We hired Tony for a family reunion of well over 200 people. He arrived well before the guests to set up his bar and equipment. His bar is outstanding! We were all very impressed with his professionalism, sense of humor, and respect he showed toward everyone. All drinks requested were provided, not to mention some going back to the 1960's. The price for his services was unbeatable. Will definitely hire Tony again.
Open Bar provided services for my grandmother's funeral and I couldn't ask for a more professional service and at the price they charged, it felt like a steal. It was so easy to book them - Brooke, one of the owners was incredibly responsive and indulged all of my questions - and communicating my needs for the event was easy and stress-free. The bartender arrived early, was dressed very professionally, and maintained an air about him that was perfect for the tone (being a funeral and all). He made sure my parents were taken care of, and kept the bar area neat. I can't recommend Open Bar enough!
Marcel was EXCELLENT! I had an unusual catering job, one he hadn't done before. He was terrific at following up with me, patient when I had to delay getting back to him, and took care to understand exactly what I needed. And then he carried it out to the letter, with perfect results. And he's super easy to work with. By sheer coincidence, one of my event attendees had used his catering services just a couple of months before, and also had only glowing reviews of his food and his service. If you have need for catering or chef services, you can't go wrong by hiring Marcel for the job. I can't wait to use him again!
I hired Jill's bartending service for an event I was hosting in which we had no idea what kind of drinks we wanted. Jill was great because she took charge and helped us create a perfectly themed drink menu that was appropriate for our event. During the event, she was awesome! Not only did she keep the drinks coming but she kept the attendees entertained. Jill was truly everything you want your bartender to be!
Rob bartended for an afternoon at my 40th poolside birthday party, expertly catering to the needs of 20 guests with diverse needs and requests. His drinks were top notch and he was proactive in asking guests what they wanted and making the pool rounds. And working with Rob was a breeze, as he was responsive to email and had helpful suggestions beforehand about the shopping and drink list. Five stars!!
I am very pleased to recommend Chef Travis Pena as a personal chef. I've retained Chef Travis for years to create fabulous dinner parties in the privacy of my home. In our initial interview, Chef Travis asked many specific questions and took notes as we discussed the style of food I would like served. He annotated likes and dislikes. Together we have created several personalized menus. Chef Travis delivers restaurant excellence as he both prepares and serves the meal. Chef Travis is always prepared and well organized with a very positive attitude. Working with Chef Travis each time is pleasant and stress free. Every meal is delicious and precisely prepared. I greatly enjoy leftovers the next day! As a Chef, Travis is professional in every aspect. He cleans efficiently while preparing fine cuisine leaving behind a clean kitchen and delicious food. The only traces of Chef Travis are the lovely aromas and stocked refrigerator. I would highly recommend Chef Travis as a private chef. His service and customer service are exceptional. Hiring Steven and his phenomenal crew was the best decision we could have made for our event! We were tremendously impressed by Steven's professionalism and flexibility to all of our requests, he is an incredibly smart and resourceful businessman and was able accommodate our many brand-standards (for a very attractive price) and wow our guests with the results. The food was simply delicious, the service was exceptional (very warm and affable) and the set up/breakdown was seamless even in our small half kitchen and office space! Madkins Catering catered for East Los Angeles College bookstore Department. We were having a holiday meeting; Madkins Catering was punctual and the food arrived hot and ready to serve. The staff was very friendly and professional. Madkins Catering is very cost efficient and will try to work with your set budget. I had a set company budget and Madkins Catering was able to accommodate us. Besides the food being delicious we had a good amount left over as well. We have alot more events in the near future, there's no doubt who we'll be using for catering. Thank you Delores and Madkins Catering for making our holiday meeting that much more memorable.

I hired APC valet for a corporate function/party held at my house in the hills in Orange County. Our driveway can be challenging and the extra parking spots are 0.3 miles away. Steve and Randall showed up to our house this last Saturday dressed with black pants and a white shirt. They had a large cone that said Valet and they had a lock box to hold all of our guests keys. They were friendly, professional and experienced. The dress code was important to me too and they were dressed to par. I felt my guests' cars would be in good hands with these two gentlemen. The evening was a success, my guests said the gentlemen that Valeted them were very polite and professional, everybody seemed happy. I will truly hire them again! This was our first time dealing with Eddie the owner of APC Valet company and AE event staff. He was extremely helpful and friendly and his communication skills are top notch. He says he also has staff and bartenders and all kinds of other event services. I will definitely hire his other staff too in the future. I went with a different company for my bar-tending and staffing needs, since I did not know at the time that Eddie had other staff then Valet services. The other company I hired, my bartender showed up 1 1/2 hr late and did not bring a server as hired. I should have completely gone with Eddie's staff instead. Live and learn and I will do it next time. If you are looking for a reputable company with all the insurance and liability coverage, with professional and experienced staff, then this is a company for you! This is what I learned today. They are a full event staff company as well. They just did the grand re opening of the Peterson museum last week. Josee

Our memorable highlights include The Jewel's of France in Beverly Hills for Juvenile Arthritis hosted by Teri Hatcher , MKG Emmy suite for breast cancer hosted by Adrienne Malouff, Project Angel Food hosted by Lisa Vanderpump. I hired Chef Mark and his fabulous catering company for our wedding this April in Newport Coast California. We absolutely adore his five star Pacific Rim cuisine. The catering crew was professional, kind and captivating. It truly made our Wedding Day special.
Alexis was amazing form start to finish! I was giving a last minute birthday party for my husband and 4 other friends. I had a theme in mind and a budget to work with for about 20 people. Alexis came up with great suggestions for my theme and stayed right on budget. She delivered, prepared and set up everything for me and all with grace and charm. The food was way beyond the quality I expected. I clearly got more than I paid for too. I highly recommend her custom catering services and will definitely call on her again when the need arrises.
I was in charge of bar services for my sister's 50th birthday and JaNae made the "job" easy for me. She was very pleasant to work with from the very beginning. She replied promptly to all my questions. She created the perfect signature drink for my sister. She and Alyssa showed up on the day of the event in a timely manner to set up, they were professionally dressed and with a vibrant, happy personality. They were a hit with all of our guests. They served delicious drinks, kept the lines to a minimum (150 guests) and overall their presence and service created a fun and positive atmosphere for our event. Eddy was incredible! The event was in Los Feliz where any day parking is a challenge. Eddy went to the property, assessed local available parking and gave a great estimate on the number of valets which would be required to service 50+ cars. When I arrived, there were valets available, extremely helpful and polite. When leaving, my car was delivered in a most timely manner. I am a corporate catering manager in Orange County and I'm pretty anal about details. I am very impressed with the service and so were all of the guests, because I asked.
