This review is long overdue, but I'm so glad that we had Radish & Rose cater our wedding! I got married at The Hudson Loft, and Ariana and her team provided amazing food, super attentive service, and went above and beyond to make sure that everything went off without a hitch. We were so glad to have them as a part of our big day! We'd met with a few caterers when we were first planning our wedding, but Radish & Rose was the obvious choice for us. Their staff was friendly and open to our ideas/input from day one, plus they had the best food and planning options. They took care of every detail, which is so important when you're booking a raw space and need to rent tables/chairs, place settings, and just about everything else. Ariana thought of everything and was able to answer all of our little questions and gave us advice on the things that we were clueless about. She made our day stress-free so we were able to focus on having a great time!
I found 3 Little Birds on Thumbtack and instantly fell in love with the way Jessica and Dustin communicated and worked with me and my fiancé! We hired them as day of wedding planners and got an initial meet &a greet, timeline meeting, wedding rehearsal and the day of. Here's what makes them 5 stars. Dustin is an absolute gem and has the creative view to help pull the wedding day together. He used bridesmaid bouquets as extra decor, reused ceremony flowers for the reception and helped with every detail including me asking him to move some things around when they didn't look exactly how I pictured them. He checked in throughout the night and was amazing! Jessica is everything you could ever want in a wedding planner and she is absolutely wonderful. Organized. Thorough. Great communication. But honestly the entire wedding day and night she kept asking me and my husband if needed anything. She bustled my dress for me, brought us appetizers and drinks and honestly made me feel like a princess. I had no worries the entire night! I highly recommend you have them stay to help clean up, it was a god send. Thank you Jessica and Dustin!!
We initially hired Michelle to do a quick hour-long walk through of our wedding venue to help us think through which rentals we would need and how to best use the space, since we felt in over our heads but also like a day-of wedding planner/coordinator would be entirely out of our budget. After spending two hours with Michelle and hearing all her advice on how to best use the space, we knew we wanted to have her with us on the big day. Not only is she professional and really knows what she is doing, but she is warm and friendly, which doesn't hurt!! We were on a tight budget, but her rate was very affordable considering all the work she put into our event. A few weeks before our event, when we were so swamped and stressed we couldn't even figure out how to ask other people for help and delegate tasks for them, Michelle scheduled a call with us in which she walked us through a series of questions that led us to think through things we didn't even have on our radar. I can't stress enough how helpful this was, as we were at a point where we definitely couldn't have identified what we needed help with without her guiding us through that conversation. As we went through the to-do lists, she offered to help in way more ways than I was anticipating. At the event, she was even better than we could have imagined. I think having a day-of coordinator is something we didn't realize nearly how much we'd appreciate until we saw Michelle in action. Although there were minor hiccoughs throughout the day (various vendors' faults, not Michelle's), Michelle made it so that to us, the day felt flawless and smooth. Not only that, but she took pictures throughout and got some of the best photos of the night!! We can't recommend her enough. If hiring a coordinator is something you are on the fence about, just know you will NOT regret hiring Michelle!! She's simply the best!
I hired Michelle an Eimee from Elegant and Modern Events for my small wedding. I was on a tight budget and they gave me a quote that seemed reasonable. During the wedding planning Michelle and Eimee were very professional, answering tons of my emails and questions. They were always fast to answer and very polite and understanding. We met at the reception venue to go through the details and I couldn't help, but notice how nice, friendly and easy to talk they are! During the meeting Michelle and Eimee gave me some valid suggestions and also offered to help with rentals, which saved me a lot of headache. They sent me the options of possible flowers and allowed me to pick what designs I like the most. I wanted something simple, but cute, and their design matched my expectations very well! We met one more time to go over the details and they brought me some samples that I absolutely loved! While being busy at work and being unable to do as many DIY projects as I originally intended, I kept adjusting the order and add more and more stuff, but Michelle and Eimee were very understanding and had everything ready by the day of the wedding. What I loved the most about working with them is that they were able to set up 2 different wedding sites at the same time, since they were 2 of them! They also promptly transferred some of the decoration from the ceremony to the reception site and quickly set it up before the guests showed up! Honestly, when I saw all the decorations and flowers set up, I was shocked how nice it looked. I also got a lot of compliments on the bouquets and centerpieces. By the end of the wedding they were all taken by the guests! I can't thank them enough for making my wedding so relaxing and feel very well taken care of! I would highly recommend Michelle and Eimee to anyone who needs any flower arrangements or rental services!
This is the best service we hired for the wedding! I would recommend hiring them for wedding planning or for a day of coordinator like we did. Dianne and Megan handled all of the emergencies that came up the day of the wedding and there are always a few like calling Bevmo and handling when the keg didn't work, figuring out how to get into the brides room where the flowers were when she lost her key and was out taking her photos, going to the store to pick up a few missed items, making sure wedding party was taken care of, literally pulling out safety pins and scissors from her pockets when needed, setting up the candy buffet service and refilling it, and I could go on and on. My son's vision for his wedding was executed because of this service. Seeing the smiles on the bride and grooms face is so worth paying for this service. I would recommend them to anyone and am proud to call them my newest friends. BIG WOW service providers! Can't recommend them enough!
Ricki was the best wedding planner, she took away all the stress from us so we could enjoy the whole experience. I would recommend her to everyone I know who is getting married. She is AMAZING!!
