Rocco came to my home to cook for my guests. He did a great job !! While he was serving the food for us he was sharing his cooking experience and also he told us how to select healthy foods: while we were eating to hear his experience and knowledge about foods it was our appetizer! The food he cooked for us the flavor came from the food itself: our food it was not too spicy or add too much another thing to get the flavor ( like cream , too much butter or oil) but I can tell from the food flavor Rocco use fresh and organic food for his cooking and that gives his cooking very natural and healthy taste ! He is very charming and thoughtful! The food was phenomenal! I really recommended Rocco as a experienced chef for someone who need healthy and testy food for parties or for any event! I have a plant to hire him for all my future events. I really excited to know such a talented chef in the Bay Area!! Thank you so much Rocco to make my dinner party very special and an forgettable!!
They catered the appetizers and dinner and provided servers, tables and linens. The food was delicious and competitively priced. Evan was very responsive and made planning quick and easy.
Sat was incredible! He cooked an amazing 3 course meal for 8 assorted finicky, typical, crazy Bay Area dietary restricted people (gluten-free, lactose intolerant, vegetarian, etc.) and made us all happy!! I got stuck at work so I left a key under my mat for St to get in and start cooking. When I got home, my house smelled amazing! Sat found everything, was already cooking away and comfortable. He is not only a great chef, but a really warm and down to earth person. You can tell he loves what he does and it shows in his food. Aside from the fantastic herbed zucchini goat cheese appetizer that was scarfed down by everyoe rather quickly, we had the best kabocha squash soup I have ever had and grilled sea bass on a quinoa pilaf that was to die for. (My mouth is watering as I write this!) I had told Sat that I was going to do my own hors d'oeuvres and had bought some cheese and fruit spreads, baguette, grapes, etc. Sat offered to help me plate and arrange them and I wish I could channel him every time I entertain. My platters were gorgeous. I would (and will) hire Sat back in a heartbeat. I'm planning already......
Working within our budget, Stephanie created an appetizer menu that delighted our wedding guests. Stephanie stepped in with only a few days before our event and delivered all the items early. Before leaving Stephanie checked in with us to see if she had met our needs. We would hire her again in a heartbeat.
A Plus Catering did a fantastic job for my New Year's Eve/50th birthday party. Jennine sourced all the rentals and the DJ. Everything was delivered and picked up as requested. Full cost including rentals, DJ, bartender and two servers was kept within my budget. With Jennine providing everything needed I was able to relax in Hawaii, returning home late on the 30th. Everyone arrived timely, we had delicious appetizers and music playing before the guests arrived. Hot appetizers, drinks and a champagne toast at midnight! Thank you for making this happen Jennine ❤️
Andrea provided an excellent experience for us and our guests. She met with us beforehand to check out the kitchen and confirm our menu. The food was spectacular - from appetizers to dessert. Richmond Main Street was one of the first catering jobs that Quiche and Carry ever did. Deborah was great. She was very attentive to us as customers and wanted to make sure that she got it right. The quiches were delicious. She is very creative and knows how to mix flavors. I had never tried a dessert quiche before and was a bit skeptical but it was fantastic. I would highly recommend her. Although it was her first job she was great. We have used her since that first time and will continue to use her. Yum!

I had a great experience with hiring Kitchenina as our caterers for an event with 40 people. The communication was always prompt, polite and friendly. They did a great job on the day of the event to ensure that the food was delivered on time (despite the traffic/weather conditions) and made my job as the event organizer much easier. I would definitely work with Kitchenina again in the future, and regret that I did not take photos of the food! (Thanks for the brownies as well!)
The vegetarian meal that Grace catered for us at my home for my 70th birthday was superb. Fantastic artichoke appetizer, main course of 3 items that blended in flavors beautifully, and tiramisu that she made for dessert. She worked quietly, served, and then cleaned up. Very high recommendation!
Rose was great. From the appetizers to the salad right on thru the entrees. She's got a lot of new fans and I'm sure we'll be seeing her soon again.
This caterer prepared lunch for 30 people on Memorial Day for us. We found them on Thumbtack and we’re glad we went with them! Everything was as expected or better! First of all, their smoked ribs were AMAZING. Everything else (chicken skewers-very tender, deviled eggs with smoked bacon, garlic and honey meatballs, grilled corn, vegan pasta salad, arugula salad) was delicious as well. Everyone should add their Bourbon Banana Pudding for dessert, because it was so good! I love Paul Martin's banana cream pie, but this pudding was even better! I would definitely go back to them again. Too bad I forgot to take some photos!! And yes, they are very professional. Just tell Matt what you are looking for and he'll come up with a menu for you. Easy!
We had a small dinner party (10 people) at our home and hired Rainbow Chefs to make the appetizer, dinner and dessert. It was amazing! We'll definitely recommend to all our friends and can't wait for our next event. Highly recommended!
Catered our New Years party for 16. Appetizers and food were excellent. Specializes in veggie, but did a meat course for us. All ingredients fresh, organic and gluten free. The gnocchi was to die for!
Lucas was the consummate professional all around. I truly enjoyed working with him - especially on such short notice. He was quick to respond in the planning stages. As for the meal, our group loved it. He cooked a spectacular prime rib roast with roasted vegetable. The homemade pasta with the saffron sauce was delicious. The amuse bouche and dessert were wonderful complements to the main courses. His server, Angel, was great, as well. I would highly recommend Lucas to anyone. Thanks for making our evening spectacular.
Chef Annicette was amazing! She made us the most delicious brunch: 6 different kinds of bacon, eggs benedict, crab cakes , waffles, and much more. She timed the meal perfectly and the portion size was perfect. Chef Annicette has a great energy and was an absolute delight to work with. I highly recommend her!

I hired Basic Catering for a dinner party. We had salmon and chicken breasts with asparagus and a variety of salads. The food was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. Will definitely order from them again.
GREAT SERVICE We got married yesterday and had to post a review immediately because Affordable Chef was so great! Chef Mark was punctual in replying to my questions before the big day, which, as an out-of-town bride, was very reassuring! At the last minute, Chef Mark was unable to attend the reception, but his on-site chef made delicious food, and the staff were phenomenal! There was one staff member in particular who took an interest in my Husband and I. She told us that we were her "celebrities for the day," made sure we ate appetizers before we walked in, escorted us to the buffet first, and was constantly checking on our drinks. She also took an interest in our families, leading many people to tell us how amazing she was! The bartender Chef Mark sent was also lovely, knew her stuff, and made our signature cocktails perfectly! All in all, a great experience and a company we would trust our next big event to!
I hired Chef Niko while I was in Korea for my dad's 75th birthday dinner in California. From the moment we spoke on the phone, she was thoughtful, attentive, kind, compassionate, and professional. I felt as if I was talking to a good friend of mine I had known for years. She accommodated every single one of my needs, my family needs, and went above and beyond to meet every single one of our expectations. My dad said, "It was an unforgettable birthday." My mom said, "I wished we had seconds!" My sister said, "My family and I were gifted a meal by Niko at our home. We are not vegan, so our menu contained meat. Everything from the appetizer to the dessert was super fresh, not too heavy, perfectly portioned, and had lovely flavor profiles. Niko even carried out the majority of her prep beforehand to accommodate our needs, brought flowers from her garden, and was extraordinarily flexible and attentive throughout the meal.
