I've been working with trainers for about 10 years, and JJ is truly the best trainer I have ever had. He is truly invested in helping you achieve your goals, and he provides me with the push and support that I need. Instead of doing the same thing over and over again (like so many trainers do), he varies the workouts and will adapt the routine to my energy and strength level... all while keeping me on track and pushing me. Better yet, he's a great guy. JJ was an awesome find, and I have no doubt that I'll continue to see amazing results.
Being an athlete my entire life I have had many coaches, personal trainers, and workout experiences. The workouts OJ from One Body has designed to meet my workout goals have been extremely challenging and a perfect addition to my current workout regiment. I am impressed by his professionalism and consistent communication with me in order to assist me in reaching my goals.
When I first decided to start working out with a personal trainer, I looked online for personal trainers in Pasadena. I ultimately decided to go with Hugo based on all of the positive reviews I read of him on here. Since the reviews initially helped me make a decision on choosing Hugo as my personal trainer, I just had to leave my own review. Before committing to train with Hugo, he offered me an introductory deal so that I could experience working out with him. The first couple sessions he evaluated my strength, endurance, and overall physical ability. Once my fitness level and goals were established, Hugo set up a training program and nutritional plan for me. He begins every session by explaining and demonstrating the exercises in the circuit. He also clarifies and demonstrates the importance of proper form, which makes it really easy for me since I'm a visual learner. At any point during the exercise if I forget to use proper form, Hugo reminds me and encourages me throughout. He is very good at helping me understand which muscles each exercise is working out. I like how during every session, he is focused, patient, and motivates me to make sure I'm giving it my all. His professionalism and friendliness make it all that much more of a positive experience training with him. I've been training with Hugo for about three months now, and I can say that I'm truly happy with my results so far. My strength and endurance have greatly increased since our first session. I've noticed my body fat decrease and my muscle mass increase. I also feel much better when I'm exercising and eating healthy, it has greatly helped with my anxiety. I definitely plan on continuing to train with Hugo. I'm excited to see how my fitness level and physique continue to progress. I'm glad that I chose Hugo as my personal trainer, it is obvious that he loves what he does and cares about his clients. I definitely recommend Hugo for anyone looking for a personal trainer, you will not regret it!
I've started training with Ted 2 days a week at his private gym and I'm really enjoying it. He definitely knows his stuff. He's like a fountain of information when it comes to exercises and nutrition. I feel like I'm getting stronger and healthier every week. Looking forward to seeing some great results.

Hands down Jobi Morrison is the BEST personal trainer! I have been training with Jobi for 5 years. I'm the strongest I have ever been! My workouts are never boring. I always look forward to see how he will challenge me with cardio, strength and balance and I am never disappointed! I have trained with Paul Harvey for 5+ years. I have been working with various trainers for 15 years total, and had never found one who understood my goals and knew how to achieve them. When I started with Paul I was 178 lbs. At 6'4" tall, that was very skinny. My goal was to put on lean muscle. I've added about 30lbs of lean muscle and have a six pack. Paul advises me on how to achieve my goals both inside the gym and at home. He is a smart guy and can carry on a conversation about more than just working-out. He makes me laugh and we have lively debates about current events. Even when I take the skills I've learned from him to my own solo workouts, I still never sweat as much as I do when I work out with Paul. He is a great motivator.

Vinny has been an extremely motivating force in my life. I had always been intimidated by the gym scene and by trainers. Vinny alleviated both of these fears very quickly by instilling in me a sense of self confidence that I could absolutely meet my goals. He helped me realize the proper ways to eat and how frequently to increase my energy and metabolism. My body fat has decreased while my lean muscle mass has increased. He constantly challenges me and has made me realize that I am capable of anything, even the confidence to defend myself. Because I never thought that I could defend myself if I was ever attacked. This confidence has transferred over to many facets of my life.

