My daughter Sarah was frightened to go before an audience. She even refused to rehearse her lines and sing in front of her parents. We worked with singing and acting coaches, but it was Theresa Finamore that really changed my daughter. Once we started working with Theresa, we dropped all the other coaches. Theresa was positive and vivacious. She brought fun to the whole acting and singing experience. She turned my daughter from a shrinking wall flower to the star of her school musical. The experience with Theresa changed my daughters life. She now has confidence and poise whenever she is in front of an audience.

I feel Jennifer and I have a great connection , we get along fabulously. She is a tremendously talented musician and singer (obviously ). Her abilities as a pianist and singer is equally matched by her ability to professionally yet pragmatically teach, mentor, tutor and guide one in the art of operatic singing. We have established goals. She is the epitome of promptness. I always look forward to my lessons with Jennifer. It is an honor to be her student . Sincerely - Dave

A lesson with Cris is intensive work that wastes no time getting to the heart of your technical or artistic issues. Even as a vocal teacher myself with a masters degree in performance I can say unequivocally that after each lesson I leave excited with completely fresh work to do. A must for a performing professional.

An excellent and intimate Improv class that would be great for any level of experience! The instructor made struck an nice balance between giving good constructive feedback while still maintaining a comfortable and friendly environment. Improvement is certainly the goal here, but it's done in a way that isn't off putting to someone who hasn't done it in ages.

Gigi started from scratch with my son whom had never had a singing lesson with parents who are have no musical skills. The minute we met, I knew Gigi's positive attitude and natural enthusiasm was a perfect fit. Gigi quickly understood my son's learning style and has patiently taught him the technical aspects of singing while continuing to build his self confidence. She also stepped in on short notice to prepare him for an acting audition in LA. Prior to Gigi, my son was unprepared for every musical theater audition yet now he goes in with the correct music and a well rehearsed song that features his vocal strengths. Once we started with Gigi, he got his first call back!

I first contacted David to help me with my voice range and tone for my craft as an actor. I've been working with him for six months now and I am very very happy with my growth. not only has he helps me with my voice but we've also been working tediously with my posture, which has improved drastically. David is currently helping me with two monologues and I am very happy. He is super supportive, kind, informative, professional and overall and exceptional teacher.

As a former professional dancer myself, I have the ability to take your already-talented and -trained student to the next level, as well as teaching within such a structure that can take you from a beginner to an intermediate in record time. I am lucky to have had a promising career, having danced with the ABT, TBT, and Broadway Tours, as well as numerous productions with well-respected performers such as Sally Struthers, John Vaughn, Debbie Reynolds, Elizabeth Berkeley, Joe Tremaine and more. Ultimately, I turned to acting, working with top talents consistently in TV, film, and theater since. .

About

Me? After graduating with a degree in Theater & Liberal Arts, I've worked with the A-List in both Hollywood & the music industry. I've done commercials, performed at a Superbowl for 75,000 roaring fans, starting out as a child actor on Romper Room! In acting, I work with students who want to practice their ability to portray a certain character by understanding how that character thinks & feels & how s/he got to be that way. We can work on your current scene study, cold reading, method acting, classical acting, voice overs, improvisation, and/or physical theater, to emphasis blocking & movement for screen or stage. In music, I work with singers & songwriters who want to sing or writer songs in the following genres: pop, folk, new age, classical, or metal. Studying piano and voice for many years, I wrote songs with a 3-Time Grammy-winning producer for 7 years. Together, you & I will work on your understanding of music, songwriting, and singing in your favorite genre. Learning my vocal exercises will build your voice, as well as the sustainable use of your voice. If your chosen genre is classical, jazz, pop, r&b, country, beginning opera, musical theater, folk, then I can help you build a voice which will last for years!
