Greg Kleiner says, "James is amazing. He recently led a project where we completely renovated our house from the studs up. It was a year plus project with an endless list of moving parts. And as with every major renovation, we certainly had our share of curve balls along the way as we opened up things like the walls and the foundation. James steered the ship through all of it. We particularly liked his positive attitude about what was possible and the creative solutions we found to make things work. All of the subs he pulled into the project were great. Work ethic, availability, and communication were all top notch. Cant recommend him highly enough."See more

Andrew T. says, "I have been in the construction business for 40+ years and a General Contractor for about half of that time. I retired from the trade about 5 years ago and since then, did most of my home updating myself….until a few weeks ago. My current projects of redoing the entryway ceiling drywall and remodeling the guest bathroom were coming close to being 250 days old, and it was time to face the fact that I needed help. When I posted the drywall project on Thumbtack, Alberto Aldana contacted me within minutes and submitted a great estimate, and was hired based on the aforementioned and his reviews. He was out here the next day with his crew and they did an outstanding job re-mudding, re-texturing, and painting the ceiling and crown molding. The job was done in 3 days and was near perfection. Based on that I hired him to finish the guest bathroom with the same outstanding result! I could not be more pleased. Alberto can tackle any project with the highest quality workmanship, professionalism, value, and honesty. There is not a trade he does not excel at."See more

Sam did a great job repairing my fire door. He didn’t know it, but I had two other doors that needed replacing. When I showed him the other doors, he didn’t hesitate and went about measuring and ran to the hardware store immediately. He couldn’t find the size for one of the doors. He was ready with his saw and made the perfectly fitting door. I also asked if he could replace the hardware on my sink. He did a great job on that as well. I am one happy customer! Thanks Sam! If I have more projects, you will definitely be the one I will call.

I needed to have two doors fixed, both interior. One was a bathroom door which could barely close and when it did it was tremendously loud. The other was a bedroom door that was the opposite. It would swing open and closed loudly. He was able to fix them both. It's almost like the doors are brand new.
Also, I had him take out four dividers which separated the kitchen from the Living room and Dining room. This was a last minute request but he did it for me. Now my kitchen looks much more open.
Raul is also very nice. I plan on hiring him for a few more projects throughout the house.

Lucas from FastFix did a fabulous job on our sliding patio door. He was punctual, efficient and his work was top notch. He restored an unusable sliding door to tip-top functionality in 30 minutes of hard work, and was pleasant and professional to boot. It was a pleasure to work with him.

Very impressed and pleased with the job. He recut a rough opening of an odd shaped pantry door to be square and standard, installed new door and all trim. Only took a few hours and he was completely clean along the way. Very professional and very thorough in communication. Would absolutely hire him again!

Could not recommend more. So grateful because it was late evening and my front door wouldn’t shut, thought I may have to leave my door open all night! He responded 5 minutes after I submitted a request and was at my house an hour later. He was very reasonable on price, knowledgeable, and very nice and friendly. Fixed it in an hour. Will use for anything I need in the future.

I can’t say enough good things for Rigoberto’s work. I had him come out to fill in holes in the front door of our home from where older locks were replaced with new locks. I initially thought that the door had to be replaced. Rigoberto came out to do an assessment and said he could fill in the door and refinish. His work came out perfectly! You cannot tell where the old locks used to be! I have to say the professionalism, timeliness and communication was so great that helped make the process seamless and less stressful with the holidays coming up. Thank you Rigoberto! We will call you again!

Lucas responded right away to my first inquiry. With so much experience, he could tell me and estimate the cost of the job just from a description and photo. He was quick, and concise. Got the job done! Don’t hesitate and struggle for years like I did with my door! Feels brand new!

Knock Knock Contractor
Knock Knock Contractor
Nick from Knock Knock did a great job replacing the old hardware on our solid wood front door. We originally had three separate pieces of hardware, and he helped us simplify everything down to a new smart deadbolt and handleset. The job also required filling and covering the opening left behind by the old lock.

Nick was very professional, thorough, and worked late to make sure everything was completed properly. The Bondo used to fill the old opening did create a pretty strong smell inside the house for a few hours, but that was temporary and the finished result looks great.

We’re very happy with the work and are already considering having Nick come back to help with some additional weather sealing and replacing the door kick plate. Would definitely recommend him!

THE BEST!! Bilal can do anything. He has a ton of knowledge and experience, so he delivers end to end quality and professionalism throughout. Really pleased with all the work he did (doors, fixtures, gates, shelves) and the high quality and creativity he brought to more challenging situations. Looking forward to working with him on more projects!
