I highly recommend Megan for anyone looking to improve their fitness. Megan's personal training had a major impact in my life. I took yoga lessons for her for 6 months. Through her instruction I was able to balance my mind, body and soul. I also literally improved my balance skills which helps out on my favorite activity...downhill longboarding. Megan is extremely dedicated to and knowledgeable about personal training and fitness.
Allison is the best! I have been taking yoga classes on and off for a few years and never really saw a difference in my flexibility or mental clarity. Once I started with Allison, that all changed. She was able to customize a routine for me and guide me in a positive, knowledgable way. I now feel more flexible (stronger too!) and enjoy the peaceful feeling at the end of our session. I took a class with Amelia and had such a powerful and rejuvenating experience that I immediately asked her to collaborate with me in providing yoga classes for graduate and law students at the University of San Diego for the 2017-18 academic year. I continue to appreciate her professionalism and responsiveness in our exchanges putting the logistics of the program together. Amelia currently teaches biweekly classes but it is so popular that students have been asking me for weekly classes. She brings this unique energy that engages the students so much that the number of participants tripled from the last academic year!
Aneesa provides a calm and welcoming atmosphere in her home, which is where she taught the session in which I participated. The deck was lovely, with a great view. Aneesa can taylor the session to individuals or groups. Yoga with Aneesa was relaxing and I felt great afterwards!
We hired Jen for a private group yoga class for my best friends bachelorette party. She was a dream to work with. Not only was her class one of the highlights of our entire trip, (perfect for all levels!) she was incredibly responsive throughout the entire booking process. She was also very helpful with helping me pick the right location for our group to meet. She even helped with recommendations for places to go to brunch after our yoga class. Definitely book her. You will not regret it!
Anya is a treasure. She has been teaching vinyasa yoga at Quixey twice a week for six months now. It was apparent from day one that Anya not only loves to teach yoga, but has an infectious positive energy, and a smiling, easy-going attitude that makes everyone feel comfortable and have fun, and even laugh together now and then. Besides her deep knowledge of yoga, I really like her teaching style. There was a mix of beginners and more experienced students, and she was able to jump in and get us going in a flow immediately, and then gradually honed our technique. She also has a good eye for seeing when someone needs individual attention, and walks around helping us. But she also knows how to pace the class and keep us challenged by gradually increasing difficulty, trying new poses and techniques. You will get a challenging workout with Anya, followed by a centering shavasana that will leave feeling peaceful and relaxed. At Quixey, word spread about how good Anya's class and it the number of students kept growing until we had to find a larger space. Anya is the best Yoga teacher I have had, and if you're lucky enough to have an opportunity to have her teach you, I would recommend you try just one class, and you will be hooked by Anya's talent and wonderful energy.
Anna approaches all of her interactions with people with the utmost love and compassion. She always has the best intentions no matter what she undertakes and that is why it is a pure joy to take one of her yoga classes. She is that sweet gentle voice that reminds you to love yourself no matter what. Always warm and welcome, her classes refresh and renew you whether it is a juicy vinaysa or a restorative candlelit sesh.

Marjorie is, hands-down, the best "teacher" I've ever had. The reality is that to call her "teacher" wouldn't be enough. I came across Marjorie six years ago, when her class was recommended to me by another instructor, and I attended her class at then-Vira Yoga in NYC. I was blown away by everything about Marjorie: her knowledge of the whole body and of practicing yoga safely is above and beyond anyone I've ever met. I am a former soccer player with a history of chronic pain, and always shied away from regular yoga. Marjorie became my weekly ritual-I begin attending her Sunday 4 PM class at World Yoga Center whenever I could, and even sometimes went during lunch to her weekday classes. The modifications that she teaches are unlike any instructor I've ever met. She gently helps you find a way to be in every pose, commands the class with great warmth while also offering to help each student and pay attention to their alignment, and is available for consultation outside of class. She also is not like some yoga teachers, who move through the poses quickly and aren't sensitive to potential injury points. Marjorie is extremely experienced and teaches with safety first. she also incorporates sage wisdom, mindfulness, and recommendations for self-care and homeopathic remedies regularly. And she's funny! Also, she's a native New Yorker, I also found her observations very pertinent and real (for example, many New Yorkers spend time at a desk sitting in a chair, and are surrounded by lots of noise and high energy levels generally - she methodically walks you through how to adjust to each of those norms). I suspect that wherever Marjorie lives and teaches, she is fully engrossed in the patterns and habits of that location. This ability of hers to be "tuned in" and genuine goes a long way in the way she teaches her class. I was delighted to also learn that Marjorie could be a confidant and crucial consult for other health problems in my life. She will always defer to doctors and experts, but Marjorie pointed me towards a rehabilitation specialist and I have been working with for two years, who has also changed my life. Not to mention that several health and mindfulness-related books on my bookshelf are there as a result of Marjorie's recommendation. And most recently, at Marjorie's urging, I completed her reset and re-new course, which helped me to reset my eating habits and tackle my inflammation, and, as she says, "live better in my body" through diet and wellness routines. I am happy to say that I have lost 20 pounds in my inflammation is greatly reduced. And, the whole time I've known her, I've known that she is always available when I may be in crisis with my health. When Marjorie left New York City, a regular of part of my routine did go away. But, Marjorie makes herself available for private sessions via Zoom, and will regularly consult over email. She is an incredible practitioner and anyone lucky enough to should reap the benefits of her wisdom. There are 1 million instructors out there, but they're truly only has one Marjorie. Plus, her dog is adorable!!!!
I was visiting my friend in San Diego and noticed Amy leading a yoga class on the beach. I went up to inquire about her lessons and she was so nice and super accommodating. I booked a private lesson for me and my friend for the following morning and I couldn’t have been happier. Amy really listened to what I hoped for and incorporated a nice man mixture of flow and more restorative postures. My friend had very little experience with yoga and Amy was so great at explaining and guiding the class in a way she could follow. I would highly recommend Amy for individual or group lessons. If I lived out in San Diego I would definitely book her all the time. She is wonderful... You will not be disappointed!

It was incredibly easy to schedule a session in my busy schedule, and the way she was able to personalize the yoga progressions to fit my specific needs is why I continue to work with her and only her to this day.
I was brand new to Yoga. Before our first class, Emily sent me an assessment to be prepared for our class. Arriving on time and ready with mats, blocks and supplies, we began. I never had to ask questions as Emily walked me through every move. The hour flew by, I was given "homework" to practice for our next meeting. Emily followed up 2 times before we met again. I really think this will be great for me. Emily is great and so very patience. I hooked!
Kimmi is a gifted and intuitive healer. I appreciate that she is available for private session and group classes. She often donates her reiki love at a weekly yoga class I teach, and the students are always left feeling more at ease and peace. I receive many comments of gratitude from the students for her healing presence. I highly recommend Kimmi and Reiki Love.
I loved the yoga classes I took with Leanna! She is great at transforming any space and place into a calm atmosphere for focused practice. She also has the right balance of serious and fun which is important in a yoga teacher. Good hands-on adjustments and sequencing.

I had the pleasure of going through Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training with Michelle. Over the 5 weeks, it was amazing to watch her grow as a teacher.
