Marissa M. says, "We used Yury to install our wainscoting, and the reasons I went with him over the other contractors who quoted us were (1) he was the cheapest (but not just that); (2) his pricing was transparent (per panel as opposed to hourly, which I prefer because hourly can sometimes result in contractors intentionally taking a while on a job to make more money); (3) he asked questions that none of the other contractors had thought to ask that showed an attention to detail and desire to complete the job with an eye for an elegant look that the other contractors did not have. For reference, the first contractor quoted me $65.00 per hour and told me the job would take 12-16 hours ($780.00 to $1,040.00). Yury told me he could do the job in 4ish hours, and it took him about 4.5 in total. His pricing was $600.00 for the whole project which included removing the old baseboards, installing the 5 wainscoting panels, and installing the chair railing for our dining room only. Yury made very clear he does not do the caulking or painting, so granted his quote was cheaper, the others quotes included that, but I was happy to save the money and did the caulking and painting myself. Everything looks great, he was very punctual, his work quality was excellent, and I would definitely recommend Yury to anyone looking for woodwork, especially wainscoting/paneling! He was very kind and even did a favor for me and cut some wood for me for a personal project that I had been trying to cut for with a handsaw at no extra cost."See more

Being a single woman and not knowing much about mechanics, plumbing or electrical, it is very stressful to hire someone and just trust them to honestly repair what is wrong without upcharge and unnecessary repairs. I requested three different estimates from "Angie". There was one that only had 2 stars … I was not sure if I should even engage with him. Was I happy I did. Diego was very courteous, quick to respond and answer my question's on the phone, so I decided to meet with him and show him the repairs I needed. He and his team arrived on time. He could have told me that 100% replacement of my doors was needed and I would have approved, because I lack the knowledge and that was the worst case scenario in my mind. He was very knowledgeable, and gave me options to repair my doors. I ended up spending a $120.00 instead of $850.00 dollars another handyman quoted. I could not be happier not only with the cost but with the repairs completed that resolved the problem. He is a keeper ! I have told all my friends about him and I will continue using his services. Seemed like a really nice guy. Very presentable. Showmanship was there. Leaving this review for picking up and installing a drop-in sliding screen door. It was the wrong door. Simple as that. Doesn’t fit or secure properly. I wasn’t given the receipt. I can’t even attempt to have a friend return it for me. The box was left behind, but no receipt. The screen popped out after 24 hours. Back to not having a sliding screen door. Reached out to Trevor but haven’t heard back yet. I can update this review later if the issue gets handled. I should have inspected the door more carefully, but I didn’t notice it was the wrong door until later that afternoon when it came of the tracks, noticed that handle is backwards, and cannot be reversed.

I selected Zurteck based on the reviews of others that has used the services of this vendor. We had a new front door and security screen installed. Raul was very efficient in communication and punctual at all times. We definitely ran into unforeseen issues with our install as it progressed which required Raul to travel back to our home to finish but he did not complain or kick up a fuss about it. I am one of those people that is very picky when it comes to work being done and if something is off by 1mm I notice it. Raul did not leave until I was happy with the install. We will definitely be using this company again for other projects. Thank you Raul.

John from Unstoppable Home Services installed two security screen doors for me today and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I scheduled the appointment with Preston through the Thumbtack app and he was helpful, polite and responsive. I was able to make a next-day appointment. John, the service technician, was on time and communicated with me to let me know when he was on his way. I needed to have the doors picked up from a nearby hardware store, so John stopped to pick them up before arriving at my house. While at the hardware store he noticed that one of the doors was missing necessary screws, and his attention to detail saved both time and trouble because he was able to correct the problem before he left the store. John was professional, friendly, and very efficient, finishing the job in less time than I expected. He was also very respectful of my home and cleaned up the work area after the job was done. The doors look fantastic and work very well. Thank you for a job well done, I would definitely use Unstoppable Home Services again.