I was in search for a luxury wedding planner for a private estate for my wedding. I could never the perfect venue space without her help! The private estate that I am going to have my wedding is simply beautiful! I called a lot of local planners and spoke to a few on thumbtack to find the right place, but she was the only one to care genuinely about my needs and concerns and delivered QUICKLY. Now she is my wedding planner. She is very professional and extremely good at follow-through. She has a solid experience and great connections in the industry. I will recommend her to anyone who is planning an event. I will write more about her after my honeymoon! :)
I had the best experience with Victoria. She had amazing ideas for my wedding day. The touch of blues in a silver and white tone theme added elegance and grace, just as I was imagining it. All flowers were really fresh and guests were all eager to take it home after. Despite the great work, I had no issues communicating and from the start of our consultation, I noticed how quickly I was understood with my requests. My bouquet was so full and heavy, so I know I got my money’s worth. Definitely a to-go-to florist with any wants and needs that will be fulfilled beyond expected.
Joanne and her team were amazing to work with. They're a newer company and ready to go above and beyond to make your day happen. She was responsive and thorough, which made wedding planning less stressful and fun! She gave my husband and I a lot of options and were able to work with our budget without compromising the things we wanted. She connected me with a local florist and videographer. Their services exceeded my expectations and were great to work with as well. Joanne also arrived early on the day of my wedding to make sure the vendors were on track. It was a pleasure working with her team and I'd highly recommend their services.
Getting Susan as our wedding day of coordinator was one of the best decisions we made. At first we were unsure about even needing someone since we had many offers of help from families and friends for the day of, and we had already booked most of our vendors by ourselves. Little did we know how many details we had not considered until we met with Susan to discuss the wedding day. She was so organized and very attentive to detail. She had an itemized list of all the wedding decorations, worked with us and our vendors to get our timeline nailed, and was in constant contact with us and making sure we were still getting our boxes checked. We had a death in the immediate family a few weeks before the wedding, and Susan went beyond her duties of day of coordinator to help us during that time, offering support and advice. We also lived about an hour away from the wedding venue and even further from her but she was always accommodating. We had our wedding at the Odyssey Restaurant and it was a very tight schedule but Susan was able to work her magic and get everything set up perfectly for the ceremony and reception (decorations, party favors, candy bar, etc) with the limited amount of time that the restaurant allowed. It was wonderful having Susan be a part of our day and if we could have, we would have chosen her as our wedding planner throughout the whole process from the beginning. We would definitely recommend Susan to our friends and family for any event planning.
I was hesitant to get a planner at first because we were working with a very small budget, but Ira was (is) absolutely amazing. She worked within our budget, helped my plans materialize and made my wedding day beyond incredible. She is such a hard worker, so kind, and very knowledgeable for the planning industry. My daughters wedding could not have been such a success without Tory. One of the things I think back of that day is what a great job Tory' did . She was the perfect liaison between the on site manager and the vendors that we had at the wedding. Details were handled that we would have overlooked and she allowed us to enjoy our day to the fullest potential. Tory is a very sweet girl with a top professional attitude. My wife and I were very happy with her help and we recommend her with the highest marks to anyone who is having a special event in their lives.
FIVE STARS. When you hire someone, there are certain core qualities that you look for. Often times, you have to give a compromise a little when compared to expectations. However, regarding Cassy there was virtually nothing we had to give up. She communicated with us quickly and efficiently. She was professional and worked with purpose. She was punctual, and her work quality exceeded our expectations, for our wedding. Let me repeat that: she EXCEEDED our expectations for OUR WEDDING. You can't buy value like that, but she made it possible. She is also very knowledgeable and has a gentle/sweet demeanor. Here's the bottom line: if you like someone who communicates well (able to listen and convey ideas clearly and concisely), works with purpose, and in a timely manner, and works to meet your expectations without an unreasonable price tag attached, then Cassy is definitely for you. Que is an floral artist! Whatever your vision, she will make it happen and exceed your expectations. She was recommended by two people I went to graduate school with who both raved about her arrangements at their weddings. Que is beyond talented, organized and efficient. She also takes into account your budget and gives you serious bang for your buck.
Jessell planned our wedding. She coordinated everything. She worked with the caterer, florist, DJ, and production company...all we had to do was say "yes" or "no". Her onsite team was awesome and kept things running. Our friends are still talking about how cool it was. We would not have done anything differently, so 5 stars all around!
Lisa planned my Bridal Shower and it was amazing! I was more than happy with the way it turned out! My colors for the wedding were blue and pink and she made sure to incorporate them in all the decorations. The decor was tasteful and beautiful. No detail was left behind. She took the time to get to know me and what I liked, and made sure to include that throughout the party. The food was catered from a healthy and fresh company (so important to me!). She picked the perfect menu that was both light and delicious, ideal for a group of ladies. As the Bride, she didn't let me worry about a thing and got all my Bridesmaids involved. She worked well with members of my family in making sure that the event went off without a hitch. The most memorial part of the party was when she interviewed me and had previously interviewed my husband and recorded his answers on a little recorder. Everyone got a kick out of listening to my hubby answer the questions and seeing how our answers were the same and sometimes very different ha! At the end of the interview, my husband came in with a bouquet of roses. It was such a surprise and brought tears to my eyes. I loved the way she incorporated him into the event. It was such a beautiful day and definitely one I will remember forever. Thank you Lisa for making it so special!
We hired Ginger as our Wedding Coordinator and were thrilled with the vast amount of experience, creativity and professionalism she brought to our whole wedding experience. Her many years of experience doing Visual Display & Merchandising at high-end department stores and event planning prepared her to produce an impressive yet affordable wedding. After our first discussion of my hopes for my wedding day, she came back with some of the same pictures of décor that I had-this showed me how effectively she had listened to my desires and was ready to implement them. She had an established rapport with the vendors which I valued so I could just enjoy my day while she handled all the logistics. Friends and family still mention how beautiful my wedding was and I give most of the credit to Ginger and her expertise!
Regina was the very first planner that I worked with. She worked to customize everything to my needs. She did decorations and planning for my birthday party and I do not regret having her.
