My daughter is a 9th grader at Point Loma High School. She transferred from a private Catholic school and has never seen the Integrated Math that they now offer in the public schools system. She has always battled math anxiety and I was very worried with the new math being offered. I was referred to Nina from a mutual friend right before school started and my daughter instantly bonded with her. She felt so at ease with Nina and she explained things in a way that she could easily understand. Nina even went so far as to attain a copy of her math book and reached out to her teacher. I am so very happy to say my daughter received an A her first semester and is maintaining an A in her second semester. I have recommended Nina to other students who are having a positive result as well. If you are looking for a math tutor - Nina is the best!
This educator is top notch!! Extremely professional, very intelligent] going, comfortable to be around and patient. My son lost confidence due to the actions of his current Math Teacher. It was heartbreaking to see, since he loves Math so much! When we decided to invest in the tutelage of Jenny,we could see that his love for math was returning, this happened within just one month!!! We have renewed out contract with her and looking foward to a continued partnership with her! Bridges Family
I love how you can split your hours between different tutors. I was able to use some hours for chemistry, some hours for math and some hours for English.
I found Club Z! In-Home Tutoring Services of San Diego Coast to be a very reliable and allows for quick access to quality tutors. The tutors are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Desiree, the Area Director, is a great resource as well when I have looked for guidance on questions with students, as I am a Special Education Teacher, and for my own children. I highly recommend Desiree and her tutors as a teacher and a parent!
Our math tutor was great!
My daughter has been working with Diane since about October last year. I have seen such an improvement in her math skills. Math no longer intimidates her and she is confidant enough to do homework on her own. Thanks Diane!!
We love Ms. Konie! Our 9 year old son has Fragile X and struggles in both writing and math. We have been seeing Konie twice a week for the last six months. She continues to work tirelessly to keep her tutoring sessions interesting and engaging for our son. And we continue to see improvements in his ability to organize his thoughts and write cohesive paragraphs. We would recommend Konie to everyone!
Ana was a great learning coach and tutor for my 16 year old nephew! She was so enthusiastic and really was able to help him with some hard High School subjects, all the while being caring and empathetic and very available! I would rehire Ana again without hesitation!
Last year, we hired Kerry as a Math tutor for my step son who was in 6th grade and we were very happy with her services and his improvements. Kerry is a great tutor; she is experienced and patient and I highly recommend her.
Joshua Fuller is an incredibly talented tutor with a wide breadth of knowledge. He is great with kids and truly understands how to teach others. Compassionate, flexible, and intelligent - I could never speak highly enough of him! If you have previously been unsure about tutoring, go ahead and try a session with Joshua. I can promise that you will be happy with your decision. By far my favorite tutor!
5 out of 5 because Mya is outstanding! While Mya has been in Illinois she's been helping me with homework & tutoring me in history. She's helped me ace two different tests so far!
Jazmine has been my tutor for 3 years now in the subject of math. She has been excellent when it came to providing the help I needed. She is very enthusiastic about what she does.
My goal is to teach students how to understand and work through certain concepts they might have trouble learning in the classroom setting. I assure you that any student can really have an easy school and career, but only with the right help.

I am a college Math/Music major from Haverford College and I tutor from elementary to high school. Tutoring Subjects: All basic Math, pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, pre-Calculus and Calculus. For students who want to get ahead, I can help them learn concepts beyond what the classes teach. Reading, grammar and writing fundamentals. Biology, Chemistry and any history class from Greek history to AP US History. Music Lessons: Beginning through advanced instruction in: ~Trumpet ~ Clarinet ~ French Horn Music theory basics and ear training. As a multi-instrumentalist, I can help your child find the instrument about which they are most passionate. I've had nearly a decade of experience playing clarinet, french horn and trumpet (as well as most other brass and woodwind instruments) in jazz bands and orchestras. I've coached students and been a private teacher for the past five years. I believe strongly in establishing a strong understanding in music theory but incorporate aspects that keep the student interested in their instrument. So neat and the colors help me remember all the formulas! She's fantastic!!" Michelle, 6th grader parent: "My daughter was struggling in multiple subjects and with sports she didn't have a lot of time to be wasting. I needed a tutor that could come over and tutor Math, English, and Spanish at one time. Cynthia was just perfect for that! She's great with all of the subjects and she got my daughter right on track very quickly and when STAR testing came around she even prepared her for that too. I can't stress how much her notes help! They are so great the night before an exam for last minute reviewing! I would definitely recommend her to anyone!!"
