Nicki was always prompt, attentive and full of energy and terrific ideas. Her choices of wall paint colors was also an added and unexpected bonus! It is highly apparent that she is a veteran in the staging industry, and NOT a 'newbie' who chooses the cheap route of pulling strange furnishings out of their friend's homes to use. Nicki was not offended when I requested a stager over a certain age, as I'm decorating in a 50's theme for a real estate listing of mine, and she immediately knew how to proceed. Austin Design was able to help me with several projects that I had during the last few years. Catherine has been easy to work, with guiding me,and my clients. Sarah did much of the interior design in my home--from paint colors to tile patterns, from furniture to throw rugs--and my wife and I are extremely happy with her work. The greatest testimonial came from a real estate agent who was appraising our house for sale and said, "You do not need to stage this house for a sale. Keep everything in place." Sarah has what I would call a classically-inspired modern taste. In modern fashion, she is not afraid of using color or bold patterns but she does it in a restrained way that complements everything else in the home. Classically, he is very keen on accents--pillows, throws, centerpieces--but the rooms never appear cluttered or overdone. Her taste in furniture and lighting is also inspired by the melding of the classic and modern. Sarah was great to work with. Dogged, but not overbearing. Inspired but open-minded. Candice with Staging By Candice is the reason why my listings are selling in a declining market. One day, I was complaining about my listings not selling, and didn't understand "why" because they were "nice." Candice overheard me and suggested that I allow her to stage one of those "nice" listings, and see if it would make a difference. I had her do one of my 'nice" listings, and WOW!!! Candice made a difference!! Not only did my listing look great, but it also sold within a month! I have used her for several years, and she truely transforms a home to sell. I've been a Realtor since 1994, and with the market constantly changing, my prior standard marketing plan was not working to sell my listings, but now using Candice, I can sell my listings. Not only does a home need to be priced right, but it absolutely must be staged in order for it to sell, and for a good price. It is now part of my marketing plan that I rarely deviate from. I even tell the seller that I will deduct the cost of the staging from my commission at closing, which will help to convince the seller to do it, as they need to participate with the staging. Overall, it is peanuts to obtain a sale vs. sitting on the market for a few more months. Even fellow Realtors have been asking me what my secret is (as I've been selling most of my regular sellers homes in this market), and it really is the staging that makes my listings stand out over the competition. For the minimal cost involved for the staging, my clients get a better return back with the sale of their home, and they sell much faster than the competition. Candice works with the seller's current possessions, and her own possessions to transform a "nice" home to a "breathtaking" home. My listings are now selling faster, easier, and at a better price than if staging wasn't involved. My sellers even recommend me to their friends because of the staging. Even my skeptical sellers are delighted after their homes sell because they see the transformation themselves. If there was a higher rating than Outstanding, Heike would get it! I first met Heike when I began my real estate career 12 years ago, and have used her exclusively as my stager. Heike has the skill to stage a home specific to each home and how it is best presented. And now I am thrilled to report that I use Heike exclusively as my personal designer for our home. Heike not only does interior design for us, but she took over the design process for our very large kitchen remodel; I told her what I wanted in a kitchen, and she made it happen; Heike designed the layout and helped me select all the material. My brother, John Rashleger, Rashleger Construction, executed the design, and was so impressed with Heike that he refers her to his clients! Heike is now in the final stages of our bathroom remodel, another perfect room in our home!
Jennifer helped me from beginning to end from purchase, through the renovation, interior design, getting tenants and property management. I told her what I was looking for and she found a property that fit exactly what I wanted. So we put the offer in and she was able to talk to the listing agent and get the scales tipped in our favor. There were over 20 offers and she was able to get the seller to chose us! After we purchased it she recommended some contractors that she previously worked with. After I shopped around for bids from various contractors including hers, I ultimately felt comfortable going with her recommendation and we began construction. Jennifer also helped me with interior design, flooring, lighting and kitchen design. Jennifer started marketing the home when the project was nearing completion and she found tenants immediately. The tenants are great and they are still there to this day with Jennifer as the property manager. She takes care of everything and its simple for me because I just receive monthly checks.
