The Heirloom Co was the only company in Alabama I found who would plan and photograph an LGBTQ wedding. We let her handle literally everything, and we didn’t have to worry about any of the awkward “Will you make a cake for a lesbian couple?” phone calls. The Heirloom Co handled literally everything so I didn’t have to contact anyone myself. Everything about our wedding was perfect, and Brooke knew exactly what she was talking about. She helped us find the perfect venue, did the catering, brought the cake, decorated the venue, wrote up our timeline, and did basically everything else. It was basically a dream come true and SO SO stress-free. :)

DJ was very fun and professional. He showed up early, set up fast and dressed very professional. He wore a suit and tie and played all of the right music. He played music we requested and read the crowd so well. He played music that they wanted to hear as well. During the dance songs, he was out on the dance floor teaching the dances and he has some pretty awesome dance moves himself. DJ has such a huge personality and it showed through all night. He is very well spoken and his announcements on the mic were very clear. He even asked us if we wanted to play the Newly Wed Shoe Game or Bride and Groom Trivia. It kept the crowd laughing. The anniversary dance he suggested was fun because at the end of the song, my grandparents who have been married 53 years were the last couple standing with my groom and I. It was very special! Our guests raved about how much fun they had! Our day wouldn't have been the same without DJ the DJ there! We highly recommend him for your wedding, party or event!

If you are a busy person but are wanting your wedding to turn out how you have dreamed hire a wedding planner. If you want the planning experience to have as little stress as possible hired these ladies!!! They are the dream team. I am telling all of my friends and family about them. Everything I wanted these ladies were able to get done for me. I will be honest my husband (Love saying this now!) and I have saved for this wedding and we both work a lot so we had a lot of room in our budget, but these ladies can work with a wide variety of budget sizes. These ladies are thoughtful, respectful, honest, and most importantly professional. I didn't have to worry about anything throughout the whole process. Honestly, if you are thinking about using Southern Belle Affairs for your event you will not regret it. Love you guys!! Adrienne & David

Impeccable Taste Catering catered my wedding and wedding rehearsal dinner in 2013. They were located in Pittsburgh then, and my wedding was in Birmingham. Deidra and her staff were impeccable! She went up and beyond my expectations even being hundreds of miles away. Everything was so professional and delicious! Not to mention the price! Very reasonable! I highly recommend without reservation.
