I absolutely recommend using Dj Charlie as your Wedding MC/DJ. For Ceremony, Reception Lighting and special effects. He is so easy to work with and does a great job at getting people up and dancing at the reception. I think the Dj is so important to a Wedding and Charlie added so much to our special day. He was such a First Class Professional guy. When we first met Dj Charlie he was professional and organized which inmediately made me interested in using him as our Dj, he was exactly what we asked for at our Wedding. So when it came time to start the planning process of our Wedding we contacted him many times and he was able to respond promptly. From Begining to end He was so amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better MC/DJ, so professional and yet seemed like a part of our family. Dj Charlie was fantastic. He was able to bring friends and family of all ages to the dancefloor He actually meets with you as a couple in advance to find out all about you and then ensures that everything in your Wedding on your Wedding day is just the way you want it. At the end of the night my guests were saying how great our dj was. We have referred all of our other friends to him who will be getting married in the near future. Valet parking, security, and clean up crew for wedding at private estate in Beverly Hills on Saturday, June 27, 2015. Eddy personally handled my wedding needs with the utmost care and professionalism. He arrived the day before while the other vendors were setting up to inspect the estate, and also was present both during the Saturday wedding as well as Sunday clean up. I greatly appreciate his firm being able to provide/handle all my service needs. The valets promptly and courteously parked all my guests vehicles while serving as the front line in guarding against tourists from entering the estate. All the valets had uniforms on as well as the security guards arrived in a black suits with ties. Every guard did their job while courteously addressing all my guests. Finally, the clean up thoroughly cleaned the estate the next day with no damage. Eddy and his crew did everything they were supposed to do, and did so professionally, courteously, and promptly. Incidentally, one of my wedding guests used Eddy's service for his Malibu wedding in 2014, and was equally satisfied. The host/owner of the estate also enjoyed Eddy's service, and though I have not followed up, indicated he would use Eddy. Lastly, Eddy is a retired policeman. What this potentially means is that he has a way to chat up other police officers in case you need help managing police when you party or event may run a tad long into the evening or is too loud ;-)
We truly cannot say enough good things about Jessica and Dustin. We initially were planning on doing all of the wedding planning but realized with about a month and half to go that we desperately needed a day-of coordinator. Jessica jumped right in and took the reins, making sure that we were able to enjoy our wedding day and leave the logistics to her team. She handled all of the details with care and was an organized and detailed professional throughout the entire process. This was easily the best money we spent on the wedding and were really able to enjoy our wedding day thanks to the hard work put in by Jessica and Dustin. You will not regret hiring 3 Little Bird Event Planning and will love working with Jessica and Dustin!!!
In the past five years my husband and I have attended several fantastic entertainment and charitable fundraisers produce by The Mark Kearney Group. Our memorable highlights include The Jewel's of France in Beverly Hills for Juvenile Arthritis hosted by Teri Hatcher , MKG Emmy suite for breast cancer hosted by Adrienne Malouff, Project Angel Food hosted by Lisa Vanderpump. I hired Chef Mark and his fabulous catering company for our wedding this April in Newport Coast California. We absolutely adore his five star Pacific Rim cuisine. The catering crew was professional, kind and captivating. It truly made our Wedding Day special.
I hired Sierra Madre to cater a come-and-go brunch for close friends and out-of-town guests the morning after my daughter’s wedding. Initially I was concerned about travel time from Monrovia to my home in the Larchmont area of Los Angeles, but Tonya (owner-chef) assured me she would allow for all eventualities and be there with plenty of time to set up and be ready before the guests arrived. The menu was mimosas, orange juice, lox, bagel & cream cheese (with the usual trimmings), vegetarian omelets, pancakes, cut fruit, and sour cream coffee cake, coffee and tea. Everything turned out perfect! Tonya and her assistant, Chris, were at my house early, got set up and were ready to go before the guests started arriving. The food was wonderful. The on-the-spot food, pancakes and omelets, were outstanding; and Tonya’s sour cream coffee cake was a BIG hit. The guests loved everything. The only glitch was an under estimation of how much lox, bagels and cream cheese the guests would consume. Fortunately, I had anticipated that could happen and had an extra 60 ounces of lox on hand and an extra pint of cream cheese, and we have two bagel shops within walking distance. Tonya was great to work with and having her cater made my life so much easier. It was a beautiful brunch, within my budget, and I am thankful that I took the chance on hiring her company as I had relied solely on the Thumbtack reviews when I made the choice. I’ll definitely use Sierra Catering again. The only suggestion I might make is that more attention be paid to the serving dishes used. Mixing bowls really aren’t attractive bowls to put on the buffet table.
