I first met Paul about two months ago while I was looking for guitar lessons. Since then I have been improving a lot in both my theory as well as my playing- thanks to Paul's efforts. I am pleased with the service he provides and the experience that he generously uses to help.
Easy to find location, Professional recording environment, Great vibes and high quality equipment. I recommend this facility to all artists from beginner to Pro, and any genre of music!! Looking forward to booking my next session!!
Omar was great at helping me understand music theory. Being a beginner, he showed me how to break down strumming patterns and chords so that it would be easier for me to practice and progress.
I've been taking guitar lessons with Kimberly since the beginning of 2011. At the time I'd had several years of lessons using a traditional method on acoustic guitar and was looking for a teacher who could help me focus on electric blues rock and move me beyond my intermediate skill level. Kimberly has a real focus on and talent for teaching. My lessons are tailored to meet my interests. A large part of the lesson is devoted to learning her method for blues soloing--at least 5 approaches to improvisation and comping. After several years, I've come to see how these approaches interweave, complement each other and have become an intuitive part of my musical vocabulary. Also, because I expressed an interest, part of the lesson involves sight reading, learning blues and jazz theory, developing rhythmic playing sense, and learning a few favorite solos. Kimberly has an amazing ability to tab out and teach any song you give her. Which leads to the best part--after 6 months I was invited to play with one of her ensemble classes. While I was absolutely petrified with fear at the beginning, this has turned into one of the highlights of my week every week. It is just downright fun! It's a safe and forgiving environment where you can make mistakes and learn, or try things out that might flop, or turn into something cool. Every teacher and guitar magazine article all point to the need to play with other musicians to develop your skills and this is where Kimberly Allison really delivers. I feel that I could now sit in with other musicians and contribute. I give my highest recommendation for taking lessons with Kimberly.
Matthew is very knowledgeable an knows how to bring the information down to my level, very basic, step by step, which is exactly what I needed. He also challenges me to go beyond what I think I am capable of and I surprise myself. I am excited about my progress and can't wait to see what the year holds. I would highly recommend Matthew for beginning to advanced guitar. Thank You, Matthew
At the age of 9 my son Julian started to take group guitar lessons from Pat. After that session I ask Pat if he does private lessons, he said yes but its at La Puente. So from Chino Hills I took my son to La Puente every Saturday for the next 5 years. He is very good with kids and I highly recommend him. My son now 18 enjoys writing songs & performing.
Great guitar instructor who teaches you notes, different strumming techniques, picking, how to read music and is a wealth of knowledge on music of all kinds and is very personal and will adjust to what you would like to learn. I would highly recommend Mark to anyone wanting to learn guitar or master it.
Very good instruction. I am a beginner at piano but the teacher instilled a lot of confidence in me.
Daniel is an amazing instructor. Not only is he very patient, but he’s an extremely knowledgeable musician. Aside from the fact that he has been a musician for longer than I have been alive, he is constantly pushes his own way of thinking and teaching his students to do the same. He takes a difficult concept and simplifies it into such a way that even beginner guitarists like me can catch on. He’s a great teacher and I would recommend him to anyone looking to learn the basics or sharpen their already advanced skills. You can learn a lot from him.
Kevin is the best guitar teacher out there who gave me the tools I needed to go on to be a Music Major. He works with your goals as a starting or experienced musician and explains and helps with everything so well. He goes out of his way and really made guitar lessons a highlight of my day. HIGHLY recommended!
Steve is a wonderful teacher. When I started lessons I had been playing for a while but I needed guidance on where to go from just basic chords and strumming patterns. Steve tailored my lessons to the genres I wanted to study while giving me exercises that would better my study no matter what direction I chose to go. We even started coupling the guitar lessons with banjo lessons! Steve is well versed in so many genres and instruments and on top of that, he is a friendly, patient and fun person who communicates well and is easy to get along with.
Juan is awesome and really seems to love the art of teaching. He can explain a technique and then play examples on his guitar. Just my first lesson but I really am looking forward to the next one !!!
I exchanged a few messages with Laura about the possibility of taking guitar lessons. She responded quickly and answered all of my questions. Unfortunately, I am only in town for a short amount of time, and things did not work out. I definitely recommend Laura if you're looking for someone who is kind, professional, and easy-going!
Keith teaches my son beginning guitar lessons and has been great. He is patient and really individualizes our lessons for my sons specific needs. He brings hand outs which is great-my son can practice on his own, and if we ever forget something or can't figure out how to play something he is very open to questions anytime.
Jason is awesome. It started out with my daughter taking lessons from him, now it's both of us. First of all, my daughter Lauren is 5 years old. 5. Literally just started Kindergarten. She can't read - but she can do a power chord. That's all due to Jason's help. It takes serious patience to teach a five year old how to play guitar. Not just patience... but Jason is a pleasure to have in our home. He's great with my daughter. And... great at teaching an adult too. I've only been playing guitar for a few months, but people think I've been at it a while.
Joey has been our guitar instructor for almost 3 years and we adore him. He has been great as an instructor but we had no idea how amazing he would be as a mentor for our son as he came into teenage years. He has helped to dispell stigmas of what "cool" music is all about which is so great with an angsty teenager. This has all been through private lessons and we are just switching to G4 and super pumped.

High skill level , great work for a fraction of the cost.
Hi, my name is Ezequiel prado. It's really simple, I give my students the beginners lessons, and basic skills to continue on their own. I don't let my students down. I guarantee that my students will learn how to play.
I teach students life lessons along with technical skills on the guitar.
