John B. says, "Elmer has been working on a significant window and door project at my home, including replacing hardware on two casement windows, replacing two large picture windows (which unexpectedly revealed hidden dry rot that also needed repair), and replacing a set of French doors. Although the project is still in progress, I’ve been very impressed with his professionalism, communication, and workmanship. When the hidden dry rot was discovered, he explained the problem clearly and addressed it properly instead of taking shortcuts. He has been punctual, courteous, and patient in answering my questions throughout the project. Based on my experience so far, I would confidently recommend Elmer to anyone looking for an honest and skilled contractor. I retired from the trade about 5 years ago and since then, did most of my home updating myself….until a few weeks ago. My current projects of redoing the entryway ceiling drywall and remodeling the guest bathroom were coming close to being 250 days old, and it was time to face the fact that I needed help. When I posted the drywall project on Thumbtack, Alberto Aldana contacted me within minutes and submitted a great estimate, and was hired based on the aforementioned and his reviews. He was out here the next day with his crew and they did an outstanding job re-mudding, re-texturing, and painting the ceiling and crown molding. The job was done in 3 days and was near perfection. Based on that I hired him to finish the guest bathroom with the same outstanding result! I could not be more pleased.
