Jose is a phenomenal chef and caterer. He's the first person I got to for any of my event needs. He catered my birthday surprise party and my wife's birthday party. Jose is incredibly resourceful, full of ideas and always finds a way to go above and beyond. Food is always great, very competitive on pricing and always very flexible and service oriented for your needs. He's definitely my go to guy for any culinary needs I have.
Chef Mike was outstanding. The job was a Thanksgiving dinner for the Cathedral City Fire Department.The food was topnotch, the guys said it was like something your grandmother would make. I would recommend Chef Mike and First Class Catering for any occasion.
My family recently hired Jeff to caterer a BBQ for approximately 40 people in Palm Springs. From the first moment i spoke to Jeff, I had zero worries. He is extremely responsive, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I really had to only explain the type of event, the amount of people, and our style and Jeff handled everything else. For someone that was dealing with everything from NYC, Jeff took so much stress off of my hands. Then the day of the party - Jeff was kind, beyond professional and an amazing chef. My family is still raving about the food. His staff (kicking myself that i can't remember her name) was also wonderful. Without question, I would highly recommend Jeff.
Michelle from One HOT Dish Catering was hired as a 'one time' personal chef at my home. I requested that Michelle provide me and my guest with a fine dining experience with five star restaurant service. She didn't disappoint. Michelle transformed of portion of my home into an elegant dining corner and prepared a full course meal with the culinary expertise reminiscent of Flemings. If you weren't in awe of the table setting and china flatware then you were marveled by her attentive service and the exquisite manner in which explained each dish. We felt like royalty. We can't wait to do it again!
HI all, My wife and I hired Jessica as our wedding coordinator for our 4 day wedding in February of 2017 in the La Quinta area. We live in Los Angeles, so we were looking for a pro who know the area well, and could help us with the planning, local vendor recommendations, supplies, etc. I can tell you this much, we were lucky to have found her. She is very proactive, straightforward, quick thinking, fast acting, and is moving a mile a minute. She hooked us up with her own professional bar, wait staff and chefs she has acquired relationships with over years of working events. She gave us recommendations on who to use for flowers, ice, booze, etc. She met us a few times on and off site to game plan for our multiple days of events, and made sure things ran smoothly throughout. We had negotiated fees, wages, timeframes all in advance, and by the time the weekend was over, everything was as it should have been and checked out. No funny business or discrepancies. Overall, she is just the sweetest lady, who wants to provide a great experience, so you don't have to worry about this and that. She's on it, is one sharp person, and very resourceful. I would highly recommend you give her a call for any size event, as she can handle both intimate and large scale. Thx so much for helping our wedding weekend to be so great and memorable!
We loved the level of service and the food was amazing! Our guests loved every course. The chef used fresh ingredients and each dish was deliciously prepared and well presented. The entire staff created a wonderful experience for us and our guests. They were professional, courteous, friendly, very accommodating, and completely self-sufficient. We didn't have to lift a finger. Even the planning stage was made easy. Bill was extremely responsive, very professional, and reliable. They were reasonabley priced, as well. I would highly recommend them.
I've known and worked with Chef Sarena Nelson for a few years, she always takes pride in her creations and is by far one of the best Chefs I've met.
Chef Ace was amazing! I hired Amanda to cook for my party of 5 friends in Palm Springs for a night. I had never done this type of thing before and was a little nervous, but I felt very comfortable with Amanda immediately. Within 5 minutes of my request she was the very first person to respond. She made it very clear that she was open to cook anything we liked, and we were able to create a menu together. Amanda created a wonderful 4 course meal for us that was made with all fresh ingredients. She was right on time and treated us as if we were at a restaurant. Although we tried to help with clearing dishes, Amanda insisted that we relax and she would take care of everything. The food was out of this world delicious and left us bursting at the seems. Any food left over was wrapped for us and left in our fridge. Not only was the food outstanding, Amanda was warm and professional. I could not not think of one thing I would change about the evening. I wish I lived in California so that I could use Chef Ace's services again. Anyone looking for an amazing personal chef, Chef Ace is the way to go. I didn't want to go through a company that would just send a chef I didn't know. Each time we spoke via text or call, Amanda is the person I got. No computers or secretaries, just Chef Ace. Thank you Chef for an unforgettable evening!

She was so accommodating and I feel she truly wanted us all to have a wonderful experience and worked with us on building a great menu. We have lots of food left over after our meal. Meraki is a Greek word used to describe putting a lot of love, creativity and soul into something which is why Jory Pomeranz chose the name. It is easy to smell, taste and see that a lot of love goes into each Meraki Meal. Jory has a natural ability to combine flavors. He can time every course so they are not only cooked at the perfect temperature, but served at the correct temperature and add flare to something basic like a chicken thigh. Even the grill marks on a piece of chicken are perfectly spread out and just enough to give the chicken a grill flavor without ruining the juicy tenderness we all strive for when making chicken. Jory can make things that you hated as a kid taste delectable. Jory adds spices and sauces up until the minute prior to serving to make sure each plate is perfect. I once saw Jory save what was about to be terrible chicken tacos by creating a homemade taco sauce from a nearly empty refrigerator. With Meraki Meals the food suits the season. Who wants to eat watermelon in October when pomegranate and apples are so delicious. Every Meraki Meal tastes like the season and uses fresh fruits and vegetables. Meraki Meals put a healthy spin on what looks and tastes like a calorie nightmare, but each meal is filled with proteins and vitamins. Not only is the flavor impeccable, the presentation is a work of art. Even when catering for 35-40 people, Meraki Meals are served in beautiful silver dishes. Meraki Meals are great for crowds of any size. I have to make a conscious effort not to scrape my plate clean every time I have had Meraki Meals. I highly recommend Meraki Meals for a party of any size, but especially 8-12 people because this might give the chef a chance to sit and talk with you which is a treat of its own!
Chef Mark is an amazing chef! He was very professional. I had a small dinner party with friends. I wasn’t sure what I wanted. Since I am on a low carb diet. After speaking with him he created a Menu to fit my diet restrict but also carter to my friends non restricted diet. Appetizer was fried calamari with sweet and sour sauce. The salad was a fresh Ahi Tuna salad. The entree was mouth watering pan seared Scallops with lemongrass carrot ginger purée. Lastly was dessert which I could only have a taste of my friends apple crisp with vanilla ice cream and homemade salted caramel. It was to hard to resist. Chef Mark made fresh berries with he’s own whipping cream!

I can make packaged meals on a weekly/daily basis or cook in my client's home for more personal meals. The rates are based on the service level expected with daily, weekly, or monthly rates for in-home meals as well as preplanned/packaged meal pricing.
