OJ is 1 of the best personal trainers I've ever come into contact with. For starters, your initial meeting is a workout created to personalize your strengths and weaknesses for future sessions. Afterwards, he speaks with you regarding your target goals, time frame, ideal weight etc. Meanwhile, he's compiling a special profile just for you in his computer. He sends weekly updates on your progress like: body fat percentage and weight loss/gain. In addition, he also sends motivational text messages during the week. When I first decided to start working out with a personal trainer, I looked online for personal trainers in Pasadena. I ultimately decided to go with Hugo based on all of the positive reviews I read of him on here. Since the reviews initially helped me make a decision on choosing Hugo as my personal trainer, I just had to leave my own review. Before committing to train with Hugo, he offered me an introductory deal so that I could experience working out with him. The first couple sessions he evaluated my strength, endurance, and overall physical ability. Once my fitness level and goals were established, Hugo set up a training program and nutritional plan for me. He begins every session by explaining and demonstrating the exercises in the circuit. He also clarifies and demonstrates the importance of proper form, which makes it really easy for me since I'm a visual learner. At any point during the exercise if I forget to use proper form, Hugo reminds me and encourages me throughout. He is very good at helping me understand which muscles each exercise is working out. I like how during every session, he is focused, patient, and motivates me to make sure I'm giving it my all. His professionalism and friendliness make it all that much more of a positive experience training with him. I've been training with Hugo for about three months now, and I can say that I'm truly happy with my results so far. My strength and endurance have greatly increased since our first session. I've noticed my body fat decrease and my muscle mass increase. I also feel much better when I'm exercising and eating healthy, it has greatly helped with my anxiety. I definitely plan on continuing to train with Hugo. I'm excited to see how my fitness level and physique continue to progress. I'm glad that I chose Hugo as my personal trainer, it is obvious that he loves what he does and cares about his clients. Wanna be a superhero? Training with Paul Harvey is better than gamma radiation or radioactive spider bites. After a lifetime of reading comic books and benching 135 pounds, I put myself through as much self motivated training as I possibly could. There were improvements but also serious stalls in progress and impenetrable plateaus. I could not get my size past 175 lbs and had average strength. Then at 41 years of age I opted for personal training. I had two simple goals: size past 180 lbs and improved strength across the board. Paul laughed at the first goal, and said no problem. I had my doubts because I had great trouble with gains. I blew past 180 lbs, at 2 years I was steady at 195 lbs, and last summer was 205 lbs. As for strength (and there are a lot of stronger people out there) I exceeded my expectations with a 310 pound bench, 495 pound dead lift, and pulling the entire stack on half a dozen different pieces of exercise equipment. Being a client of Paul's is fun, hard work, and motivating. I catch myself 'prepping' for my workouts in advance to make sure they go well. Now at 44 I get to feel like a superhero.

I have trained with Paul Harvey for 5+ years. I have been working with various trainers for 15 years total, and had never found one who understood my goals and knew how to achieve them. When I started with Paul I was 178 lbs. At 6'4" tall, that was very skinny. My goal was to put on lean muscle. I've added about 30lbs of lean muscle and have a six pack. Paul advises me on how to achieve my goals both inside the gym and at home. He is a smart guy and can carry on a conversation about more than just working-out. He makes me laugh and we have lively debates about current events. Even when I take the skills I've learned from him to my own solo workouts, I still never sweat as much as I do when I work out with Paul. He is a great motivator.

I was introduced to Coach Hunter when my son was in the 8th grade. I was told that he was one of the best 1-on-1 coaches in the San Gabriel Valley. When we met Coach Hunter, my son had been a long time offensive lineman who had suddenly grew in height and lost a considerable amount of weight. As a result, my son was no going to be considered for the offensive line in high school. I asked Coach Hunter if he could convert my son into a wide receiver since he had decent hands and was 5' 11" in the 8th grade. To which he agreed to help Coach Hunter's rigorous workouts, his attention to detail and his customized training had an immediate impact on my son's performance. Within a short period of time, my son was not only competing as a wide receiver, he became a starting wide receiver at his high school. Due to the tremendous amount of success that we experienced so quickly, I promised Coach Eric that he would remain my son's personal trainer throughout high school. This year, my son achieved what only 2% of all high school football players achieve. My son received a full scholarship to play football for a Division 1 school as a wide receiver. For a kid who only has played wide receiver for four years, the odds of achieving such a feat is tremendous. We owe all of it to the work of Coach Hunter. Coach Hunter is a man dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of football. He has expert knowledge on both sides of the ball and has been a great mentor to my son, on and off of the field. Not to mention his rates are extremely reasonable and well worth it. I highly recommend Coach Hunter for any parent who is looking to have their child compete at the high school and college levels.

