Markshane has been a wonderful personal trainer for me and my goals! I have gone from a weak and sickly body to gaining lean muscle! He has pushed me to work hard and challenge myself and the results are amazing. Not only has he gotten me into great shape, but he is an amazing mentor as well. I highly recommend Markshane as a personal trainer if you want to be in great shape and have someone who cares about your well being outside the gym as well!

Lana is an AMAZING personal trainer! I've been training with Lana for a little over a month, every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Her assessments of what you need to accomplish goals are exactly on target. Lana designed a program for me that has been working to help me achieve my goals. She has a way of challenging you that is very successful and rewarding, results are guaranteed. Lana knows what she is doing but is also smart and fun to work out with. She will push you without putting you down and knows how to challenge you to reach your goals. You'll be challenged right away and feel the burn, but somehow keep going back for more. Lana is always cheerful and motivating, and has the ability to constantly change up the routine so that it never gets boring. I'm so thankful for Lana, she not only helped me physically but also mentally.
Wes is a considerate personal trainer. He understands my apprehensions regarding training and has made me feel comfortable. I was nervous and unsure about my decision to hire a personal trainer, however I needed help and accountability in getting in shape. We are three sessions into our training, and I am learning a lot and actually enjoying myself. Wes is punctual, easy to talk to and knowledgeable. I am looking forward to my next work-out session.

I was looking for a yoga instructor to introduce me to the practice and to help me manage the soreness and work related stress held within my body. Allison has exceeded my expectations with her expertise and patience in teaching me poses which specifically address my needs. After just a few sessions, I have felt much more limber and relaxed overall, and I look forward to incorporateing the practice into my daily routine. I highly recommend Allison as a personal yoga coach for all levels of experience.
I've been doing personal training since 2010 through many different trainers, my all time favorite was with Brittany. I went through a phase where I wasn't conditioned to training, had gained weight and wasn't use to lifting weights. The first time we trained together, I thought it was really weird but she made it of importance about my breathing and posture and didn't just get right back into lifting like I use to. A couple sessions later, I really actually felt a difference because she made it important to recondition myself and make sure that I breathe properly while I train! She not only made me feel physically fit, she was a great person to talk to, and made me feel great while I worked out and constantly pushed me to be a better person. I wouldn't ever want another trainer, and when I'm done with my break from training, Brittany and I are going to be back out there hitting those new PR's!
Tom was my Personal Trainer at 24-Hour Fitness between July 2011 and May 2012. He helped me get into shape for my wedding (October 2011) and helped me to maintain my weight afterward. Overall, I had about 40 sessions with him--one of the best investments that I’ve made in a long time. Tom is very patient, extremely knowledgeable, and professional. He is passionate about fitness—he practices what he preaches and stays in great shape. He introduced me to new ways of working out and worked hard to make each session challenging and different for me—no two sessions were alike! Whenever I asked him tough questions about fitness, muscles, and nutrition; he was able to break it down for me so I could understand. He knows his stuff! Tom was my sixth personal trainer over the past several years and he has become my favorite. I highly recommend Tom as a personal trainer if you’re looking to improve your health.
Lisa is experienced and knowledgeable. She brings a lot more to the table then most trainers. She is also a health coach and helps with healthy eating.
Colby became my personal trainer in 2011. I thought I was in good shape to begin with but wanted someone who could take me to another level. Colby did just that. Within a few weeks I started noticing changes. My arms got bigger, my chest, shoulders and back became more defined. There are many great trainers in Los Angeles, the "fitness capital" of the U.S. but what separates Colby from others is not only his fitness knowledge but his passion and compassion for his clients. He knows how to motivate you without being overly aggressive to the point where you become deflated..."I can't do this anymore." He tailors workouts for that individual. I travel a lot for work and find it difficult to have a regular workout routine. Colby not only worked me hard during our session but taught me how to maintain my results even when I couldn't make it to the gym. He cared about ME and wanted me to be the best I could be.
