds. This was so wonderful, because she came across so natural, she could be heard well, and really knew how to "present" the ceremony so that it all comes off without a problem. She is also great for those awkward "on the spot" moments where no one knows what to do or say. (We had one of those with my mother-in-law, but Cindy handled it beautifully!) Everyone was so pleased and very impressed. She led us through our rehearsal so we all knew what to do and what to expect. She helped us to write our vows without being intrusive or pushy. She was sooooo helpful! She organized our music for us, helped us to chose readings and just put together and overall ceremony that blew us away! Oh, and she also created our wedding bulletins! They were really awesome! I just loved them!!! I will recommend Cindy to everyone (and do). She is that on-in-a-million type of person you just hope will come into your life. We will always be grateful that she came into ours!!!!
I have hired Molly as both a copywriter/editor and as a researcher/indexer. In all of these roles, she brings stunning attention to detail and refreshing creativity. Highly recommended!

I’m writing this letter to recommend Sarah Dorfman for your current employment opportunities. When I was the Marketing Manager at The Wharf Marketplace in Monterey, California, I hired Sarah to write for the website, menus, and marketing materials. She is an excellent writer and detailed editor; a combination I was having trouble finding. After working with Sarah on those projects I realized her skills in other areas that I was becoming too busy to handle. She set our social media in motion and was not only successful at growing our likes and followers, but she was great at starting conversations and getting people to interact with our brand. At the time The Wharf Marketplace was a new business and Sarah had a major role in helping us stay on brand, gain loyal customers, earn the respect of fellow business partners. Sarah was very valuable to me, and I’m confident you would have the same results. Sincerely, Carrie Crook Former Marketing Manager for The Wharf Marketplace, Monterey, California. 2013-2015
I've been in the book publishing business since 1987 and continue to flourish in this industry despite its current state of flux! I've been an in-house acquisitions editor at a major trade publishing house in NYC; in fact, I worked in the editorial departments of Putnam/Perigee, Basic Books, and HarperCollins. I have a Certificate in Book and Magazine Publishing from the NYU Summer Publishing Institute. I've been a bestselling author and done extensive publicity and platform building for my books. I have a degree in Latin, minor in English Linguistics and Grammar, and studied line editing and structural editing from working with top NYC editors. I've ghostwritten and done developmental editing on many bestsellers including New York Times bestsellers. I have testimonials from many name-brand clients. I do not take on clients unless I feel I am the right person for them. I am motivated by the desire to help other people create books that will change the world for the better. I never give 100 percent; I always give more. Going above and beyond is just the way I'm wired. Hence, I'm selective about the projects I'll take on. I work within people's budgets and with where they are, right now, in the process. If I can't help you, I'll do the best I can to hook you up with a highly qualified professional I trust. I don't make recommendations lightly.
I am an experienced writer and editor. If you can't figure out exactly what to say, I can say it for you! If you've written something, but want to make it better or more effective, I can change it from wimpy to powerhouse! If you are not a native English speaker/writer, I can review your document and make sure it is in correct English. Whether it's an email, a letter, a script, a manuscript, or policies and procedures manuals, I can help you say what you mean. I specialize in clear and understandable plain English.
Retired English instructor of high school and post secondary levels, and published author is willing to accept proofreading and editing jobs from other writers.
I'm fun to work with and enjoy the creative process. I deliver what my clients want and need. And my fees are reasonable. Variety, flexibility and meeting new people.