Sandy is not your typical trainer but shes a good one! She doesnt yell at you and push you until you cry. Rather she counts your reps, cracks a joke, or talks to you to make the session time pass quickly. She keeps things from getting stale by never doing the exact same exercises in consecutive meetings. Sandy knows so many exercise variations that she will adapt your training if you dont like a particular exercise or want to focus on improving one thing or another. She is also one of the few trainers that is willing to come to your house or a local park to train you. I highly recommend her. Shell get you into better shape if youre willing to put in the effort too.
I've been training with Chris twice and it's been great! He will customize my individual workout plan according to my ideal body shape/results and we can always change an exercise to another if it's difficult. Nice and professional, recommend to everyone.
My husband and I have been working out with Derek for over a year now. We've had trainers before and Derek is by far the best! He knows every muscle in your body and he comes to every session with a plan on how to get the most out of them. He encourages you to work out without being too tough, and the results speak for themselves. We both feel stronger, healthier even a bit younger after working out with him. Even when we're not at the gym, Derek is with us: he emails helpful hints on diet and at-home workouts.
Jim is an excellent trainer. He has great rapport, and he's very creative and inventive in coming up with ways to build muscle and core strength and stamina . So far we've met three times, and I feel 100% better already - fatigued but with a feeling of accomplishment. I actually look forward to each workout because I know Jim will help me meet my goals. What I like about Jim the best, though, is something he does after the workout. He just texts a word of encouragement or a thumbs up or a note on how I did. I've worked out with many trainers in the past, and no one has done that. It's a great way to keep this 66 year old motivated. I highly recommend him.
Jacob trained me for 6 months and this being my first experience hiring a personal trainer, I was nervous about the experience. Jacob made me feel comfortable from the start and what I appreciated was the fact that he took the time to educate me about what the excersise or activity will accomplish. In addition, he performs a lot of different activities at every session so you will never be bored of doing routine training. I highly recommend him especially for first timers. I lost a total of 30 pounds and 10% body fat training with him for the 6 months but most importantly felt good about my fitness once again.

When I started working out I wasnt sure I was doing the exercises correctly. Vanesa made sure to explain the exercise in manner that I would understand and followed her verbal instruction by showing you the proper way. She also should you modification to make it easier for the beginner and harder for the more advanced insividual. She makes exercising fun and is always smiling. I learned alot from her and is by far one of the best trainers I know.
Worth every penny for sure. First, the facilities at Next Level Fitness are top notch and allow for variation in exercises. Equipment very well maintained. Lee is the type of trainer who listens to what you want to accomplish and helps you achieve that. I wanted someone to motivate me and push me and he was awesome at increasing intensity when needed while being very careful about avoiding injury. Knowing that I am a runner, Lee didn't focus as much on cardio. Instead, he tackled my weaknesses by focusing on compound movements and core exercises since I'm a beginner in strength training. In short, he is not a cookie-cutter trainer. The warm up and stretch routines he taught me have been very helpful in maintaining healthy and happy joints (specially since I run frequently). Furthermore, he helped learn how to continue training on my own beyond our sessions, unlike other trainers who just want your money. I feel prepared to hit the gym on my own for a while, but I will definitely be coming back to Lee. He is very flexible with his time and will go out of his way to accommodate you. Always on time, always prepared, very organized, and overall a pleasant person to be around.
There is no one I would get up for - early in the morning and drive for one hour - other than Donna. Not only is she THE MOST MARVELOUS TRAINER, but such a truly knowledgeable professional. There is no health/exercise question that she has not answered for me and has always been willing to enhance my knowledge, in addition to my exercise. She eats, sleep and breathes a healthy lifestyle and pushes me to do more without putting me at risk of injuring myself. For that, I am so grateful, because Donna always is looking out for my best interest. She is an exercise guru and such a caring human being. I would recommend Donna to ANYONE because she understands people and what their body needs. She listens and caters to each individual and their goals. I can say all of this because I have now known her as a client and friend for quite some time. I also have seen the results of her other clients I have come to know and have seen their transformations.
I've tried starting a gym routine half a dozen times in my life, and this is the first time it's ever stuck. Chris was patient, knowledgeable, and down to earth. He took his time to demonstrate every exercise he wanted me to do, and kept me motivated through each of the 20 sessions I signed up for. Now, for the first time in my life, I feel confident enough to go to the gym on my own, and motivated enough from the results of my training to keep a consistent workout schedule. I actually look forward to going to the gym now! I'll be signing up for more training in the future, and recommending Chris to family and friends.
My life had become the most hectic, crazy & tiring that it had ever gotten. Becoming a mom, commuting 2-3 hours a day...and barely sleeping can create a lot of commotion in life. I found myself needing something for just me...and as the universe has it...I saw a post from Sarah on a Facebook group for moms. I was interested mostly in what a Running Badass might be...maybe I could be? This coming from a self-proclaimed anti-runner, who hated it. I didn't have much of a choice for exercise due to a strenuous, daily commute and above all being a mommy to a 1-year old. Running was the most logical choice for me and it was something that would fit in my schedule, and I could also run with my baby..So, I nervously contacted Sarah. She took me by the hand with such acceptance and reassurance that I could definitely do this challenge and we agreed I would train for a 10k! I wanted something meaty because I felt like it would give me a sense of pride that was necessary for me. By my 3-month mark with Sarah's expert guidance and inspiration, I hit that 10k and completed it! Sarah ran by my side, the whole race! She is so committed to her team & it shows every day! How many coaches run WITH you your first time!? She gave daily inspiration, her talks were so helpful and she is committed just as much as you are to your goals! Sarah helped me become the Running Badass I NEVER knew I was!
