I've definitely had my share of trying out different trainers/gyms/workout DVDs/group classes/boot camps, you name it and I've done it. Throw out those workout DVDs and cancel all your memberships. Trust me when I say Manuk is the one and only trainer you will need. I have been training with him for about a year now a couple times a week. Manuk really took the time on our first meeting to get to know me and my life style so he can plan a workout accordingly. He asked me my daily routine, food and drink Intake, job, what my goals were, etc.. Didn't miss a point to give me the best results. Goat Fitness has been one of the best things I have ever done. Like most women I know I struggle with my weight. I am small person ( 5 feet tall) so I feel like my weight goes up and down a lot. I have done diets and boot camps and everything worked for like 2 weeks but, I never really achieved the results I was looking for. I would loose like 5 lbs and stop losing weight. Not to mention I couldn't eat anything I wanted and the work outs were ridiculous. Lucky for me one of the girls I work with goes to Goat and she looks amazing and all she did was talk about how great this gym is. There are those people who LOVE working out .... I am not one of them and I don't understand the people (like my friend) who are super into it. But.... she looks great and she told me her trainer said she can have a bagel and cream cheese. That got my attention!!! Every work-out/ trainer I have ever seen has told me that I basically have to cut out everything I love to eat which for me is wine and cheese which sucks so I do it for 2 weeks then I stop losing weight and say screw it back to eating what I want. There is another way!!!! So I decided to go see this amazing trainer that allows you to eat foods you actually like. Lets just start with everyone at the gym is incredibly nice. I talked with Jon and he talked about getting the results I wanted and how to reasonably achieve them. He was honest and up front this isn't the place where you drop 20 lbs in a month first that isn't healthy and it typically doesn't taste or feel good. He explained that what I was looking for would yes take time but, we could certainly get there in a few months. I don't have ridiculous goals I just want skinny girl arms and to fit into a pair of pants like the average woman. I appreciated Jon's realistic approach to weight lost. We did all my measurements and he built me work outs that would help me get to where I wanted. Another great thing you can pick different packages so I picked the 30 minute training ones. I have never been so happy to work out. The work outs are definitely changeling but, they don't kill you ( you will be sore though) but, its over super fast! Back to the food because when I think weight loss I typically go to great well I can't eat this or this or.... and it goes on. I can have my wine and my cheese!! We set up my macros to show me I need this many: Carbs, Fats, and Proteins. I can eat those anyway I want!!! If I want to have wine that is fine I just need to make sure it fits into my macros. The trick is if I know I am going to have a glass of wine later its the first thing I put in my phone so I know I am having it and I see what else I have the rest of the day so I get my wine! This fits into my life which is more important to me. I work 2 jobs and don't have a ton of extra time. Most importantly they care they really do and they are very flexible. I am happy to say .... I fit the pants .... and I have wine & cheese :)
Omg I don't even know where to begin, I've been working out for a few years and I've never experienced anything like Sonia's body boot camp!! She is the best she always gives me a good workout, she motivates me and pushes me harder even when I feel like I can't!! This is my first boot camp- ever. I was a little apprehensive at first but with an upcoming family wedding I decided I wanted to give it a try and see if it really works. Imagine my surprise to find out I lost 6 1/2 inches and several pounds within the first 3 weeks! Daunye is a fabulous instructor - she gives attention to each person making sure they are doing the exercises properly- she answers any and all questions I have regarding nutrition or ways to modify exercises and she motivates and encourages us to push through and be successful. I have recommended this program to several friends.
Susie led a boot camp that I participated in for about 4 months. She was awesome! I never got bored with our workouts because it seemed we never did the same thing twice. She's got a plethora of workout ideas. She was also able to modify any exercise to meet various levels of fitness. She's a great trainer who will push you through your complaining and get you to your goal!

I attended workout boot camps for So Live The Trainer. I must say that it was a challenge but so worth it. At times when participants felt like giving up, So Live would join in on the exercise and encourage them to push to the finish. Any other trainer would coach from the sideline as encouragement but So Live gets down with you to show he is there and supportive. That is something that is needed out of a trainer and he had no problem doing it. Awesome!
Brook's so fantastic; I'm not sure where to start! She found me struggling in the gym with a frozen shoulder and getting no where, with the shoulder or my physique. She subsequently worked me through my frozen shoulder issues and on to prepare me for my wedding, upon which I have never felt stronger or probably looked better. Shes now helping my husband with his damaged shoulder issues. She wastes no time standing around talking and she really focuses on the muscles you're supposed to be engaging and why. There's no boot camp style where you're mindlessly running around not really focusing or strengthening anything. Its a highly focused work out where I come away sore and stronger every time. I cant recommend her enough!