I have hired Manuk as my personal trainer because I'm Sweatin' for the Wedding. My wedding is in a couple of months and after searching for several private instructors I picked Manuk. Why? Because he guaranteed me results in a healthy way. No gimmicks. I've been training with Manuk for a little over 2 months and I have lost a healthy 15 pounds! I feel so energetic after workouts and Manuk is there to motivate me for every step, every jump, every mountain climber, every push up I do. Jake helped me with training advice and nutrition advice when he used to live in the UK, before he moved to LA. His information has really helped me, both in terms of improving health and fitness levels. LOVE LOVE LOVE MORGAN!!!!! I've been working with Morgan for over a year now since Feb 2016. I started with her to get stronger because I had a minor injury in my pelvis and also to get strong enough to wear heels and feel great at my wedding which was May 2015. I am already a small frame and thin person so it was never about appearance for me, I really wanted someone who would understand how to work with me, and my body... to strengthen my back, to tone my arms... to make me feel GREAT and give me a boost of energy and better mood. Morgan did all of those things and I've stayed with her ever since. I honestly would rather give my every last dime to have her personal training with me than eat or shop or anything else. It has been the best experience for me. Her energy is infectious, she is sensitive and caring and in tune with what I need, want and how to push me in the right way that I stay motivated. I can't say enough about Morgan, her skills, the variety of the exercises keeps it interesting. She is patient, which with me I really need. We've done everything from sweating buckets workouts with kettle bells to yoga to you name it. I have never felt better, looked better, and I owe that all to Morgan. She understands anatomy and it really helps that she has such varied experience in her training from physique 57 to yoga to this and that. If I could afford it I would have her work with me every day of the week! I've worked with several other folks and nobody comes close to Morgan. I hope I never leave LA because I could not envision my day to day without her cheering me on and pushing me towards my goals.

LivePhysical Fitness is the second best find I have made on the internet, right behind my fiancé. I highly recommend Adrien as a personal trainer. He is consistent, motivates you, and I noticed results within the first month. I work with Adrien twice a week. Phil is the perfect trainer if you're looking for someone who: Focuses on fitness and health as well as looking good. Is excellent at assessing the best workout for you according to what you want. Is a positive motivator. Has a great sense of humor and at the same time is professional and conscientious. I've had several trainers over the years. When my friend asked me if I wanted to train with Phil I was hesitant. Being a trained massage therapist and reflexologist, I'm educated in anatomy and physiology. Jim is an excellent trainer. He has great rapport, and he's very creative and inventive in coming up with ways to build muscle and core strength and stamina . So far we've met three times, and I feel 100% better already - fatigued but with a feeling of accomplishment. I actually look forward to each workout because I know Jim will help me meet my goals. What I like about Jim the best, though, is something he does after the workout. He just texts a word of encouragement or a thumbs up or a note on how I did. I have recently started training with Eddie, not the first trainer I have had, although definitely the best to date. Finding a personal trainer who makes you feel comfortable enough to reveal your biggest flaws, is most definitely a challenge. Setting up my first appointment with Steve was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. In the past, I had many problems and issues with my body (e.g. tennis elbow, wrist/grip issues, and other orthopedic problem). I didn’t have the knowledge nor the confidence to go to the gym without the fear of injuring myself from my physical limitations. However, Steve helped me resolve these issues by focusing on proper form in order to prevent injuries. He designed personalized routines that tailored to my condition and needs. After several weeks, I began to see significant improvements in my body such as gain in muscle mass and strength. Now, I’m able to finish any type of exercises/workout routines appropriately and accurately without injuring myself. I think the improved results from working with Steve spoke the most. Despite my physical limitations, I was able to successfully gain strength and stability without any problems. In fact, issues with my body (tennis elbow, wrist/grip issues, and orthopedic problem) have begun to disappear. At the same time, I was also able to lift heavier weights. I won’t be as strong as I am now without Steve. I have trained with Steve for almost six months now and I am planning to continue. The workout plans he designed and created for me were never boring and always appropriately scaled to my level of difficulty. I strongly believe that the quality of his training and his guidance on nutrition are the reasons why I am able to reach my fitness goals, and ultimately become a happier and stronger person. If you are looking for an authentic trainer, who really cares about you, is well educated, knows almost everything about how a body works, and understands nutrition, then Steve is your guy!

Steve is a nice guy. He help me to become good at soccer. Simply, he knows everything about what the body needs and the food that is healthy for me. When I have pain, for example, in my arms, legs, hand, wrist, and back, he know how to heal that pain. I'm really glad that I chose him as my personal trainer. I really enjoy training with him because I get motivation from him whether by making jok about me by saying that he trains a woman that is stronger than me or by telling me no time for rest and to get serious. I have been trained with Steve for almost 6 months and I wanted to continued with him but I had to get back to my home country for some reasons. If I had stayed, I would have kept training with him. I could say that I got improved at soccer because my friends and the people I play with noticed that. I noticed that myself and Steve was the one who helped me getting that improvement. Thanks Steve for everything I'll keep training until I become stronger and maybe even stronger and reach my goal :(

I've been training with Dan consistently over the past year, 2x's a week. This is honestly the best shape I've ever been in my life! Dan makes sure to switch up his workouts to keep them challenging and also fun. Adding circuit training to my weekly regimen has not only changed my appearance, it has also improved my overall health. You'll find yourself getting into the habit of staying active on your own time and making better choices when it comes to your diet. I've been training with Hiram for over a year, he's very professional and knows his stuff. Most trainers I've encountered are always just about the money, Hiram cares about his clients and wants to see you obtain your goals. My experience with Chris in Santa Monica is awesome. I needed a great personal trainer to take my fitness to the next level. He's very intelligent and accommodating.
