Mohamed is the best trainer I have ever trained with. I have trained with a number of other trainers before but no one as good as Mohamed. He genuinely cares about his clients and wants us to see results which is why he checks in daily to see how I am feeling. He is an all in one trainer, in the sense he not only helped me get fit physically but also helped me become positive/strong mentally. He saw that I was working out with him but was not happy mentally (job situation) but he helped me deal with it. He such a positive person with a lot to offer. His workouts are awesome, he challenges me every time I see him. I am doing workouts that I have never done before or even knew I could do. I have been going to EmpowerFit for about 7 years. I have 4 kids, work full-time, and go school so my 5:30am workout in the park gets my day going! Kelly is a great bootcamp coach. She motivates, pushes you and makes you want more. She is great about following up with us if she hasn't seen us in awhile. Oh don't think you get off the hook if it is your birthday. She remembers everyone's birthday and you get to do some FABULOUS birthday burpees ;). I do have to say, the way she promotes health and fitness it ends becoming a habit and a way of life! When my former trainer moved from the area this gave me an opportunity to try Patrick. When I observed him train his clients and the intensity he displays during his own workouts, I knew that's what I wanted. Patrick is passionate about health and fitness and his ability to convey this has been very motivating in and out of the gym. And if you have any pain or physical limitations, Patrick will show you how to mitigate these by incorporating mobility and other exercises. Introducing kettle bells and TRX bands has definitely amped up my workouts, they're challenging and that's what I get when I train with Patrick, a challenging workout.
I have been working out with Abu for the last 4 years. Previously I worked out on my own, but found that I would start routines and abandon them after a few months, with the result that my conditioning would go up and down. Mostly I was quitting the workouts because they took too long to do (1.5 to 2.0 hours) and got repetitive and boring (same cardio followed or preceded by the same weight circuit). After a 50 minute workout directed by Abu I feel like I have accomplished much more than I did in twice the time on my own. Also, because he manages the workout planning, is watching me for form and setting the pace and variety, and being very personable and engaging while doing so, his workouts never get boring and I never worry about getting hurt by doing something completely new. I also do a lot more core exercises than I would do on my own. I have never been in a workout routine that I felt so confident about sustaining.
Carlo has helped me perfect my deadlifts by critiquing my form; from my breathing patterns to my backs position when lifting; if you are serious about gaining strength, I am proud to say Carlo Maravilla is my secret weapon... He is the man!
Joa was recommended to me by a friend in an effort to get me in shape having made a number of attempts on my own.
