Used Sierra Madre Catering for an office holiday party. Would definitely use them again and pricing was very reasonable. Everyone in the office was very happy with the food and they were able to accommodate several vegetarians and one vegan in our office.

I hired Michelle an Eimee from Elegant and Modern Events for my small wedding. I was on a tight budget and they gave me a quote that seemed reasonable. During the wedding planning Michelle and Eimee were very professional, answering tons of my emails and questions. They were always fast to answer and very polite and understanding. We met at the reception venue to go through the details and I couldn't help, but notice how nice, friendly and easy to talk they are! During the meeting Michelle and Eimee gave me some valid suggestions and also offered to help with rentals, which saved me a lot of headache. They sent me the options of possible flowers and allowed me to pick what designs I like the most. I wanted something simple, but cute, and their design matched my expectations very well! We met one more time to go over the details and they brought me some samples that I absolutely loved! While being busy at work and being unable to do as many DIY projects as I originally intended, I kept adjusting the order and add more and more stuff, but Michelle and Eimee were very understanding and had everything ready by the day of the wedding. What I loved the most about working with them is that they were able to set up 2 different wedding sites at the same time, since they were 2 of them! They also promptly transferred some of the decoration from the ceremony to the reception site and quickly set it up before the guests showed up! Honestly, when I saw all the decorations and flowers set up, I was shocked how nice it looked. I also got a lot of compliments on the bouquets and centerpieces. By the end of the wedding they were all taken by the guests! I can't thank them enough for making my wedding so relaxing and feel very well taken care of! I would highly recommend Michelle and Eimee to anyone who needs any flower arrangements or rental services!
I hired Ricki, my Special Event Genie, to work her magic (and dedicated hard work) on my 70th Birthday Party. Every detail was absolutely perfect. Ricki kept in touch with me by phone, text and in person meetings from the day I hired her, came to my event hours early and stayed late to manage clean up. She knew every aspect of party planning from table position and centerpieces that maintain a theme to creative displays to timelines — All of my guests enjoyed interacting with her and everyone had a good time.

I absolutely loved my party because Iris was there to take care of everything, including the cleanup. There was an abundance of delicious appetizers and her crew served them to our guests as well as made and served the drinks. We have heard from several people how beautiful and delicious everything was. We'll certainly call Iris for our next party!

Deuce was truly a lifesaver when it came to planning my husband’s 40th birthday party. I wanted something that would be unforgettable but still within my budget and Deuce was able to come through with everything I wanted and more. I consider myself a pretty creative planner but I definitely pale in comparison to Jackie’s creativity when it comes to decor, presentation, and making the whole event from start to finish very memorable for my husband. Jackie is one of the sweetest, most creative people I have met in this industry and I would recommend Deuce to ANYONE who is planning any event or party. It’s worth every penny spent. On the day of the party I didn’t have to worry about anything, and just showed up. Everyone loved the decorations and the professional staff. Would recommend highly for any type of event.

It was my pleasure working with Katherine. This lady is extremely courteous, professional and caring. She and her team had created wonderful experience and beautiful party for my baby’s 1st birthday. We had a limited area for an event but Katherine came up with a solution to accommodate kids corner and adult mingling. Throughout the process we had an easy communication. Katherine listened and transformed our ideas into reality. She had coordinated everything from decor, food catering to kids entertainment. On the day of the event, her whole team worked very well together. They were all very CALM!!! I had a very stressful personal experience of organizing a party by myself before. We most definitely had a Happening, catered! First family reunion in 12 years for a large family in the movie business for 3 generations, who as a group are the most discerning foodies I know. Everyone was raving about the food from start to finish, and then afterwards in a flurry of emails, thanking the hosts for such an amazing party-- we could not have done it without Vincent and crew. None of us lifted a finger, and my cousin's home was left absolutely spotless. They also did a fabulous job on an all Greek menu, which they a lot of research to develop, and find the best sources for ingredientsfrom the bread to the very tender octopus legs. Nothing could have been improved on. Vincent and his staff had our backs on every detail. Esther was a beautiful organizer who made the transitions seamless, gracious and elegant. The sous chefs and servers looked like they loved their work, clearly knew each other well and seemed to be having as much fun putting on a great party as the guests did. We all think Vincent's focus on creating fantastic food as integral to the party and prepared on site in front of everyone is an exciting new development in the concept of catering. That was the real activity of the afternoon, and appreciated by all! It was hard to get my family out of the kitchen and into the garden, they were all so amazed by the enjoyment of food and of watching the synchronicity of the chef and his team. It was performance art.
Steven Uwanawich and Sara Leong of Tranquility Experience were my two wedding coordinators for my June 1st 2013 wedding and gave me a lifetime of beautiful memories from that day. Steven coordinated all of our vendors and made the day a collaborative success with catering, rentals, photography, DJ, a photo booth, valet and our officiant. His style of communication is both professional and friendly, helping everyone to work well together to produce a successful event. Sara liaised with me and my now husband, the wedding party, and our family. Sara had many things and people to coordinate that day, but anytime I had a thought of something I needed, it seemed she was just 5 steps away, already seeing the writing on my face that I could use her help. The way she anticipated needs and was in true service mode was exceptional. Steven and Sara gave thoughtful recommendations where they saw they could help and brought their expertise and knowledge from their catering backgrounds to help see that the day flowed well. My family, friends and our vendors all gave rave reviews of how well Steven and Sara ran our wedding. When an unexpected plumbing issue came up, they dealt with it directly and discreetly, showing us that they were indeed there to handle anything that could come up. Every time I turned around one or both of them were checking in on us, having appetizers brought to us while we were doing our post-ceremony photographs and offering refreshments to our family during the hot mid-day family photos. Tranquility Experience brought a unique mix of fun, friendliness and true commitment to seeing an event go perfectly that for me is unmatched. I highly recommend their services for putting on a beautiful, flawless and memorable event.

Christine was our day of wedding planner although she spent several months leading up to our wedding day meeting with us in person and answering our emails. At first we considered not going with a planner at all to save money but with almost 200 guests, including children, it was one of the best decisions we made. Christine was knowledgeable, organized, considerate, and listened to our requests without pushing her own vision on us. She made us feel so at ease during our rehearsal and completely stress-free the day of, handling all of the details, coordinating with vendors, and keeping us plus our families on time throughout the day. I can’t explain how helpful, thoughtful and kind Amy was to me. She has done much more than I expected. She helped me out with everything and was always asking how everything was going. When I got lost there she was lighting up my day and helping me to get what I wanted. It was a true blessing to have her with me.
