Being an athlete my entire life I have had many coaches, personal trainers, and workout experiences. The workouts OJ from One Body has designed to meet my workout goals have been extremely challenging and a perfect addition to my current workout regiment. I am impressed by his professionalism and consistent communication with me in order to assist me in reaching my goals.
Why does one pay money to have someone else cause physical exhaustion, fatigue, and suffering? Because it's good for you! The trainers at SBT are excellent and definitely push you out of your comfort zone. Sometimes, a workout can feel a bit long when performing four sets consisting of 20 rep combos of three different patterns, so my wife and I prefer three sets to get a more varied workout (even if we are working the same muscle groups). This helps keep us from being bored during the workout and losing motivation. Our primary trainer is Josh, the owner of this fine establishment. He has a good sense of where his clients' comfort zones are and how to push beyond while still ensuring that they enjoy the workout. He regularly inquires about any tightness or consistent discomfort we may be experiencing in order to prevent pulls or tears. At one point, my wife's IT band tightened up after doing many squats and lunges, so he helped her massage it out and provided some guidance for relieving pain over the next couple of days. The trainers at SBT are also about more than just the workouts. They provide nutrition advice, and tips for general dietary wellness. It is clear that their goal is for you to achieve your goal, and they first determine that by sitting down with you and having a conversation about what it is that you want to accomplish. Day 1 consists of a standard set of exercises that will assess your general state, but will leave you sore for a day or two. In general, most of the workouts have left at least one region of muscles sore. However, after having been there for eight visits so far, the workouts have gotten less painful but are still effective and exhausting. One of the best perks about SBT is the flexibility that they exhibit with workouts. You basically can come any time that you would like, and there will always be at least two trainers there. They try to give you a consistent experience by pairing you with a trainer that will be there for most of your anticipated visits, but any trainer can give you a good workout. If you miss some visits, they will either let you make them up, roll them over to the next month, or even refund you if you miss too many. They are very affordable, too, with nice facilities. Really, you can't go wrong as far as value and quality of experience goes.

You will get a great workout with this trainer! He has tons of experience as a professional athlete, coach and personal trainer so he can accurately assess your abilities, help you determine your goals and tailor workouts to help you achieve these goals. Though many clients seek Sean out for his basketball workouts and triathlon training, I was looking for an experienced trainer that wasn't going to give me the same old boring workouts with weights and machines. In our sessions after a cardio warm up we would do an assortment of exercises - some of which included Bosu ball burpees, pull ups and push ups with the TRX, the ropes, dogsled running, tire flips, jump rope, ladder drills, high kicks over hurdles, sprints, mountain climbers, leg lifts, shoulder weights, box jumps and sprints... there are many many more in the mix but you should try a session with him to see for yourself. I was training with Sean for over a year before I got pregnant; he helped keep me healthy throughout the nine months by adjusting my workout to fit my needs and then kept me motivated and disciplined with our workouts to a point where I felt even more fit post pregnancy. On top of all that he's hilarious and will have you laughing in between sets. I would still be working out with him now if he hadn't moved to CA!

I have been training with Alex for the past nine months. Alex is a professional and he know's exactly what he's doing. When I first started training with Alex, I was out of shape and had no balance. Alex conditioned me and got my body back in balance. We have done weight training and there has been a huge improvement in my muscles. I get compliments all the time about how fit and muscular I am now. Even other trainers and members at the gym are impressed by my progress and I owe it all to Alex. He motivates me and pushes me through our workouts that I wouldn't be able to do without his motivation.

After going through numerous trainers and fitness programs, Dave has been THE one to make me feel how I want to feel. Within just a few weeks of working with him, I noticed I was stronger and faster. Shortly thereafter, I was beginning to see the results I wanted to see: I was getting more lean; I felt great throughout the day; and my sleep improved tremendously. Dave is a motivator and good-hearted person to boot. I couldn't recommend Dave enough.