Candon has been my personal trainer since 2014 and I am in so much better shape today, both physically and mentally, than when we started. In 2014 I was a real "newbie" -- with lots of "nevers": had a gym membership, "worked out", had a personal trainer, the list went on. Candon worked with me to assess what my goals were and what I wanted to achieve. He is very knowledgeable of physical anatomy. He's helped me so many times when I've come in suffering with overused or strained muscles--a side effect from sitting all day at my office job--he seems to know just the right exercises to help alleviate the pain and strengthen at the same time. He also helped a great deal during my rehabilitation after having both of my hips replaced. We both feel that I've healed fast. Candon has a great sense of humor and for me being able to have fun and laugh while I'm sweating and working my butt off is a real plus. (Sometimes we lose track of the number of reps and I end up working even harder!) I'm not the type of person who would ever do well with a "drill sergeant" screaming at me to do another push up or another rep! I highly recommend Canady Training for your personal training needs. Tony has been absolutely fantastic to work with. He was the only trainer that actually read what I posted and didn't send out a canned response. I am disabled and Tony has adapted my routine to fit within what my body is capable of and the results have been impressive. I had never lifted weights before and could barely dead lift 185lbs 6 weeks ago. I can now pull 365lbs and I'm certain the weight will just keep going up. I am having similar results with the other major lifts that we are doing. Tony is a knowledgeable trainer that easy going and makes his students feel comfortable. He is genuinely excited to see you get a personal record! When you are in the gym, his entire focus is on you. We spent a lot of time learning correct form and adding weight later. Tony has worked with me on the little details like changing how I set up under the bar when I am going to squat. I used to take too many steps to get into position with the weight on my shoulders and had issues clearing the pegs on the rack. We worked on setting up with my feet close together and changing which foot I started back with. This allowed me to comfortably clear the pegs and get into a proper position with 3 steps instead of 5. That makes a huge difference when you have a heavy weight on your shoulders. I recommend Tony without hesitation.
Roger provides everything you need as personal trainer. He provides the motivation and the attention you need to not give up and keep going! He makes working out fun and you can't wait to go back!!! What I like about Roger is that you never get bored of his workouts because every day it's a different workout. He has pushed me to my limits and I'm loving it! I will totally recommend Roger!!! He rocks! :)
As a former professional athlete I am always looking for somebody to push me and challenge me physically. Training with Sam gives me just that, she pushes me to my limits and motivates me to work harder every time. If you're looking for a personal trainer, she's awesome!!
John Burson has been my fitness trainer for over 12 years. He is highly competent and very professional, but what I like best is how attentive he is in customizing the workout specifically for me. Over many years, he has always fine tuned each exercise to best match my sometimes changing needs and wishes regarding my fitness. Thanks also to his very friendly attitude, every workout with him is always fun and enjoyable, never boring. Last but not least he is also very reasonable with his rates and flexible to accommodate my schedule. I would recommend John as a rare example of an ideal fitness trainer.
I am on week 11 with training with Tyler. He is overall a great trainer and friend. He is responsiveness is superb as I am able to text him to ask him any questions I need and he is flexible with my schedule. He gives great feedback and I am never afraid to tell him what workouts I am enjoying and which I am not and he is very willing to work with me to meet my needs. His knowledge about the human body and about fitness is extensive for being an undergrad in school and I feel confident in what he says. I would/ and have recommended Tyler to my friends who are looking to hire a personal trainer and I plan on working with Tyler for time to come!
I've been working out with Jamie now for about 6 weeks and have nothing but amazing things to say! He has very quickly dissolved the insecurities that I had about weight lifting and strength training and has turned it into confidence. He uses encouragement and is extremely patient in teaching me how to properly use the equipment and the form of each movement throughout. I work out with Jamie twice a week, and on the days I workout on my own at the gym I can very clearly hear his voice reminding me to follow through with each exercise, to complete each rep, and remember proper form. His style of personal training has been the most beneficial I have ever found. He teaches along the way and inspires curiosity of my own for constant improvement. Each time we meet he has a personalized workout that challenges me based on my progress and my goals. I truly look forward to each session and always leave happier, feeling healthier and motivated. This was the best decision I've made for my overall health in a long time, and I am very thankful for Forest Grown Health!
I am so happy to have found a personal trainer who is extremely knowledgeable about the field and very patient with someone who is just getting into fitness. I have been training with Stacey for almost 2 months now and love that our workouts are challenging yet fun. Aside from the workouts, she has created a diet plan specific to me and my needs.
