Our project was a complete wall-to-ceiling remodel on a 2-bed, 1-bath unit (1K sf) that hadn't been updated for over three decades. It was a beast, but Bruno and his team took it on. When the city permitting process gave us some guff, Bruno and his staff handled it promptly, keeping us abreast of the process throughout and assuaging our concerns. They did not cut corners to achieve compliance, but rather came up with innovative methods (and worked with city officials) to ensure our unit is up to code.
Consistent updates from Bruno's team made it so that we could be confident about the project's progress without feeling compelled to want to micromanage. In other words, all we had to do is decide on materials and follow the pay schedule and VF Construction and Design did the rest, relieving us of the overall stress while still keeping us in-the-know re: any setbacks/pitfalls.
Perhaps one of the more memorable moments was when my elderly mother, who lives about a 20 minute drive from the project location, endured a plumbing issue. I informed Bruno, who promptly sent members of his team to fix it. They didn't even charge us for it.
Here's the bottom line: Bruno and VF Construction and Design does not appear to only want to do a job and move on to the next. They appear to be playing the long game: forming relationships with clients so they will come back with future projects. In our case, they were successful. We just hope they don't get too popular, because we have projects coming up in the future for which we'd like to employ them.
