Jacquelyn W. says, "A rainy Weds. morning at 7:30. Alternative dates were far off, so I gave him a pop-up to work under, connected electrical from the garage, and away they went! And the job enlarged, including using a pry bar (for at least an hour and a half!) to break out old concrete. My sidewalk suffered a chip, but considering the mess left behind by previous installations, it was probably inevitable. The new gate is beautiful, lightweight, and replicates the old one so closely I can’t see any differences, except it functions 10,000% better! Stain and urethane is nextlll"

May be he has other handyman skills but not much in door installs related. After installation my door it didn't close due to lack of proper sanding. I rehire another pro and removed the door with another new door.

Armando did a great job replacing and installing a rear exterior entry door to our home. Job was install and fit replacement slab door (w/ full glass pane) into a pre-existing external door frame: Mortising 4 hinges, lockset boring (deadbolt and handle), switch out lock equipment, then install/adjust a new sweep against the threshold. I was happy enough with the first door that I asked Armando to replace a second similar door that was 1/2 of a french door pair. Armando did excellent work, and came at a great price point for the job. I'll call him again for any doors in the future.

What a great door installer! Chris installed a back door for me that was the wrong size! It was 30” door instead of 32” door. Of course he gave me the option to return it. However, it took 6 weeks for order it. So he made all the adjustments to make it work. Just charge extra for the materials to build up the side to install it correctly. He knows his stuff when it comes to doors. Very polite and kept me informed as the process when on. In a few hours I had my new door! Thank you Chris and helper for excellent work!

An excellent craftsman! An internal door broke and we needed it replaced. We bought the door but needed help to install it into the preexisting frame. Our door frame was slightly asymmetrical, just from the house settling. We really wanted the door replaced quickly because we had family coming to stay with us. He came that evening. He was really nice and he did a fantastic job. The door opens and shuts perfectly. He didn’t stop when the door was adequately installed, he really made sure that it was perfect, which I appreciate. His price was good.

I hadn’t been able to open this door for years because the laundry machines protruded too far, but it turns out switching a door from swinging on the right side to the left side is actually quite difficult and I was having a hard time finding anyone willing to take on the task. I finally tried Thumbtack and John came through. Hallelujah! The first picture is of the blocked door, the second and third pictures are detail of the door successfully installed on the opposite side. The same door and hardware were used.
