I contacted this site for piano lessons originally for my niece as a gift. I was put in contact with California Music Studios. My niece has been taking lessons for a couple of years now with them. After my gift certificate I purchased was over, her parents decided to continue with the lessons. She just loves her teacher so much. I decided recently that I wanted to play drums. I reached out once again to them. The staff was super friendly and easy to work with and they hooked me up with an AMAZING teacher who I intend to take from for a long time. Everything has Ben a win, win, win, and an extra win for me!

I just started piano lessons in June/ July with Ms. Choi. She is absolutely amazing! I have never found a teacher so great. She is always on time, and has taught me so much in such a short amount of time. She is very sweet and you can tell she is the type of teacher that actually cares about her students. She wants to see them grow and improve. I would recommend her to anyone, any age. I also love that she has recitals every year for her students to get to know each other and have fun. She is the best piano teacher I've ever had and I would definitely recommend trying her.

Going to Peaceland Music has been a very outstanding experience. My teacher, John, is very knowledgable with guitar, piano, and overall music theory. John is a very funny guy and I'm glad I've been taking guitar lessons with him for the past year and a half. He's made learning guitar very fun and interesting. Aside from learning scales and theory, you also can choose a song and John can work on it with you and help you make your performance of it better. But make sure to practice the theory and scales he gives you! You will fall behind very quick, because the lessons build off of what you previously learned. John is very good at working with people at a variety of different levels. It doesn't matter if you're beginning, intermediate, or advanced, he'll work with you at your level and help build on what you know.

Hi. I'm Lara, and I want to teach you how to play the piano. I believe that music is one of God's greatest gifts, and I aim to bring out the natural music that already exists in each of our hearts. (It's not cheesy, it's real, I promise!) Here's the coach difference: As a piano coach, it is my specialty to motivate and inspire you to be a great pianist along with the standard teaching of how to play the piano. Music is from the heart. It is passion, it is natural. Learning music is not about technique. It is about love. What does this mean? In almost all regards, we've gotten further away from the heart, and it seems it has become harder to tap into our nature with the demands of daily life. By focusing on the natural aspects of the music as opposed to the man-made elements (such as correct fingering, for example) we are able to avert the intimidation of facing the awe-inspiring allure of the 88 keys. This does not mean we ignore the technical aspects of playing by any means. It just means that it is not our primary focus. Together, we will set goals, work toward them, and accomplish your musical dreams. I will teach you the following: 1. How to read music. 2. Correct classical technique. 3. Music theory. 4. How to improve your listening skills. 5. How to channel your emotion into the music and really feel what you're playing. Along with, of course, standing by your side throughout your growth process and cheering you on throughout the way. Thumbtack has awarded me the Best of 2015 award for piano lessons! Thank you to all of my students (past, present and future) for your support and hard work that makes great things like this possible!

Charlyn is extremely patient and offers lots of positive feedback and encouragement. My kids came a long way, fast, under her tutelage. I also take lessons from her and although I don't practice as much as I should, she is never judgmental or disappointed. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a teacher. She's got a great personality, easy to talk to, and all around a very nice person and great teacher!

Mayuko's piano teaching is nothing short of miraculous. She is able to treat our 6-year-old daughter like a kid but also pushes her to reach her fullest potential. As a result, our daughter has progressed far beyond our expectations in only six months, while enjoying the process and not only respecting but loving her teacher very much!

My son took piano lessons with Danielle when she was in Irvine and we loved how she worked with him. She offered incentive programs (Mozart Money and sticker charts) and put together beautiful recitals. She has a great personality and is able to relate to young kids in a way that our previous piano teacher didn't. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a teacher for younger children.

I am still a piano student of Dennis's and have really enjoyed my lessons with him this past year. Being a teacher myself, I find Dennis's teaching skills to be highly effective and motivating. He provides me with a great balance of education in music theory and technique and is extremely open to the pieces of music I want to learn. My piano lessons are a wonderful gift to myself!

I loved taking voice and piano lessons with Belinda! She is definitely very knowledgable on voice and was able to help me improve on my vocal weaknesses. She also taught me to play piano and sing at the same time, which is something I love doing now!

Nate has taught piano to all three of our boys, who now are age 8, 12, and 15. He also led our oldest son's garage band. He has a talent for communicating with kids, where he's fun but also keeps them on task, all while remaining flexible as well. I can see intellectual kids especially liking him. We're big fans of NDT.

I am an adult student that has been learning the piano from Susan for about 4 months now, and I am enjoying every lesson thoroughly. Susan is an extremely patient teacher with great experience. I had about 2-3 years experience with western classical music on the piano before beginning my lessons with her, but still had difficulty in sight reading. Susan immediately identified my problem and suggested a method to correct it, and it is working extremely well! She also is very methodical in teaching and this helps tackle difficult pieces with utmost ease. I love the fact that she is very flexible, and gives importance to mastering a piece more than anything else. Loving every bit of my lessons with her!

My daughter started with voice lessons with Tash who was EXTREMELY patient with her. She didn't go straight into teaching her about her voice though. She wanted to help her with voice training and I could see the improvement. She really enjoyed being in the same room with her and I felt I made the best decisions. I highly recommend EBD Music lessons

Mr. Ven Olac is a pianist and currently, he is my daughter's (8) years old instructor. He is very patient and explains the fundamentals of the learning piano very well. In every lesson, he touch every area of the art of playing and puts it together so that the student knows the purposes. Don't expect stickers for your child like other instructors do even when not deserved. But he has a way of encouraging my daughter the value of practicing multiple times before each class. He even reminds my wife and I via phone text to make sure my daughter practices. The fee is very reasonable but the service we get is huge. At the end of the first real lesson, he even gave my daughter a grand tour of his Japanese botanical and small pond with beautiful and exotic fish garden. Not to mislead anyone, he is Russian, and most famous composers are Russians. In general, Mr. Olac is very professional, very passionate in what he is doing and very kind. You will be pleased at what he does and you will see the progress in your child in a very short time. I am glad to have him as my daughter's piano instructor!