Angela has a gift! Not only is her work beautiful, but she is so easy to work with and worked with me to get my wedding invitations out asap. I live in Texas and I chose her, all the way in California, and I got my invites back in 2 days! She's the best and I will use her again without a doubt. Also, her pricing was very reasonable, better than people here in Dallas. Use her! You won't regret it!
One Hot Dish Catering Co. is amazing. They came down to Yorba Linda last month to cater our wedding of over 125 people. The wedding started at 6pm and they showed up very early to set up, meet with my wife about the location and agenda as well as to handle all the prep that was required. They went above and beyond with their gourmet 50/50 burgers and 3 cheese macaroni. Our guests are still complementing us on the food and catering we had at our special day. I would recommend One Hot Dish Catering to anyone looking for a small or large party. They are classy and will make sure you are well taken care of. We will be using them for all our events in the future.
Olivia executed the calligraphy on my envelopes for my bridal shower invitations, wedding invitations, and wedding thank you cards. Her work is stylish and beautiful, and definitely added that element of personalization that I wanted for my guests. I greatly appreciated her professionalism during each project as she was highly responsive, able to tweak things as needed, and completed each project within the deadlines that I asked for. I will continue to use her services for all my future calligraphy needs.
Omg the wedding planner and decorator sent from the Gods!! A bit dramatic for me to say, i know, but Nicole saved me! I tried to plan my own wedding, even got my mom involved and that took a turn for the worse. Nicole met with us, spoiled us with cold champagne, we talked about every detail and it she hit the ground running. It was amazing to see her level of expertise and decisiveness. So happy she could plan and decorate my wedding so magnificently ! You are an angel and I recommend Nicole and her fun team to anyone who is looking for a planner or designer. Joanne and her team were amazing to work with. They're a newer company and ready to go above and beyond to make your day happen. She was responsive and thorough, which made wedding planning less stressful and fun! She gave my husband and I a lot of options and were able to work with our budget without compromising the things we wanted. She connected me with a local florist and videographer. Their services exceeded my expectations and were great to work with as well. Joanne also arrived early on the day of my wedding to make sure the vendors were on track. Tiffany was the day-of coordinator for our wedding back in August and let me tell you she was an absolute GOD SEND. She's very organized/detail-oriented and incredible at keeping track of all the moving parts of our wedding BUT what sets her aside from my other vendors is that she has this super friendly and happy personality that instantly puts you in this relax and calm state. I cannot stress how important that was for me to have someone on my side during all the wedding craziness. I had a couple difficult family members that were acting out on the wedding day and she handled all of them with ease and grace. You just know from beginning to end that her number one goal is to make the day run as smoothly as possible. Before the wedding day she answered every one of my emails and phone calls promptly and always made me feel prioritized. She also gave a lot of great advice based on her experiences wedding planning. Honestly, her prices are unbeatable for the level of service she provides. Snatch her up fast because her calendar fills up very quickly!
I hired Golden State Events for my wedding, they had a million things thrown at them. There were issues with the band, power for the microphone at the ceremony, hotel dropping the ball on meals for my guests, and I never heard a peep. Everything was taken care of and everyone had such an amazing time. Every detail was thoughtful and beautiful. Really grateful we were able to work with Golden State Events. Jessell planned our wedding. She coordinated everything. She worked with the caterer, florist, DJ, and production company...all we had to do was say "yes" or "no". Her onsite team was awesome and kept things running. Our friends are still talking about how cool it was. We would not have done anything differently, so 5 stars all around!

I had the best experience with Victoria. She had amazing ideas for my wedding day. The touch of blues in a silver and white tone theme added elegance and grace, just as I was imagining it. All flowers were really fresh and guests were all eager to take it home after. Despite the great work, I had no issues communicating and from the start of our consultation, I noticed how quickly I was understood with my requests. My bouquet was so full and heavy, so I know I got my money’s worth. Definitely a to-go-to florist with any wants and needs that will be fulfilled beyond expected.
Christine was our day of wedding planner although she spent several months leading up to our wedding day meeting with us in person and answering our emails. At first we considered not going with a planner at all to save money but with almost 200 guests, including children, it was one of the best decisions we made. Christine was knowledgeable, organized, considerate, and listened to our requests without pushing her own vision on us. She made us feel so at ease during our rehearsal and completely stress-free the day of, handling all of the details, coordinating with vendors, and keeping us plus our families on time throughout the day.
