As one friend put it to me awhile ago pearls before swine. This is how I would describe I Liq Chuan. This internal martial art is what I feel embodies the secrets of martial power and strength. It is unlike any other martial art I have experienced and I have experienced a lot ranging from combatives to aikido, to jujutsu to judo. This martial art helps one to focus on whats going on inside you: proper mental state, structure, balance, relaxation and much, much more. The curriculum is simple, but has so much depth to it. Its fantastic for health and self-defense. Sifu Ashe Higgs is a talented instructor and friend who I find to be very, very skilled, patient and generous with his knowledge. He is one of the best I Liq Chuan instructors in the system and is a personal disciple of Sam Chin, another fantastic teacher. If you want to experience a martial art that goes beyond kata and accumulating techniques, that expands your mind and martial abilities this art is one to explore.
I was seeking a personal trainer. I was one of those kids that use to weigh 230 lbs in high school and by the time I graduated over the summer I honestly went 230LBs to 160lbs. I was bone and everything I did to gain weight/muscle wasn't helping. I worked with Zach and he put me under some great training! I started training in Pankration about a year ago... When I came in I was greeted by Dan and he explained what Pankration was and gave me his background which is in Wrestling... After my first night training with Dan I was hooked... Because of Dan's coaching and power to motivate I have found a new love for Wrestling and Pankration... I feel very confident in my hand to hand combat abilities and not to mention I got in great shape because Dan would put us threw some grueling grappling and sparring sessions... In in all Dan Huber is an excellent Coach and a great Friend if their is anyone you want in your corner it's Dan... Besides our Master Instructor Jeff, Dan is the only other person I know that has a genuine love for hand to hand combat... Thanks Dan... TEAM LEONIDAS!!!

I am an ISSA certified personal trainer I'm currently studying to get my (nasm) National academy of sports medicine certification. I have been involved in fitness for a little over two years now but I have always been involved in sports and just a naturally active person but even though growing up active I was some what of an obese kid it was rough being so good at the activity's I participated in but being so heavy. As I got older I took on fitness and boxing I loved lost weight got in tones of shape and started looking like the true athlete I was. So my passion for fitness and knowing the struggle of being over weight and unhealthy is why I chose personal training so I could pass on what I have experienced to those who wanna be more fit, healthy and trim.
Well where do I start? I was looking for a place for my daughters to train and I know a lot about martial arts. Not only this instructor is knowledgeable but he's extremely professional, patient and pleasant to work with. We love it and always enjoy going there.
